First time here. Got my food to go but I tried the beef and it was pretty good. I don’t mind going again. But kinda price. I guess that’s what I get for being really hungry. Lol

Don’t do it, it is not worth it. I am a rather fit guy who takes his diet serious. I came on 1÷28÷16 at 6pm to get a quick brown rice beef bowl asked for extra meat, I actually called ahead of time because I was so hungry. When I got there the bowl was not ready the cook was nowhere to be found, I received a bowl with white rice funky looking meat & a side of beef scraps with chicken scraps too… Put it to you this way I threw it back because I had no other option and was extremely hungry however I had to rinse my mouth three times after. I have been eating flame broiler all my life and this is not flame broiler, its lame brioler. I think the cook maybe even put pubes in it. Worse prt was theres no one in there so you’d think they would get the order right. God bless my belly tor eating this…

I found myself hook-up on how clean and how good this place is. They also got new decorations, this is like the place that I would confidently recommend to my friends. Angus Beef was really good and it has good portion. With the white rice and this one was really perfect for me.

I ate here once and I can’t say I would want to come back. The place was filthy and they ignored me for like 10 minutes before finally taking my order and getting it wrong. They give a lot of attitude when they mess up your order. The only reason they get two stars is for the food being decent.

Oh my gosh, definitely hit the spot. not greasy or overly salty. Great healthy food for healthy people… you want a heart attack or insulin spikes then go to a greasy burger joint…

Don’t go to this place! I have eaten many Flame Broiler but that one is the worst. Their meat portion is for a kid and those meat usually overcooked. Place smells terrible like you are in the kitchen. There is no AC. Parking is a big problem. Just don’t go!

This location has overcooked and chewy meat and old rice and vegetables. Go to another location and stay away from here.

It’s not earth shattering, but it gets the job done. Chicken bowl fills me up. Bummer that they don’t have Siracha sauce anymore but their hot sauce is still delicious. Service is generally fast, I’d say between 3 and 5 minutes from time of order. Staff is friendly enough. I mean… It’s flame broiler…

Food’s meh. They sell a side of kimchi for a dollar but it comes in a sample cup. For a dollar. A whole dollar for a damn sample cup of kimchi in a neighborhood where good kimchi is shoveled down your throat for free at every table within a square mile.

I come here often for the $ 5 deal that gets you a chicken bowl and a drink for $ 5 from 3pm to closing. The chicken bowl is tasty, healthy(I think), and filling, so it’s a good deal. In the past this place has been a bit untidy and smelly, with little flies lingering around. But lately they seem to be doing a better job keeping it clean. I’ll add another star if they keep it up.

I would choose flame broiler over yoshinoya any day! I love this place but parking really sucks for this location.

Came here because was hungry for some rice and meat and I saw that the was a huge lunch promo poster outside for $ 4.99 a bowl of rice and a drink… but when I walked into order, they said that special starts at 3pm. They should write that on the poster outside… to people know!!! Anyways I had to order since I was already in line, I got the half and half regular bowl with white rice and a drink. Came out to about $ 8 dollars so it’s not that cheap. Tasted okay wasn’t the best, the environment is not good feels dirty and a lot of homeless people walk in trying to sell you old candy bars or asking for change… so lost my appetite real quick. OVERALL: if you feel like spending $ 8 dollars on a bowl of rice and meat it’s not worth it coming here… id recommend that you go to a real korean restaurant for that crave… skip this place!

Oh my god. Why is Flame Broiler so good. I was sitting there just eating one of their unbelievably delicious bowls and thinking, «I wish I owned a Flame Broiler so I could eat this every day.» It’s so good. I’m so jealous. I want one. I think everything on their menu is good. So good. It’s pretty much a Korean style Chipotle I guess, except way yummier. Fabulosa. They have pure meat, or veggies, or meat plus veggies. I like to get The Works because it has beef, chicken, rice(white or brown), and veggies like cabbage, carrot, and broccoli. It’s too good. I’ve never gone to a Flame Broiler and only gotten one bowl. I always end up eating it and getting another: O Either I’m a fatass or this place is super good. I’m going to say it’s the latter. This place broils my flame. OHH clever.

This place is just okay. I’ve been here 3 times(because better here than mcdonalds) and the service is always good, It’s the food that’s not too phenomenal. It reminds me of Yoshinoya which I hate… at least its slightly better than that. The beef is disgusting. If you’re gonna get anything stick to chicken. I like that you can get brown rice. Overall, it gets a 3 because it’s just chicken and rice. Not very exciting or original, just«meh.»

From the sound of some of the initial reviews, this place has picked up and cleaned up its act since it opened. I’ve been here about half a dozen times and it’s just as good as any other flame broiler I’ve ever been to. I personally like the outside seating area which is good for people watching along Wilshire. The food is decent, as you can expect from Flame Broiler, so a solid 3 stars there. The service has always been friendly and fast. Some of the past reviews said it was dirty and gross inside, but every time I’ve gone in it has been clean — tables, floor, sauce area, counter, etc. I’ve been back, and will be back.

I walk pass this location everyday on my way to school. My classmates always rave about how delicious and healthy it is, so we went there for lunch one day. I ordered a mini bowl with steak. The steak is seasoned in your typical korean bulgogi marinade. Grilled and topped with green onions over a mini bowl of white rice. I can say I’ve had better but this is not bad for fast food. The bowl size I ordered was petite but there are larger sized orders. I personally love the mini portion because the amount of food that goes in it is enough to satisfy an appetite without feeling drowsy afterwards. Place is clean. I always see staff mopping floors and wiping down tables and surfaces. There is an umbrella covered outdoor patio but I prefer to sit inside. It’s always packed for lunch, so seating is sometimes unavailable around that time. The workers seem a bit unorganized, but it could be because of the lunch rush hour. Prices are cheap and the food has flavor!

If you must visit a Flame Broiler, go to another location. The food comes out fast, sure… but, and this is a personal pet peeve, I cannot deal with the constant gnats that hovered over the magic and hot sauce stations. Got a chicken bowl with veggies but the chicken was kind of chewy and the veggies needed to be steamed for about one more minute — a bit on the hard side. I do, however, like the little outdoor eating area situated on the corner of Wilshire and Normandie(or is that Irolo?) because it’s made for customers only with the only entrance/exit through the restaurant. I kind of dislike that this place wasn’t a winner in my book. The location in Westchester wasn’t bad at all; well cooked food and clean. There aren’t many food options in walking distance for the area, especially when you only have 30 minutes to walk, eat, and go back to work. You can only tolerate McDonalds and Quiznos for so long… boo.
