I had the pleasure of trying Thai Eagle Rox for the first time today. I had an idea of what I wanted based on visting other Thai restaurants. When I called to place my order, the(very knowledgeable) woman on the other end was very nice and told me my order would be delivered within 45 min… to my surprise I got my order in less than 20 min!!! And my order was DELICIOUS! My first experience was SUPERB, and definitely not the last time I give them my business.

Speedy delivery and the best local Pad Thai. Easy to order and pay using the Eat Street app. Yummy!

How do you screw up steamed rice? Make it soggy as heck that’s how. I’ve picked up and gotten delivery from here before and been pretty satisfied overall. Today on top of soggy rice we didn’t get any utensils or straws for our drinks. Come on guys you have a B grade don’t drop the service too

I made an error in my order and they were very gracious in bringing me the one desired. Fabulous delicious Tom ka veggie soup. Thank you Thai Eagle Rox.

2 stars received for quick and accurate delivery. Food was blan, Pad Thai had no spice(ordered spicy), shrimp spring roll had marginal flavor but was falling apart so I was unable to enjoy them. The search for a quality Thai restaurant near Eagle Rock continues. Will never order again!

Solid choice for dining in or carryout. Food is on point, as is the service. Prices are affordable and the ambiance is welcoming. Also have a nice patio/garden to enjoy the nice weather. This is a regular spot for my wife and I when we don’t feel like cooking and don’t want to break the bank.

I come here with my parents sometimes since we all love Thai food. Their food selection is decent. One of my favorites here is the yellow curry with brown rice. Yummmmmmmmm! I usually find parking on the side of the place.

I went to Occidental a few blocks away and this was my favorite Thai spot. I haven’t found a green curry I like as much as theirs. Delivery time was always as expected, and my take-out food was always ready on time.

I’m lucky to live down the street from this place. I have dined in a couple times(and it does have a nice outdoor patio and the food comes hot and fresh) but I usually order take out or delivery. A solid Thai restaurant with great variety. Of course, the pad thai, pad kee mow, larb, angel wings, satay, and tom kahr and other basics are good. But I recommend trying some different things too. My favorites include: — fish and eggplant green curry(and make sure to get the sticky rice) — yum tofu salad(which really is «yum» and I am avid meat eater) — moo dad(marinated fried pork with a spicy lime sauce; this one is always good but sometimes spectacular — maybe different chefs?) — eggplant salad(has shrimp!) — Thai Eagle Rox noodle soup(so much good stuff in here) I’ve always had great service.

Wow you know I’m dissapointed that I had to download this app to make my first Unilocal review ever. They butchered my order gave me the wrong food non of the dishes had chicken like they were suppose too. Forgot my soup and hung up on me when I complained. now I have 35 $ of the wrong food and non of it is any good. I have been coming here for about 7 years or more. only had small issues prior was sometimes I felt food was a little undercooked and they would fix it. But today I ordered for pick up tom yum kai, house special crunchy noodle, yellow chicken curry, and fried wontons. When we brought the food home realized we were one soup container short. I was mistaken that it was the crunchy noodle sauce but after going back and picking one up and coming home we actually opened all the containers to eat and realized it was our soup that was missing and all the items we ordered were suppose to have chicken in them not a single piece of chicken in my curry. My soup was missing and they gave me vegetable only sauce for the noodles instead of with ground chicken. So I call them again to tell them I don’t have a single piece of chicken and 2 orders of the wrong crunchy noodles and no soup. They said«well the noodles and the soup cost the same so were even» and insisted that my curry has chicken in it. That they«can not keep making me food for free». I asked just for the food I ordered and paid for that’s all. They said they cant help me amd hung up. So now I have 35 $ worth of the wrong order food. I have chickenless Yellow chicken curry and the crunchy noodles are literally the worse crunchy noodles I’ve ever had and im stuck with so much of it now. Over all the service was rude this is negative upon the whole staff from who takes the orders to who prepped and packaged my food to the management who refuse to admit or even consider they messed up. And definitely to the girl who hung up on me when I was explaining what was wrong just repeated there is chicken in it over me talking and hung up. The beat like was we can’t make sure everything it’s right all the time we get rely busy. I’m never coming here again. And I’ll né sure to tell my close family and friends to do the same.

I had a really dissapointing take out experience. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai DInner, which is Pad Thai, a small underwhelming wedge of lettuce with some mayo dressing, and a limp spring roll. The Pad Thai was all one orange color. The flavor was mild, lack luster, and left a foul aftertaste. They were pretty stingy with the shrimp as well. I also ordered the Green Curry, which had some more flavor than the Pad Thai, but still disappointing. There was no rice to accompany the dish which would have been nice to soak it up with. They have a really nice patio out back if you do decide to try this place out, unfortunately I can’t recommend it, as I didn’t feel good after eating or during.

