Amazing bang for your buck. Intimate dining area perfect for a date. Two cocktails and two entrées will put you back $ 50. The quality of the meal for the price can’t be beat in Hollywood. My favorite by far is the pork belly, and the cocktail selections will satisfy just about any taste. Gentlemen, this is a quality date spot if you don’t want to spend too much.

We wandered into this place while waiting for a show at the Palladium. It is tucked between two other restaurants. Easy to miss. It turned out to be a small place with a cool, intimate feel and friendly service. And they were playing some great music! The drinks were good and I loved the breakfast sandwich(not a huge menu, but everything sounded pretty tasty). I’ll definitely be back!

We popped into this place for a bite to eat after wandering around LA. Good burgers. Lots of flavors. They are not huge so if you are really hungry make sure you get an appetizer or side to go with it. The waitress was nice, but could have done a better job of keeping checking on the customers. She was a little too busy chatting up friends or regulars at the bar. I had to flag down the bus boy as my companion wanted a side of ranch. As the waitress wasn’t paying attention. He also said he would bring us our check and made sure we were doing ok. I really wanted to pass him the tip. Otherwise place was good and I’d go back again.

Small space. Great food. Decent service. Couple TVs. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good place for lunch or happy hour.

This rating is solely based on food. Didn’t have a drink. But the food was very«Meh.» Had the Bowery Burger and the gravy fries. If you’re hungry I guess it’ll hold you over. But don’t go in expecting anything with amazing quality.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had since I’ve moved to Los Angeles. We were seated outside where we waited for a waiter to greet us for 20 minutes until I went inside and asked to be seated inside(which was full) and it was another 10 minutes before the waiter finally came out. I ordered a burger and when it arrived it was literally a burger, no sauce, no cheese no vegetables on an english muffin. The burger was warm but the english muffin was not even toasted or warmed and the fires were cold. No one checked on us, asked how the food was or refilled any drinks. It was finally about 20 minutes after we finished eating before I had to go in and wave down the waiter to give him my card so I could just leave that god awful place. Never go there, Stout around the corner has better burgers, beers and an actual wait staff.

Fun little spot with good drinks and great food. Eats: Brussels Sprouts: THEBESTTHINGONTHEMENU — seriously get them, they came in a date sauce/glaze sounds weird, some of the best I’ve ever had. Wings: AMAZING!!! they are citrus and chile glazed, dont mess with the sauce served on the size the glaze is perfect. Fried Chix Sliders: Perfect fry, good flavor worth repeating. Bowery Salad: Another must try, perfect combo of flavors. Onion Rings: Standard but still pretty good. Drinks: Bowery Old Fashioned, not too bad Jameson/IPA Shandy — stay away As a whole the spot was small but very comfortable, service was great, it’s kinda decorated in an NY Subway theme which was pretty cool. Forgot how much we paid but nothing outrageous.

Great food! The beet burger is massive. Tastes great. The only thing is, the joint is noisy, but don’t let that stop you. The portions are large, the vibe is good. Check it out before a movie at the nearby arclight

A friend brought me to this eatery and it has a great ambiance inside and the food is not amazing but good. I had the fish and chips with garlic fries. The food was served quickly and the wait staff was nice but we were kind of thrown off when we were cashing out because after we paid and tipped the waiter he brought the reciept back to the table with the total circled like we hadnt tipped enough. Thats not right and we had tipped him 15%. You want 20% then earn it.

Super subpar. Found out I had to go out of town on business last minute, so my wife decided to take me out for a date night. Both of us ordered their Vegan burger, which had less cohesion than a sloppy joe, and a lot less flavor. A monster size patty on a an English muffin that can’t dream of containing the whole thing, let alone it’s toppings($ 1 per topping). The garlic fries were good, but probably made that afternoon and sat under a hot lamp. Ended up walking down the street for something else to fill us up after a staggering $ 80 bill for less than mediocre food. Yikes.

