Star Express Mini Mart

This mart is way over-​priced and the food selection is skimpy, yet horrible. I had to give up trying to buy any sort of prepared food there, it was always bad. The low point was an egg salad sandwich I grabbed one time. When I got home, I found it had already been opened then re-​wrapped loosely in cling wrap! Gaaah. You’d be better off at Margaritas down the corner, where you can at least see them prepare the food, plus they now take ATMs.
Or go to JJ’s on 6^th in the Santa Fe building. They sell yummy freshly prepared food, plus some other basic items, cigs, alta seltzer etc. They also take cards.
To me the only reason to have gone to Star Express was that they took plastic. They’re not the only ones around here that do that anymore.
Update: these people are out. Management saw my Unilocal review and assured me they have a better tenant lined up.
