Damn good tacos. Your very typical(in a good way) Mexican food. Combo plate with bean rice and chips and two tacos came in at $ 10 which was fair for portion size. I liked this place since it was fast and«authentic» to that LA taco spot vibe. Quality of carnitas and carne asana was decent and portions were adequate. Salsas were nice and spicy. Did not disappoint!

I got the California Burrito with the fries on the side. It was very good. I like the flour tortilla used and the asada was done right! Chips were also good!

After ordering a breakfast sandwich, 5 Hispanic men all ordered breakfast burritos… 5 minutes after me. I watched my food get prepped and ready to go and then placed aside while each man received their burrito in no time. I don’t think I need to go in depth in what kind of customer service that was. But I can assure you that I will never go back to any Tacos Por Favor again, after that incident. I will be sure to spread the word.

Nice authentic Mexican spot on the west side. They do their menu well and with generous potions. The self serve salsa bar is always a great addition. If you want good food at a good price with no frills, this is your spot.

Their quesadilla is so damn good! Salsa verde and their guacamole is made just RIGHT. Definitely coming back here.

I eat here all the time, and they have great food. I would give them a 5, but they can never get a call in or online order right. They are always, and I am not exaggerating, missing something. Of course they correct it, but I never feel like the one they make is that great. A «last minute» toss together. Other than that, they have some of the best tasting Mexican food on the west side… just order when you get there.

If you can walk here the better as the tiny parking lot is shared among 4 – 5 other restaurants. The place is small; but the menu is great. I came around 130pm and it was a pretty packed restaurant. Three of us ordered 3 soft tacos each. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos. They were excellent. The tortillas were perfectly grilled and the content was perfectly proportioned. This is a magical trait for them. The shrimp were perfectly grilled and juicy. The salsa bar had a few options. I went with the chipotle. I grabbed the big ladle and poured myself a good helping. The tables outside were clean and ready for use. The guacamole was only so so. I guess making it in bulk it didn’t possess any wow factor. There are no trash cans outside; so we had to bring the empty plates and tray back inside. It would be cool to have one there so to not mix with the traffic. Overall a great place. I’m definitely going to be venturing here for lunch next time I’m in the area.

I really could eat Tacos Por Favor every day. It’s cheap, fast, and so good. I’ve gotten everything from burritos to taquitos and it never disappoints.

I’ve gotten lunch here a few times during work(office right next door!) and the food is pretty decent. I’ve enjoyed the following: 1. Carne asada taco(both hard shell and soft shell) 2. Potato burrito(if you LOVE potatoes, you will love this!) 3. Chicken breast torta with fries 4. Spanish rice Don’t quite like their quesadillas. I’ve had the carne asada one as well as the chicken quesadilla, and there’s just something off about them. If you want to avoid the long lines, come before 11:30am. Or call in, then pick up later.

If you haven’t had a California burrito, let me be the first to tell you that it will rock your world. An ordinary carne asada burrito pimped out with french fries, this is the staple food that got me through my college years in San Diego. The ones at Tacos Por Favor are even better than the ones down south, with exceptionally tasty carne asada, fresh fries, and a really yummy tortilla. And with guacamole, they simply can’t be beat. Get one today!

This place is delicious. Seriously. I had heard good things, but really wasn’t expecting too much from a casual taco place. But, wow. So good! Definitely go for the hard tacos. I usually don’t like hard tacos, but these ones are different. The taco shell is light and crisp, nothing like those terrible storebought shells, and they pile a TON of ingredients on top! Guacamole, sour cream, cheese, pico de gallo, etc. It’s awesome. I definitely plan on coming back. Literally, as much as possible. Like, maybe every day.

THEBESTBREAKFASTBURRITOIVEEVERHAD. The burritos are simple(potato, cheese, egg, meat) but perfectly done. Great size… not too filling. I would recommend the sausage, it’s buttery and delicious.

Stopped here for a post-tournament meal after convincing the rest the car it would be a good idea. On the off chance someone in your party hates tacos — I know, wtf right? — this Tacos Por Favor is located in a strip mall with several other restaurant options. My boyfriend and I ordered seven tacos and two horchatas between us, which came to about $ 30. Not the cheapest, but everything tasted pretty fresh and the tacos were generously sized.

Came in the other day and got 2 chicken hard tacos & side of chips & guac. Tacos were stellar! Chips well seasoned. I’ll definitely be returning to get more chicken tacos.

I can tell that this is the neighborhood spot for mexican food. We ordered the shrimp burrito, al pastor taco, and chips. The burrito was loaded with fresh shrimp and a refreshing salsa fresca. The taco was filled with a gracious amount of pastor. Price was pretty reasonable – not the cheapest – not expensive by any means – about $ 13 total. If im in the area and i feel like mexican food i will definitely stop here. Also, next time i go here i will try the menudo.

If I wanted a crappy taco, I’d make it myself. If I wanted a better taco, I’d go Taco Bell. Yeah, I went there. This $ 3 dollar al pastor taco was overwhelmingly average for that kind of a price tag. At least they do pack the little taco with meat. The sauces were really spicy and the tomato salsa didn’t taste very fresh. The chips just reminded me of Chipotle’s salt-dusted, lime-scented ones. This meal felt like God was punishing me for choosing something other than Chipotle. Each bite was a reminder of how everything else is inferior and nothing will ever compare and God Bless Chipotle.
Perched in Westside plaza, this inconspicuous Spanish restaurant has a lot of heart. Prices are a bit high for a taco spot, but it comes back to you with great service. Watermelon fresca was great, albeit a bit too sweet and the al pastor taco was just ok. There was barely any cilantro and onions on my taco. Like, damn near zero. That kinda irked me. The salsa/pico de gallo was downright meh. Pork tasted great, but for a 3 dollar taco there should have had more substance there, whether meat or veggies. 3⁄5NOMS but bonus star for good service from the teenager.

Living in Los Angeles, I love good authentic Mexican food, I was excited to try Tacos Por Favor, I’ve heard a lot about it, unfortunately I wasn’t overly impressed. First off, I found the staff really grumpy, the tacos were good and tasty but expensive for the fast food atmosphere. For four tacos and a sope the check came out to be almost $ 19.00, that did not include drinks or rice and beans, just a handful of chips. My conclusion, good tacos, nothing mind-blowing a little pricey for what you get.

The biggest thing this place has going for itself is its proximity to my work. Located on a plaza full of other choices, each deserving its own review, it offers a quick bite for a reasonable price. I suppose the other benefit is consultancy. The meat will always be over-cooked; proteins in general will be dry and lack any pizazz whatsoever. The salsa will be one note and the salsa station will most definitely be dirty. No matter what you choose, your order will come out quick and you will leave satiated. Will it be the most amazing gustatory experience of your life? Probably not, but you may return in a week hoping for better. See you in line.
