Have been to the NYC location and the LA location now. Both are great. I ordered my Iron Maiden ring from here. I also got to see the original casting for the limited edition piece. It’s number 0000 and sadly is not for sale. This place is the go to for rock n roll jewelry as they have been making custom jewelry for the biggest bands in history since 1972. GO here and you won’t be disappointed! They have some truly unique pieces and many are the ones that will see rock stars wearing in concert as this is the place that makes the pieces for them. Also all the Motorhead stuff is out on display and for sale right now, for obvious reasons.

I was in the area and noticed this shop. I walked in not knowing what kind of shop it was but the décor looked cool so I decided to check it out. Wow, what gorgeous pieces and beautiful craftsmanship. I suppose it’s mostly rock/biker type jewelry. Not all of it though. A big skull ring would be cool but not practical for me. I didn’t necessarily have the budget to buy all the things I wanted. I wish I did. I ended up with a really great charm.

My favorite jewelry shop in LA! When you first walk in you will instantly feel the radness of this place. The décor suits the personality of the shop so well. The shop almost like being in a museum, the only difference is you can buy the items here. The craftsmanship and quality of the rings and jewelry is insane. There’s classiest and style imbedded within everything sold here. Everything, with its own personality and story to it. I fell in love with silver jewelry and blacksmithing after taking a Jewelry making class at school. The ladies who work here are all so cool and interesting to talk to. When I went, I got lost in conversation with Nina who was more than happy to show me rings and answer all my questions I had for her. If I’m going to spend big on jewelry it will definitely be from The Great Frog as I know their quality, appreciate the details and time that went to construct and make these pieces. The jewelry sold here will start to feel like collectibles as time goes on more than anything else. I can’t wait to start my own little collection soon.

Metal? Rock n’ Roll? Biker? Sure, but it’s so much more! It’s easy to kick around words like those as you first walk in the door. It’s undeniable as you’re greeted by friendly black-clad sales people and noble resting motorcycles. The Great Frog was born in 1972 London — a year of tumultuous change. Ziggy Stardust ruled the airwaves. Deep throat hit movie theatres… and court rooms. Skull rings were an unexpected and loud rocker reaction to England’s peacock-mod hangover. It would be years before the Sex Pistols hit the stage. Their unique designs were ahead of their time. I’m fascinated by their history and craftsmanship, but It’s not why I visited. I stopped by to pick up a memorial ring. Visit England’s Canterbury Cathedral or New York’s Trinity Church, and you’ll find centuries-old skulls etched in stone as reminders that this life is short and nothing is permanent. The skull motif can be timeless and tasteful. I picked out their«Smallest Skull Ring» in silver to wear as a constant reminder. At first glance I was overwhelmed by the dizzying range of bone, skull and animal rings that scream rock!(Their new LA bone design screams… LA.) Still — if you take a little more time looking — I think their quieter designs say even more.

This is for people who can’t stand Tiffany! Just kidding! There is a seriously wonderful selection of sterling silver jewelry! Skull designs abound(and done tastefully too)! I forgot the name of the girl who was helping me, but she was absolutely lovely! Awesome, unique, well-made jewelry, and fantastic customer service-what’s not to love?!? Very proud to say I’ve begun my collection with classic little skull studs! I will definitely be back for more!

London Calling! Trying to surprise the girlfriend once again for X-Mas this year was easy thanks to The Great Frog London. Looking for something different in fine jewelry, not into the same old stuff you find at the Dept. Stores? This is the place you’ve been looking for. I shot up the 101 to check them out at the Trico shop. I had a idea what I wanted, they were very helpful showing me everything I wanted to see. They even shot out ideas to help me. Ended up with a black widow ring and a pair of skull earrings. A great visit to The Great Frog. This new store looks cool. I got my eye on some skull & crossbones cufflinks maybe on my next visit.
