After about a year of goin here, still the same. Staff is really friendly and food, boba is still exceptional. Still a low key spot and a must try!(:

Okay so I’m a frequent visitor of this establishment, and I’m going to laud their service. It is seriously amazing. The family(?) that works here are always so kind and so welcoming. Sometimes they give me free tea or ice cream just because. Seriously some of the sweetest people you’ll meet. I’ve order dessert, drinks, and hot food here, and they’ve all been pretty great thus far. Their Korean food is great. It comes out hot and sizzling and it just warms you right up, like a hug on a plate. But I’m not here to talk about that, great as it was. I’ve since discovered a new love at Spoon since the price of shaved ice went up. Whatever you do, make sure you try the very berry waffle before you leave. I’m serious. I’ve honestly never had a waffle this frickin great before. The fruits are always sweet, it looks AMAZING and then it tastes better than it looks??? It’s also pretty big, and comes with a scoop or two of ice cream. I don’t have pictures to post because when it comes out, my friends and I are always too busy fighting over the waffle. But it looks like a dream. A chocolate syrup drizzled, whipped cream topped dream. And it tastes like a dream. Seriously. It was light and crispy and sweet. The fruits are slightly tart enough to be refreshing and it’s always served warm with whipped cream and ice cream on top. Literally such an experience.

Wanted boba after dinner, but also dessert for the kids. This place was really close, and had great reviews so we popped on in. Very warm and inviting décor, and it was empty so we sat at the huge table in the middle. I ordered the peach berry boba half sweet, the kids ordered milkshakes, a shaved snow for the adults, and a free 9 oz. tea with checking in on Unilocal.Flavor of the day was an apple tea. The shakes are really good, especially the salted caramel. My boba had a weird hibiscus taste and I did not care for the boba at all. Employees were really nice, especially to clean up a milkshake spill.

Every time I come here I like it more and more. I love the fact that I can get a smoothie with boba that’s made with real fruit and juices and not those powder crap you usually get from a boba tea place. Everything is fresh and made the day of! The people working here are all super nice. However, except for the owner lady, I can’t tell if the others can speak English that well. I usually just point to the menu if they look confused. Even so, they are usually very polite, not your usual rude Korean restaurant waitresses! Me likie! The food here is also superb! Love the spicy udon noodles and their Kimbap! There’s also free wifi if you need a place to chill and do some work. The only thing I need to complain about is that there’s no public bathroom!!! What the hell?! Luckily Starbucks few stores down will let you use the toilet so I didn’t pee my pants that one day when I really really had to pee and also really need to get some boba in my belly. This place is located across the street from Lola’s, and next to Game Stop.

One of best hidden jems! It’s one of those places you can recommend to your friends(strongly) for its food! They have special menu(not on menu) of the day that are so good. Apple Green Milk Tea is my favorite drink of all time, bestest ever. The waffles are great too! Only downside? No public restroom… :(

Quick review: High quality food, super friendly service! Try the veggie/fruit Sandwich. I know it sounds weird, but it is great. And I’m not even a vegetarian. I’ll be back for more. I’ve also tried: Smoothies: lemon berry and mango are both amazing. Waffles: very good! Cream puffs: note… must order a day in advance, but worth the wait. I just got back from France and I couldn’t find a better cream puff in the whole country. I have no doubt that everything on the menu receives the same attention to detail and quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back and often!

I’m not sure why this place is so highly rated. The place has a small café feel but I don’t think there’s anything special about it. This isn’t your normal place where you can do work either as it’s just too dark. The desserts and drinks are very overpriced. I wanted to try their shaved ice and it was over 7 dollars without any toppings… It wasn’t even particularly good either. Each of the drinks were like $ 5 so that’s a deal breaker too.

If only waffle Wednesday was everyday, then I could get dessert for dinner every night. My friend Tim started the Waffle Wednesday tradition, however I secretly think he loves any excuse to eat dessert as much as I do! First time I came here I got a Taro shaved ice. I’d say it was one of the better shaved ices I have had before but not the best. I returned for a second visit for waffle Wednesday. I ordered a tuna sandwich that was rich with flavor, however it most definitely had a million calories. It was soaked in mayonnaise and filled with deliciousness. However, this is not something I would order on a regular basis. I also ordered the Berry waffle which was definitely a home run. It was hot, fresh and right off the grill. It has fresh berries on top, with a perfect amount of butter, syrup and ice cream. It was one of the better waffles I have tasted. This is a small place located in a strip mall, but lucky for us there is lot of parking available. Service was good which always makes the experience better. Tip-You get a free ice tea with check in and there is a punch card available when you’re paying in cash.

What a ripoff. The staff is unfriendly and they look at you like you’re an idiot. For a simple bowl of snow with condensed milk and mochi, it was $ 9. Seriously? I can get so much more at a place like North Pole or Blockheads. I don’t recommend.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s good. The waffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I had the waffle with berries, topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It is a dish that 2 or more could share depending on how hungry you are. Be sure to check in as they have an iced tea incentive. They can accommodate larger parties at the center table and they offer outside sidewalk seating as well. Parking can be a little of a challenge, but there is plenty of street parking available — just watch your signs. A small, yet important detail. .. Use the restroom BEFORE you enter. They do not have a public one.

ambiance//**** great lighting for studying… the décor is a cross between random autographed head shots and cute artwork service//** obscenely slow… it took almost 30 minutes to get our order when there was no one there dessert//** the reason it took so long is because their shaved ice is beautifully plated and painstakingly put together normally this attention to detail would be a plus… except my friend is allergic to tropical fruits um so albeit small and almost negligible pieces of mangoes made it into the shaved ice =X luckily i’m not allergic and saved the day by eating it all… ~*~ it’s a nice place if you have LOADS of time to spare…

Was pleasantly surprised by this recommendation from Unilocal!Desserts are on the pricey side, but it’s well worth the money. Got the Earl Grey shaved ice by itself and a berry waffle. The earl grey shaved ice was dense and very flavorful. We couldn’t figure out what would pair well with the flavor, but it was fine by itself. The waffle was the highlight. Perfectly crispy(we think they bake it followed by a quick fry because it was crispy and slightly airy… but who knows). Every bite through the entire dessert was delicious. There’s plenty of free parking in the lot, especially at night when all the other stores are closed. Go check it out!

