We had the displeasure of calling this business as they are on the list of uhaul vehicle providers. The woman was so rude it was unbelievable. We were on the phone about 15 seconds, hardly taking up much time… she acted annoyed that we had even called and told us she needed to help ‘actual’ customers. Besides getting the uhaul, we would have ‘actually’ tried this place out for nursery items… Not now. I joined Unilocal just to give this review… thats how rude she was.

I don’t understand why this place has any bad reviews I think they’re super awesome they’re always really helpful and their prices can’t really be beat anywhere else I totally recommend going there. Plus the seem to always have everything I need or they are able to get it for me.

I called and spoke with a nice woman about a certain item and she was very helpful so after work I made the 25 minute drive out there… they close at 8 and I got there at 7:55 and walked up and he had shut the place down and was out the door leaving and told me they were closed. If you post your hours to close at 8, then you need to keep the doors unlocked, lights on, and open sign lit up UNTIL 8. I left very upset, but still came back the next evening because I desperately needed this item. I walk in and was greeted by the woman, after I couldn’t find the item I was looking for I approached the front desk where the couple was standing and chatting. they acted annoyed that I interrupted their conversation and it felt extremely uncomfortable. Definitely not going back. I went home and found the thing I needed at Hydro Galaxy in Burbank and received much better service.

Not so great. I went here to buy some pesticide for some shrubs in my yard that were being eaten by some insect. I took a sample of the plant with me. The employees didn’t know what the shrub was or what to recommend. This was not an exotic plant. I asked to leave the sample for the owner and to have them call me to let me know what I could purchase. Never heard back from anyone. Waste of time.

i like this place a lot. much better for me than atwater or hollywood. i also dont know what that other guy is talking about. they gave me great tips on my vegetable garden issues of PM as well as seed germination. i didn’t feel pressured to buy or like i was keeping him from anything else. i have also called a few times with questions and had very positive experience.

Awesome place, great service and well-​versed staff! I always find what I’m looking for and if it’s not there, the staff is always quick to place an order and call me when it’s available. They treat every customer like a part of the family, which is a great plus! Very very dog friendly, something you wouldn’t expect but it’s always nice to know I can take my dog on my hydro errands.

this is an ok enough store if you just need to pick up a few supplies now and then. the sales people though… they were friendly and helpful, offering advice and products as if they knew what they were talking about. Turns out, they don’t. The esheg that runs the place is more than happy to sell you tons of stuff you don“t need and that will actually be detrimental. Go here only if you already know what you’re doing, and don’t be swayed by sales persuasion. We needlessly wasted hundreds of dollars thanx to their baseless advice.
as for all the «GOOD» reviews, i have no doubt they’re writing these themselves or having friends post them. Ask them questions, you’ll see, they know nothing.

pretty nice shop it is well stocked and ppl here are very knowledgeable about what they sell. lots of choices and guys here will actually educate you on how to save on ur set up. nutrients, lights trays and pumps, i got a awesome deal. i also got some freebie nutrients that they threw in.
The backside parking is a plus too.
Will be back here for sure.
@ John’s previous post of 1 star… im not sure what happened to you here but all i have to say is … go in to check it out for yourself and make your own opinion, bc id say its far from 1 star. i had a very positive experience here

The worst Hydro store I ever had the displeasure of wasting my time in. Marked up products, guys who work there know NOTHING about their products at all, every time they have to go to the computer and look it up. These guys opened up in 2008 taking advantage of the Gold rush and it completely shows. If you call on the phone they will not help you, and they frustrated cause they really know nothing and tell you to just come on in. Google Hydroponic stores near your area and find ANY OTHER place and avoid this place AT ALL COSTS
