Perfect place to hang out and listen to some heavy metal music. The venue is small but has the perfect atmosphere for some evening fun. There is a spot in back where you can smoke but I’ve seen some people smoking pot inside. Depending on the venue this place can get rowdy after people get drunk. Free parking in the back but it has limited space.

This is that bar. That bar that you have low expectations for and become pleasantly surprised at as you hole up inside. I don’t want to boast it up too much because god is watching and he’ll probably make me live here when I die, which, no lie, would def suck. But there it is, go by yourself, go with a crew, cheap beer, comedy, and a patio for smoking out back. If you’re into that sort of thing sicko.

I had good time with my friends in Lexington Bar. We enjoyed lot live music and comedy shows. One of the best place for all entertainment. The staffs was very friendly and helpful at every turn. And I loves the wall of this bar. Good paintings. We will definitely come again here. I am planing to celebrate my best friend’s coming birthday here.

I love the dark and urban vibe. They have great bands and interesting artists they add a great artistic feeling to some of the events. They have beautiful people and wonderful people working the door and behind the bar.

I was really scared to go inside and just though«woah.» It’s not far from Skid Row, and their neighbors are LA’s homeless who live in tents. Definitely scary, and the guys at the door were smoking mad weed and looking hard as hell. I was sad to learn they only have beer and wine(and cider), but I thought the place was so awesome and strange overall. I danced. I liked the EDM artist… drum and bass, maybe? I’m not very schooled on EDM genres. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but I think it’s worth a stop if you’re nearby. I was originally going to The Edison, but they had a long line. So I ended up here, and I’m sure it’s a better time than The Edison. Despite it sounding like its from England, the Lexington is the exact opposite of The Edison is every way. Don’t be fooled. It’s divey, it’s dark, it’s frightening, and I strangely felt in my element, so they must be doing something right. Not for the faint of heart!!!

Went in looking for a nice bar scene. This place caught me off guard with people smoking weed at the entrance. We quickly slide past them and the place was nearly empty besides a couple guys dancing off beat in their own world. The bartender did well with strong drinks because after seeing that I sure needed one. We did get here early so I will give them the benefit of the doubt but it still looked like the meeting place for super freaks. Been there and more than likely will not return. Sorry guys.

No. From the atmosphere, to the booking people, and the talent. I understand this place wants to be the«hole in the wall». Or it wants to be so obscure and indie that it is a true ‘dive bar.‘ But it’s really just a building with a bar and that’s about it. I’ve been quite a few times, and I was not impressed. If you want a real laugh — contact their booking people Bachannal promotions. You’ll feel like you’re trying to have an adult conversation with a four year old. Bro. On a positive note — if you are looking for a place to just get trashed for cheap and you don’t really care if you get mugged outside afterward. GOHERE!

I feel like I need to visit this place at least another time to fully appreciate it. My friends had a show here and it was semi empty here for a while, in an awkward dive-y feel. There is some seating, but perhaps not enough for shows when people eventually do show up. I’d like to meet the bartenders, and sit with them. I sat away from them and enjoyed dear Audrey on the wall. Sound quality is actually decent for the space, so hopefully I catch onto more shows headed this way.

Came here for my first ever LA open mic experience. It was memorial day and so it was suuuuper empty. Like 2 people in the audience empty. But I’m still so glad I did it. The gentleman hosting the open mic was named Dominic and he was such a nice guy(and super talented!). Generally a very accepting, receptive audience. The bar itself has an older feel to it, like the stools are about to break kind of deal, but this might be part of its charm. They have really nice beers on draft. Cali Creamn was my fave. All-around a good experience!

Cool spot. Saw black metal shoe here on a Saturday night. Small stage, kinda narrow and small seating area/bar. Clean bathrooms, smoking patio in the back, very nice bartender, good service, cheap beer(beer/wine only no hard liquor). Chill spot overall. Very convenient parking lot(huge) directly across the street, paid $ 8.

Stumbled across this place while I was exploring downtown alone… I walked into the bar and Tim, the owner, was behind the bar. They had just opened and I was the only one in the bar. He was so nice and cool! We hit it off instantly with good conversations and good vibes. I’m all about dive bars and so glad I came acre oa this place! He told me they have live bands during the day!(Not today tho) definitely want to come back when I’m in the area!

I met up with some friends here for karaōke late on a Monday night, and… wow. Walking in… this was not what I expected when I came through the door. I quickly learned that karaōke would be performed from YouTube video. Double wow. Despite my snobbish opening, an evening at the Lexington was easily one of the most interesting and fun karaōke experiences I had ever had. My group’s presence at least doubled the amount of people in attendance, which meant we pretty much held the mic for a good portion of the night. The regular evening crowd was a mix of some of the best and most entertaining performances, including a man who recited from memory and without backing«I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General» from The Pirates of Penzance and a duet by the host and bartender of «Rainbow Connection», with both of them during Kermit voices. It was awesome! The bar is actually pretty well stocked, and features a small but diverse selection of tall boy cans and other beverages. And happily, the bar also serves selections from the Bud Light Limerita series, which also happen to be one of my favorite things. And as my boyfriend just described the bar tab, it was«mega cheap.» I found easy parking, but I also was directly next to a homeless encampment, so I’m going to guess that finding a spot close by is not that difficult. My friends and I are already planning another outing here. The staff and crowd were great, and every person received a well-deserved and enthusiastic round of applause with every ascent to and descent from the stage.

Saw a really interesting set of bands/musicians here– all very unique stuff at a low-key vibe location. Turns out the bartender was the owner and a very cool person! Interested in conversation with everyone there, super fast service, affordable pitchers of good beer. When some random loser vomited and passed out in the middle of the floor, it was cleaned up before anyone could even react. M/Cs can easily park between/in front of cars right in front of the bar; easy to monitor bikes and within view of the door person. Could probably park on the sidewalk too. Will be back!

They had Sade playing during Happy Hour. Heck Yeah! Came here with 2 of my really good friends. We used a Groupon of $ 25. The Groupon was misleading because it shows a photo of food on the website, which makes you think that they serve food. But they don’t. They only serve hot dogs(and will serve sausages and brats in the future). It’s not the bar’s fault though. However, we really dig this place! It’s a pretty small and narrow with a small bar and about 6 tables and a water pong table in the middle. The bartender and other staff was super chill and kept talking to us making sure were ok and made really good drinks for my friends. He also gave us a bucket of chalk to write on the wall if we wanted to. Will definitely come back!
