Luv this place. Real mom and pop stuff. Only a few blocks from convention center. Liked my dinner so much I ordered breakfast and lunch for next day. Parking spots out front. Everything g taste super home made. What’s lacking in atmosphere they make up in food. Soo good. Order whatever is cooking on the stove and u can’t go wrong.

Surprisingly good. Tacos Bravo looks like a place from another country as a little strip mall restaurant serving Mexican, Guatemalan and Salvadorean food. I only had the tacos and soft tortillas wrapped around better-than-most quality chicken impressed me. Not amazingly flavorful and the salsa isn’t worth writing home about. Here’s what makes it four stars instead of three, the price. $ 1.50 per taco.

Stuffed carne chili relleno is delicious! Pork and cheese pupusa with Jamaica is so good. Guatemalan food. Flor is the sweetest ever! It’s right next to the convention center with great prices!

I found this place on Unilocal… Looking for great tacos in the 90015 area. I started to go to LUCY’s but something sent me here instead… They both came up on Unilocal… Same distance. 3 or 4 blocks away… This was the best chicken burrito that I have ever had. No LIE. HANDSDOWN, UP, SIDEWAYS however you want to put it… The 2 chicken tacos. DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSS… I will definately be back. I’ve passed this place for the last 11 years and I have been missing out… Thank you for Unilocal.Taco Bravo is truly a hidden Gem for me and my family. I have been searching high and low for a place to buy good, filling, authentic, tacos and burritos… Also my husband and family… And to find out that the best tacos and burritos are right around the corner… Now I see why I didnt go Lucy’s way… No other taco/burrito place will ever get my money again… I’m banging TACOBRAVO till the fullest!!! Great home made Mexican food. Hard tacos to die for. The beans are refried to perfection. The wet burritos are so flavorful. Huge in size. Great salsa bar. Trying to try all the dishes. Really down to earth causal dining. Come as you are no need to dress up. The prices are so unbelievable cheap.

The Grilled Fish Filet with Ranchero sauce was really good. I usually go to Subway next door but wanted to try something different. For less than $ 8 it was a great meal. I would definitely try more of their recommendations.

Food is decent here, but don’t come here during your company lunch break. The service is slooooooooow. As Fu@k!!! Waited 50 minutes for four tacos…

Not bad for a easy bite especially when you’re working all day at or near the convention center. A short brisk walk and you’re there, just don’t mind the occasional looney bum under the bridge. I ordered pupusas and a burrito, although the wait was a little long it tasted pretty good! I’ll give 4 stars because the price is definitely right. Beware, the wait is a little obnoxious.

My favorite latino food in LA seriously. This place is like being in the proverbial«grandmas kitchen». Literally a mom and pop shop. Everything is made to order and delicious. It has the best Sopes I’ve ever eaten. The garlic shrimp is to die for. the rice is not your typical«spanish rice», its a fluffy seasoned white rice and the beans are a mixture of refried mexican and soup beans. Its simple and incredible at the same time. The pupusas are excellent. I never go without taking some for home. I believe this place calles itself Salvadorian although the couple that owns it are from Guatemala. They cook the usual burritos and tacos also which are as solid as anything. I’ve had the menu over the years. I give it 5 stars although they take a long time. The food is so good the time they take not a big enough deal to take away a star. The prices are cheap to reasonable. I always call ahead even if I’m eating in. I highly recommend that. Its a small place I think I counted one day and they had 16 seats. Some days everything may not be available because its such a small place and they keep everything fresh. the silverware may not always match. If this is a big deal to you please don’t go. Actually maybe you should go because you need some culture in your life and this place has plenty but its not overly dramatic.

Mom &Pop shop in a little center next to the Los Angeles Convention Center. Everything is made from scratch so even if the place is empty it might take some time to be ready so I would phone order if you can. I have tried the asada burrito and tacos and both were really good. The prices and portions are good and the have everything from pupusas to hamburgers. They are open until 9:00p.m. Parking is not the best so expect to park on the street.

I ordered a torta here one day before work because I didn’t feel like eating Subway again. I ordered one with carne asada and it was cheap enough. One of the plusses from the torta was definitely the freshness of the bread, meat and veggies. This was easily the healthiest tasting mexican food I may have ever eaten. Why 3 stars you say? Well the torta was ridiculously skimpy. There was barely any meat in the torta and it made me really disappointed. I thought I had found a new place that I would eat at before work, but I just don’t think I would be convinced to come back here for mexican food. I may try some of the other dishes they had if I have more time, but I was only one of three people here, and they couldn’t hook it up with more meat in a torta. I am not sure if I’d come back.

The food is good here. The people are super friendly and the food is made fresh while you watch. However, you have to be ready to wait since everything is made fresh. They are not ready to handle a large crowd. It is a tiny place with great authentic taste. I am willing to go here when we have a lot of time to spend waiting. We usually order the tacos and burritos. FYI, they only take cash.

If you want authentic Central American food, this is the place! Taco Bravo specializes in Cocido de res(Beef Soup), my personal favorite, Chile Rellenos(Stuffed Chili Peppers), don’t worry they are not hot! Authentic Breakfasts like: Huevos rancheros with a homemade tomato sauce and onions, re fried beans w/sour cream, and make sure you get platanitos or maduros(Fried plantains) with your breakfast! It compliments it so well! And of course, two perfectly cooked homemade tortillas that will fill you up to the brim!