I love this place. It’s the only place in Hollywood where you can get a drink and food without it being a scene. It’s a NY style bar with excellent food especially the Bowery Salad and the Burger. They also have a falafel dish that used to be amazing, they’ve changed it and It’s still but not nearly as good as it was. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend this place.

The place is exactly what it claims to be, not snotty or contrived yet not a toilet either. Great, imposing(and well stocked) bar. Same goes for the food — exactly what you would expect. Imagine ordering a burger medium rare and it’s actually prepared that way? So many places seem to think you need to overcook it «for safety reasons» or something silly. Bowery’s was perfect. And with the onion confit, which is not to be missed. The shoestring fries were a bit on the greasy side for my preference but tasty all the same. Staff were warm and welcoming and efficient. Most definitely coming back. Soon.

Off night(hopefully). Food tastes different, not great. Service was all off — wrong order(is our new waitress — M — high? She at least needs to generally know the wine selection. hopefully she’s just a fill-in). Punk rock music is grating. Let’s try again in 2016! (PS. Please bring back the lamb meatballs! :-))

Fantastic burger joint! Unique and delicious menu. Very clever to replace the burger buns with fresh and fluffy English muffins! It keeps the burgers a reasonable size yet they are still very filling! My husband had the traditional burger and I had the vegan burger. I am no vegan but I do prefer red meat alternatives and I tend to like the bean based burger patties. This one was black means, kale, and other veggies and seasonings. I topped it with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and herbed goat cheese. That combination made it one of the best burgers I’ve had. The location is easy to miss, which makes it a good thing because it wasn’t too crowded inside so we were seated right away. They brought out our food fairly quickly, so this is good place to eat before a movie. We parked in the structure for the Arclight and walked over to the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back!

Small, NYC style bar with low lighting. I’ve been a few times and I’m convinced they have the best Brussel Sprouts in LA. They’re blackened and come with an amazing Date reduction/sauce that make them out of this world. Now, they claim they have the best burger in LA, so as a burger fanatic I had to give it a shot. The Bowery Burger comes on a toasted English Muffin and is completely customizable; it only comes with your choice of cheese but toppings are extra. It’s definitely a solid burger, and the English Muffin was different but I liked it a lot. Plan Check is still better in my opinion, but the Bowery definitely has a great burger and drink selection. When I’m in the area and in the mood for a burger I’ll be sure to stop by again. *Valet

Alright you sons of guns, if you come here you are not allowed to leave without getting the burger. It’s just what you do when you come here. Don’t come for one drink with your girlfriend and order like a shishito pepper or something… or come here with your work buddy and grab a martini… you come here to grab a damn drink and get a damn burger. The burger is unique… nice thick, juicy and plump… and served on an English muffin. Yes this isnt groundbreaking or amazing I get it, but it works and gels and complements the burger just right. It’s like this little chunky scrumptious meat grenade that puts your mouth on blast in a good way. Less bread for all you other LA carb conscious folk out there too. If you are contemplating the fried egg on there… do it… you are thinking about it… and yes it works amazingly. Note the place is super small and narrow and parking can be a little tricky, but by all means treat yourself to that perfectly sized meat monument.

Note to bartender: Don’t let people order drinks and tell them the bar is closing in 15 minutes. Let them know BEFORE and let them decide if they want to deal with awkwardness of you wanting them to leave versus finding another place. The bartender seems anxious to get us out quickly as possible and we got there around 1230am. I felt like a teenager all over again and quickly finished my whisky like it was 1999. yay to shots? umm no.

Another standard restaurant/bar in Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard. Came here for happy hour so they had $ 7 appetizers and some deals on well drinks, draft beers, and wines. I just had a glass of Riesling and decided to try their Gravy Fries(topped with brisket and cheddar cheese). The Riesling was typical and the gravy fries were good, like poutine but without the cheese curds. It was just a bit too salty for my taste but my friends enjoyed it. I hear their burgers are amazing though — will have to try that next time!