I have been dining here for years and have yet to have a bad experience. It’s sad that my favorite Thai restaurant has some poor reviews. Unfortunately not everyone knows Thai food and has nothing better to do that to complain. Seriously you’re reviewing the«brown rice» and saying it’s just average… I really don’t know what to say. Lol. Let me make this simple for anyone questioning to try this place. ORDERTHIS: –fried papaya salad — moo dad(basically divide pork jerky with a spicy sauce on the side) — bbq beef — Larb chicken — pad Thai shrimp — make sure you squeeze that lime on it! — duck curry and white or brown rice — some sticky rice(the not sweet one to eat with the moo dad and larb) — sweet and sour chicken I PROMISEYOUWON’T BEDISAPPOINTED. These are all my favorites from here ! Prices are fair, quality is obvious, and service is on point. Great place for large parties on the patio. The parking lot is small, but you can double park. There are also plenty of doses available on other side of ave 46.

Thai Eagle Rox is one of my favorite restaurants in town. It’s true, they do Thai food. Red, green, yellow curries, spicy eggplant, noodles and soups… all of those magical staples full of jungle vegetation; a concert of textures and flavors delivered like vines and fungi to our sleepy, darkened quarters. Fork in bed, love in head, never ending cream of coconut crop. Scale the moistened tree carefully, sense the pulsing life activity within. Part the leaves attentively, anything lays beyond, maybe milk and honey. Fatty bubbles swim like insects in the broth, hugging the contour of the blades and stalks, awakening the pores that slowly issue shiny sheets of golden sweat. Everything melting now in practiced unity, a swirly innovation. Pretty sexy food.

Basic fare you get at any thia place, but it’s very reasonable and fast. Like the staff waitress at lunch is effective and friendly. The waiter in the evenings is exceptional. So over all the food is good the price is cheap and service does well.

I used to like this place more but either the quality has slipped or my taste is now better. We stopped by on a Saturday night around 10:30 after a lot of other places had closed. I ordered from the car and was told it would be 15 minutes. We got there in about 10 and the food was ready– probably a sign that it’s getting reheated or something. Brown rice– average; decently flavored with salt Green curry w/fried tofu– $ 8. The broth just seemed like coconut milk with almost nothing else! I asked for it to be spicy but it was pretty mild and I didn’t see the chili flakes I usually do with other places. The curry had bamboo shoots and bell peppers. Pretty bland and disappointing. Egg rolls– $ 6,slightly greasy, and very over poked on the inside. It was all mush with no other texture. The service was fine although they didn’t give me any chili sauce in the bag. I asked for some and the girl misunderstood and told me she already put it in. When we got home, there was only soy sauce but luckily we have some at home. This will be my last time here.

Writing this as I finish my Chicken Pad Thai at 11:46pm. Thai Eagle Rox is now open until 1:30am on Friday and Saturday! You also get a free 12oz Thai Tea with an order of $ 12 or more between 11pm-1:30am. Very cool!(Side note: closing time is good for delivery, dine-in, and pick up orders.) My Chicken Pad Thai was delicious! The peanut sauce was sweet and tangy. The white meat chicken was plentiful. Of course you have your fixings: peanut crumbs, bean sprouts, shredded carrots, red cabbage, and green onions. I’ve been looking for a spot closer to home that serves good pad thai. Happy to report… found it! My sister got the beef fried rice and she loves it. She’s picky, so that’s a good sign. The staff was super friendly even for it being late in the night. I appreciated their smiles and candor. It seems they’re looking to build on customers so stop by and give them a try! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also, you can’t really see it from the street, but they have a surprisingly beautiful and spacious patio in the back decorated nicely with lights and greenery. Thank you night crew! You’ve earned a new customer. See you soon!

It’s odd to read the bad reviews about the food because I love the food here. I usually have dinner here 2 – 3 month so I wouldn’t say I’m lucky, I’d say they are consistent. The veggie dishes have been great(pad se ew, Tom kha soup, yellow curry and prik king are favs.) Delivery is quick and easy especially when ordering through Unilocal. The restaurant is quaint and the staff are friendly. I’ll continue to be a loyal customer.

2015 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 031⁄100 We ordered from Eat24 and the food arrived within an hour. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre. It wasn’t especially flavorful. We got chicken chow-mein, ground porn chow mein, and chicken fried rice. I ordered my Chicken chow-mein medium hot and it was VERY spicy, which i’m happy for because at least it had a lot of taste and spice to it. The fried rice had absolutely no taste, no seasoning, very bland. We probably won’t order from here again.
