Decent selection and organized but expect a quite rude owner & WAY overpaying. Too expensive to even make sense of it.

Huge store, huge selection of trims, purse findings, appliques, etc. They’re pretty well organized, too, by type of trim, so you don’t need to cruise the ENTIRE place if you’re just looking for basic fringe, etc.
However, it’s 4 stars instead of 5 because the prices aren’t competitive — there’s the entire fabric district outside, and you guys aren’t willing to haggle when I want 20 yards of bog-​standard guimp braid? Fine, I’ll get that somewhere else.
Of course, if you want short cuts of anything (like, less than ten yards), don’t even try to haggle, ’cause they ain’t interested. Fair enough.
So it’s a place I go to AFTER I’ve been to the other trim places on Maple. If I can’t find it at Trim 2000 or whatever, I’ll go to Target. To be fair, I did indeed find something that I wasn’t able to locate, elsewhere. And if you like to make accessories, this might be the only place in the district that you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. This is my last resort shop if my other shop that I am a regular at like trim 2000 on maple doesn’t have what I need. The woman owner is horrible! She wanted to charge me same price as a full roll of elastic. She is there to screw anyone that will let them. If you haven’t shopped on maple then you know they are almost double in price then other trim stores I cannot believe people put up with her. Worst customer service ever, she was trying to screw a lady right after me, trying to make a few more dollars off her. I recommended another shop to her because we talked prior and the lady flipped her lid. I cannot believe she is still in business. SO RUDE! To the lady owner Work on your customer service and try not to screw everyone that walks through your doors! Because eventually people won’t be walking through them anymore.

Probably one of the most organized shops i’ve seen in the fashion district. Has ribbon and also appliqué, single flower things (not sure of terminology: P). Most of the ribbon is heavily embellished with sequins and beading or print. Not what I was looking for that day but fun to look at nonetheless!

This place is a trim heaven. HUGE store with even a bigger selection. The customer service is ok, I mean it aint no Saks Fifth Avenue. But regardless, you will find everything that you need here and you might even get lost in the store. Highly recommended!!!

Not really sure where the bad reviews are coming from. It’s DTLA. You have to ask for help. I’ve been there a few times, and she usually charges me less than the total I was racking up with the employees. She gave me a great deal on this rope because I bought almost 100 yards of it. This place is huge, total mecca. SO much cheaper than Joann or Michaels, it’s unbelievable.

I wish there was a 0 I could give. I went to buy trim for my wedding dress and literally the lady who owns the store was just chatting with her friend the whole time and told workers not to help me because I came in not knowing what I wanted. She actually told them not to show me anything else because I was there for 7 minutes and didn’t buy anything. Horrible customer service and all the trims had rhinestones missing and were falling apart. There is a store next door where the people are way more helpful with better quality trims. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW AND FELT I NEED TO WARN EVERYONE!!!

This place is huge, lots of trim, great. The young man who helped me, nice. The woman who ran me up HORRIBLE! She was rule and loud I still can’t believe how rude she was!
Her employee misquoted a price to me and instead of being humble and apologizing, she started yelling at me that she was not responsible for what her employees say! She said she owned the store and she sets the prices. I said that was fine, but I was quoted something different. Either she give me the price I was quoted or I was going to walk out. My question to her was, did you want me to walk out over a dollar? Under civilized circumstances, I would have just paid it, but she started the transaction yelling at me, so I stood my ground!
I will never go back! I will tell the person who recommended this place to me all about this horrible lady!
