Loved the spicy donar kebab. They gave us extra tzazikis too. Great ambiance! They have board games you can play with like jenga, while you wait for your food. Will definitely come back again.

I’ve been coming to this location for over 2 years. I love the Spicy Doner with lamb and the Street Cart Fries are to die for. They change up their beer selection frequently and since I’m a sucker for IPAs I’m always curious to try something new. On our most recent visit, my boyfriend decided to order the Berliner Fries with feta cheese and it was delicious. I will definitely order this again. The service is always good, and the staff is friendly. Great food.

I went to Spitz with a group of friends after watching a basketball game over at Public House on Vermont. I wasn’t that hungry, but after seeing one of the waiters walk by with a falafel wrap, I was completely won over. I ordered their most popular wrap with falafel of course and the«Typical Blonde» Stone IPA. My friends ordered both sweet potato and regular fries, and they were AMAZING — highly recommend. It was so much food, and even though I wasn’t hungry I finished the whole thing. I really suggest going to Spitz for a casual dinner with a group of friends, and it’s such a fun area to walk around in as well.

Spitz is definitely not what I imagined when I first heard the name Spitz. I didn’t envision Mediterranean at all but it’s great! Located in beautiful Los Feliz, Spitz fits right into the neighborhood feel. The Street Cart Donor is pretty bomb. Order at the front and the food will be brought out to your table. I got mine with chicken and the wrap came out piping hot. I pretty much wolfed it down. Price is about average. Just the wrap will run you around $ 10. The only thing I would suggest to make the wrap better is to mix the meat and the veggies a bit more as it’s wrapped. I pretty much had to eat one bite with meat, then one bite with veggies as none of it was mixed well. Overall great place to hang out and chill with friends during the afternoon and enjoy some decent food.

Ordered takeout. Got the fries and salad basket and the spicy doner wrap, and ordered baklava(but it wasn’t in it). Everything was very bland. The wrap was not spicy, and nothing had much flavor to it. The fries were greasy and soggy. All in all it was fairly disappointing.

I absolutely love this restaurant. but with that said, I really wish they had SHRIMP as an option, for those pescatarians out there who do not eat chicken or steak. I have my fingers crossed that one day my shrimp wish will come true!

I love this place! My friends and I get brunch here every week. The sangria is AMAZING! I love that they can make anything you want vegan or vegetarian. The staff is friendly and they allow dogs. My favorite is the spicy döner!

This place used to be my favorite spot in Los Feliz. It had a great rotating beer selection, an open-aired environment, reasonable prices(especially at happy hour), quick service, and good food… But recently the döners have been overstuffed with cabbage rather than meat. I’ve returned multiple times hoping that it’s just a fluke, but it seems like policy now. I find myself pulling apart the wrap to reduce the bitter overflow of this purple biennial plant. They still have a great beer selection and a solid breakfast(egg + meat döners x micheladas). But overall, I’ve stopped going for lunch or dinner.

Came here on a Wednesday night around 7pm. The parking was incredibly difficult to get. I circled different blocks about 6 times before finally finding a space. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded — enough tables open for our group. After I ordered my food, I waited maybe 5 minutes before getting it, which was pretty awesome! I got the chicken spicy doner. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste that amazing. There were way too many vegetables(chopped up cabbage I think? Which I personally think is a filler for real vegetables), and the meat wasn’t great. Luckily, they had a bottle of sriracha at the table, which helped quite a bit.

Great food, but delivery always late. And every time I try to call, the line is busy, and their mail box is full. I don’t think having to wait 20 – 30 mins past the promised time, without any communication is acceptable for any business. Disappointing. Update: after four(answered calls, twenty or so unanswered) their delivery service messed up. And they’re refunding me. Still have no dinner, and lost an hour waiting outside for something that isn’t coming. Wish my first call had actually prompted some communication between them and their delivery service. Thanks dudes. Just disappointing. Had to see other tenants get dinner delivered, with other places I should have chosen.