Jessica c from elsewhere in the reviews recommended this place and I’ve been here twice already even though it’s a little further away from where I’m usually at. but it’s so good here — the drinks and food. I’ve ordered various things off the menu and everyone of them has been a hit — which is a hard feat to achieve. staff is cool too because they remember you and are very courteous.

Ok, so this spot we just so happen to decide on visiting«just because». well low and behold it turned out to be very very good. We had the coconut shaved ice with strawberry ice cream and it was soooo good. It wasn’t too sweet or too bland at all. One serving was enough for both of us to share too. Also, we ended up getting the milk tea and apparently its made fresh which gives it a different taste than what I have had before. Next time I will rather not share(sorry wifey). The interior of this location was real nice and quiet. They also open late and have plenty of food options which looked good which is a big plus. I will be back to try other things, but definitely want my milk tea again. BIGPLUS– They have plenty of parking, not sure if its the time we went but at least we didn’t only have the option of street parking.

Came across this shaved ice spot because we were craving both boba and shaved ice… sooo bingo!!! They have one of the BEST milk tea boba I’ve ever tasted. Now I’ve had milk tea boba almost everywhere and I have to say that the taste you get here is just outstanding(very unique taste to it). It didn’t taste like any artificial flavors. We also got the coconut milk shaved ice soo yummy I also recommend getting it with the mochi ice cream, annnd with the coconut jelly. I want to go back to have the waffle which I heard from an employee there that it’s pretty bomb! :)

After a day of dress shopping my friends and we needed to refuel. My friend said she had been following this business on Instagram and that everyday they had a new menu. Intrigued we headed over. We arrive at a small café. It looked like a boba shop. 00 Giving her the benefit of the the doubt we sit down and the waitress hands us the menu. Looking it up and down I only see drinks. Whats going on? We ask the waitress and she pulls up a little post it note and tells us what they have on the menu today. They have maybe five options. We order and sit back and wait eagerly. We ordered the : Pan Roast: I’ve had my fair share of pan roasts. I’ve tried it in Vegas, Costa Mesa, & Huntington Beach. I KNOW what pan roast should taste like so I was very skeptical this small café could produce something like the ones I’ve tried. While Spoon By H had a different approach to what they wanted their pan roast to taste like it was actually AMAZING. Beautiful presentation. Excellent taste. Very generous with the seafood. Excellent. Their pan roast wasn’t as creamy as the ones I’ve tried but it was so amazing. Clam & Shrimp Pasta: Again very generous with the seafood and the taste was amazing as well. A couple of my friends messaged me privately about this dish because the picture I posted on Instagram was so pretty. I am in no way trying to say my photography skills are good but that the dish itself was so beautiful. Had to give them the thumbs up and tell them to hurry and call Spoon By H because the dish might not be available anymore. Coffee Ice — Ice Coffee — While we were finishing up the waitress brought us three complimentary espresso cups with little ice cubes shaped like coffee beans. She explained the ice cubes were made with coffee. It was so delicious and I’m not even a huge fan of coffee. My friend who is an addict bought another one to-go. I cant wait to come back to try the other dishes. Instagram: marie_minhee_yoon

We came here around 2:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon and we thought the shop wasn’t open because there were no customers and the lights were mostly turned off and there was no one standing at the cashier. But the door was wide open so we knew they had to be open for business. Immediately after we walked in someone came out to help us out. E N V I R O N M E N T: The environment here is very warm and home-y because of the wooden walls, tables, and chairs. They also have paintings and pictures hanging around. This place is good for big and small groups because they have one big table in the middle that can seat a lot of people and smaller tables on the side that can seat 2 – 4 people. F O O D: We ordered an Earl Grey Shaved Snow, Boba drink, and Berry Waffle to share. The shaved snow was pretty good – the shaved snow itself doesn’t come with toppings, only condensed milk, so we added mangoes and almonds. I found it odd that the almonds came in a separate bowl and we had to sprinkle it on ourselves… I guess it’s because the mango was overfilling so there was no space? The boba drinks here great because they are not sweet(healthier option!) and the boba texture is very interesting because it’s super super chewy. The berry waffle was a killer – it was so freaking good. I don’t think I’ve ever had a waffle like this before. It was super light and chewy – you didn’t need a knife to cut it, a fork can easily do the job. I’m not sure how to explain this waffle but it’s a must get in my book! S E R V I C E: This service here is average – owners were friendly and courteous. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a cup of free tea! This place uses real tealeaves and has a lot of options(mostly fruit teas) to choose from.

This shaved snow was soooo fluffy and light and delicious. Asked for the extra milky with mango on top. The mango was so sweet! My friend ordered the waffle which was beautiful and tasty. Nice and crispy. The boba was soft and chewy. Perfect balance.
