Despite the experiences of previous reviewers, I had a perfectly decent experience at this CBTL. As I waited in the arrivals area of TBIT, I noticed the CBTL didn’t have a line. I quickly ordered a Cookie Butter Latte(pretty tasty but very sweet). The barista was friendly and made an effort to chit chat with me as they made my latte, which was more than satisfactory. Perhaps it is best to try out this location when they don’t have long lines.

Quite possibly the first thing you want after a massive flight from Australia is a coffee and a snack. Because flights land so early from the Mother Country a lot of the other vendors are closed– not good ol’ Coffee Bean! Although the service is absolutely shocking and the attitude of the staff not a whole lot better at least you’ll be able to get a small amount of sustenance– if they remember to actually call out your order, which– 9⁄10 they usually forget. I waited 3 minutes for my latte and almost 15 for my Smoked Salmon Sandwich. I only got it because I reminded them of its existence– lucky! Otherwise it would have been left to rot in their microwave oven. 7⁄11 is probably a better option here.

Should have been –1 out of 5. I got the worst service ever. Maricela L. was very rude. She and the other girl behind the counter laughed out loud and mimic my accent after I finished my order. When being asked if there was anything wrong with my accent, they startled and started speaking in Spanish. Only one barista was working while Maricela and the other girl joked around. I’d rather get in line at the opposite 7⁄11 for a bottle of Starbucks latte than a 5 dollar vanilla ice blended that tasted like crap.

If I could choose to put 0 star, I would. Bought coffee for my friends at this Coffee Bean Tom Bradley location and specifically ordered coffee with soy milk. To our surprise, we saw the barista poured REGULAR milk on the coffee. When we brought this to the barista’s attention, he claimed it was SOY milk. Such liar!!! How could a soy milk come in a regular milk ‘gallon’ container??? Do understand that people make mistakes, he could have just admitted that it was overlooked. But No, the barista kept insisting he used Soy milk when we saw it in our own eyes that regular milk was used. So customers, if you are lactose intolerant, B-E-W-A-R-E when ordering coffee here. How I wish the barista was taught with(hoping at least) good customer service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t then case.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I had the worst service ever. I always go to The Coffee Bean and order a Starbucks style Caramel Macchiato and they make the most amazing coffee drink ever. My cousin and I ordered the same drink here and they served me their veesion of the drink and when we made it clear thats not what we wanted the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at us and said that perhaps we should have ordered a latte. My boyfriend ordered a latte and what he got cannot and should not pass for a cup of coffee in any part of the world. No one offered to remake any of our drinks despite charging us $ 17 for that awful mess. Do not buy your coffee here. Go to the Starbucks in terminal 3.

Very slow service, but incompetence gets 5 stars! Wrong order, and cold when I got it. Nowhere to sit either. Incredibly busy. Do not go here if rushing for flight.

This location just recently opened last week as of March 21, 2015. They now have two locations in the Tom Bradley International Terminal in the public area. This one is located on the arrivals level. CB offers good coffee and bakery items. The baristas are still learning and should soon be making your coffee with ease. The prices are a little more expensive than Sbux but the coffee is better in my books. Look for this location as you walk into the terminal across from the I-Store.