I had no idea what this restaurant was when I drove by, but some friends of mine have heard about it and said it was great. A group of friends and I went after a hike and was extremely pleasantly surprised when the everything french fries were so unbelievably good I couldn’t stop eating, the wraps are really good and tasty they also serve some great craft beers from local breweries. Parking was a pain in the ass but if you can find it go there.

Ok, so driving by and see the signage! What Mediterranean street food, Huh??? What a great surprise. Found this place today at happy hour and the energy of the place is contagious & vibrant. I loved the doquitos(beef and lamb). The fries are to die for. Sangrias could’ve been a bit fruitier & more along the lines of the traditional mix, but I understand the beer /wine license consideration. Bravo Spitz on instilling an extraordinary sense of customer service and good food! Hope to be back.

I can never get enough of this place. There is not too many places I can say that about. After every bite I want another. Each bite is as colorful and tasteful as the last. Plus they have SANGRIAANDCRAFTBEER. No better combo. P. S. Pay attention to the lights

Sangria! Wow, when I came into Spitz I was not expecting them to have 4 different types of Sangria, and each of them were only $ 6 with the happy hour prices(happy hour is from 3 – 7 on weekdays). The cashier was generous enough to let us sample different sangrias before committing and I would say the Rose sangria will be my pick next time, but I chose the Lavender Pear white. There was a strong lavender undertone, but it was balanced pretty well by the sweetness of the white wine. If you love lavender, definitely try this. As you may know, Spitz has amazing döners, but what appeals to me is that there are significantly healthy options here. I got the döner salad with chicken, which is a huge salad with delicious crispy garbanzo beans, tzaziki, some spicy sauce, veggies, etc(I’m getting hungry thinking about it). Suffice it to say, it’s a delicious salad and it’s substantial enough to share. My boyfriend got the mixed meat döner which he said was delicious, and we shared the Berliner fries. If you don’t love onions, maybe ask them to go easy on it as I still have onion breath 18 hours later. I still prefer the streetcart fries over anything on the menu, but the Berliner fries were also tasty. Parking can be rough if you are getting there during busy hours, but the good news is that once you are parked, you can walk to get dessert on the same street as there are several froyo and ice cream places(we went to Jeni’s, my current addiction). They also have Trivia on Tuesdays at 8!

I fell in love with Spitz many years ago at their Eagle Rock location. I don’t know why I don’t come often and treat myself. Must change this fact, must practice more self-love in the form of fries and IPAs. It was my first time at Spitz Los Feliz with my awesome Unilocal turned real-life friend Julienne D. We decided to stop by for happy hour prior to the Unilocal Elite Event over at Jeni’s and what a good idea this was! Not that busy at all when we went. I appreciate that every Spitz has their own unique set up going on; I like Los Feliz’s. Plenty of tables/seats + sweet bar area. I definitely want to come back and grab a drink during happy hour again. Super chill hang out spot, not so chill parking sitch. Decided on a Stone IPA on tap while Julienne D. had a White Sangria. I’m such a lightweight so I was already feeling that IPA after five sips or so. Didn’t help that I hadn’t eaten all day that day either! We also shared an order of their most famous Street Cart Fries and Fried Pita Strips and Hummus, both of which are on their happy hour menu. Oh boy, ya can’t go wrong with Spitz’s Street Cart Fries. This is fact. These fries, man, these fries. They’re like a party in your mouth. Perfectly done and fresh-off-the-fryer fries that are covered in a mix of green peppers, tomatoes, black olives, red onions, crumbled feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce. I am addicted! The Pita Strips and Hummus are also fab. Don’t think these are a healthy happy hour alternative because you’re wrong. These pita strips are fried and greasy, yet excellent. I like that they gave us two sides of hummus and we didn’t even ask. Much appreciated, Spitz. If ya still haven’t been to Spitz, a trip is definitely in order. And remember: those Street Cart Fries are an absolute must.

One of the closest renditions to Döner in SoCal that I’ve had away from Germany. Street Cart Fries are nice, but in the Döner, much better. I usually prefer the sandwich, but when I’ve come here I’ve gotten it as a wrap, which provided the excellent blend of spices and flavors on the meat, vegetables and dressing. Bar service was good, the space is nice, and the location makes it easier to find street parking within a couple of blocks than say, Little Tokyo’s location. I came here for a pre-concert bite before heading up to The Greek Theatre and another time to pick up a phone order on the way back home(also noticed a revamped art theme then). Always a good vibe at Spitz.

Always on some sort of trip and this one is called The Salad n Beer Chronicles. Spitz is one of those perfect spots for that. They offer some rad beer & sangria. Their doner salad is life & those street cart fries are everything!!! Order at the register, sit yo ass down & they’ll bring out the goods. Trust! Your Homegirl, Violy

To start I love the simplicity of the menu just 2 types of tacos with excellent ingredients the tortilla is really flavorful. They had so many different salsas there is one for every body you can add as much as you want on your tacos. The Agua Fresca and the orchata are really good. The attention is amazing the owner is a great who is always trying to making you feel at home. The ambiance it’s full of beach stuff and surf tables with art.

Phoned in my order for pickup. Ordered 2 of the crispy garbanzo & olives and 2 the beef & lamb döners. Aside from the photos on here, I personally didn’t know what a döner was, but soon realized it’s a gyro but in wrap form and very flavorful(hahaha hope this gives you a visual). So picked up the order during lunch rush hour and met w/my sister and we devoured these things. I personally think you can share one between two people bc it’s a generous portion. The crispy garbanzos and olives were fluffy, crunchy and seasoned just right. Tip if you want to enjoy a nice day, place an order for pick up and head to Barnsdall Park which is a short walk and have yourself a nice little picnic. From the park you can see the Hollywood hills, the Griffith Observatory and oversee most of the city of Hollywood. Enjoy!

I had some time to kill and I was hungry, so I stopped into Spitz to grab some street car fries. They’re crispy and covered in feta, yummy sauce and veggies. They come in a huge bowl, and even at my hungriest, I can’t finish them on my own. When I arrived at he bar, the server easily sold me on a spicy mango chelada. I’m not one to typically eat and drink at a bar alone, but they made me feel comfortable enough to do so. During past visits, I’ve tried the sausages and the sangria, which are both great. They have outdoor seating, but they cannot serve alcohol outdoors. They have games, bring your own vinyl night and more.

My second time eating at Spitz and im loving it! **Warning**Those street cart fries are an addiction! Out if all the locations i am assuming the Los Feliz one is the biggest? List— Located on Hillhurst It is spacious inside The bar area is tastefully decorated Plenty of tables/chairs to sit and munch Kitchen seems small Finding parking is a disaster Service could use a little help but I’m not complaining! I received two complementary cards for a free wrap or sandwich from any Spitz location.(considering the amount of time i waited for my food) Doner wraps — could use more sauce The fries are an addiction 3 other locations– Little Tokyo, Eagle Rock, and Studio City 2 Doner wraps and 2 street cart fries will set you around $ 40 Go enjoy!

I may have discovered a new favorite Mediterranean spot… The Chicken Döner kebab here is quite addicting. It’s actually calling to me as I write this review late at night in bed. It’s juicy, tangy, crunchy, zesty, just… Yes. I could see myself visiting here often if I lived nearby, and if it weren’t so warm out. I don’t feel like battling gnats again for my delicious kebab again, so I’ll wait until it cools down, and it’s on. *The gnats enjoy the open floor plan as much as I do, but they can have this battle for now.

I can’t believe its taken me this long to find time gem! This location is seriously the cutest. So pinterest-like! Perfect for a quick pit stop before heading to the Hollywood Bowl. If you’re craving a wrap or some yummy fries, come here! now! I had to get the specialty which was the Street Car Doner with gyro and the street cart fries. I didn’t think a wrap could be so tasty. The meat and sauces were a perfect pair and it didn’t feel super heavy with most yummy foods. My friend got the sweet potato fries and loved the chipotle mayo sauce that came with those, had to smother some of that on my wrap for good measure. I was only able to stomach half of my meal and packed the rest for the Bowl, which was a perfect idea. I will definitely be back to try all the other yummy goodness that Spitz has to offer!
