I had my birthday at this venue on 10÷24÷15 and I’m really happy I booked this space. The art gallery director Randi and his wife Yvonne are the greatest people who helped me organize small details I never thought of like renting cocktail tables, music, how much ice to buy etc. I had a million questions leading up to the event and Randi was always quick to respond. He was incredibly helpful and patient. The Loft at Liz’s has a cool vibe and is edgy yet sophisticated. You can bring in your own décor, but you don’t need much because the gallery already has great character. It’s a classy venue to host a party and guests are sure to have a good time. There’s so many options you have with this space. There’s a full kitchen so catering isn’t a problem, but I had a street vendor make tacos outside in the alley while my friends spray painted the garage wall. It was definitely a highlight. There’s enough room for about 75 – 90 guests, DJ and wait staff. Parking was a bit of an issue as my friends had a hard time finding open meters, but you can valet at one of the nearby restaurants. Also make sure to have a way to guide your guests to the alley entrance since the front closes at 6pm. I can’t say enough about how gracious and incredible Randi and Yvonne are. They’re fantastic and I highly recommend The Loft at Liz’s for any special occasion.

I Just hosted my daughter’s Sweet 16 Birthday Party on Saturday 10÷10÷15 at this Fabulous Venue and it was a huge hit! The space is unique with tons of character, beautiful hardwood flooring, high ceilings and enough room to comfortably entertain up to 100 guests easily. Your guest will be impressed from the moment they reach the beautifully stair welled entry and our host staff, Randi and his lovely wife Yvonne were absolutely amazing! They truly are a dynamic duo, accommodating in every way… my daughter’s party wouldn’t have run nearly as smooth without them. It is located on LaBrea near 6th street behind the Antique store next to the big Orchard Supply Store. There’s plenty of metered parking in both 6th street and LaBrea. Our event started at 7:30 so the parking was free. If you choose to use a Valet Parking company it’s perfectly set up for doing so. It can get a little tricky directing guests to the entrance for The Loft, which is not actually on LaBrea, but in the alley just off of 6th. Signs with arrows and balloons on the door of the Antique Store and at the corner of LaBrea and 6th worked pretty well. I also put directions on the invitations. The Loft has a full kitchen with sink, stove, full size fridge, a microwave(provided at your request, I suggest making the request with your reservation) cutting boards, utensils, serving trays and bowls, beverage pitchers and flower vases. They seemed to have thought of everything down to the bag of ice in the freezer. The space is cozy but not crowded. We had about 45 guests and there was more than enough room on the dance floor and for moving around comfortably even with the DJ’s equipment and staff, The photo booth and attendant and the Henna Tattoo Artist. I highly recommend The Loft at Liz’s as the venue for your next event, it was by far the best priced space rental and staff of the 20 – 30 that I considered. It is classy and well equipped and sure to impress your guests for events of any Kind.

Oh, what a night! Randi & Yvonne, the magnificent staff at The Loft at Liz’s, were a huge help in making our wedding a success — I can’t speak more highly about them, but you can read a bit about how they saved the day on our blog post about it here: Both Randi & Yvonne were quick to respond and forthcoming with information about the venue. They were genuinely excited that we were having our wedding at the Loft. We would recommend to anyone for any event from an art class to a wedding: D

I recently had my boyfriend’s 40th bday party at this location. If I could rate my experience with the Loft at Liz’s and the amazing staff(Randi and Yvonne) more than 5 stars, I would!!! Randi was extremely helpful from the time I booked the event, to the countless questions and emails he answered in a timely manner, to serving drinks and helping me set up and clean up. Yvonne, his wife, was also so helpful and just a delight to work with. I was stressing over pulling off this event(my boyfriend had very specific ideas for what he wanted), and in the end our guests couldn’t get over the wonderful space, location, and staff. I’m still getting texts and phone calls expressing how much fun they had! If you are looking for an intimate and totally cool place to host a party, this is the place! The location is great and I really can’t explain how helpful everyone was. I was so busy playing hostess that I didn’t get to take pictures(Randi, I know you took a few maybe you can post?) but the gallery looked beautiful. Thank you Loft at Liz’s!!! It was an amazing event!!! –Sandra

Inquiring minds want to know why my previous review was removed? This is one of my favorite places in LA. Very diverse, organized exhibits, mostly curated by the owner! The openings usually draw a diverse crowd… ages, backgrounds, languages being spoken. The exhibits vary. There is a theme to the shows. Often an artist talk on a differnet date. The store below is an art in itself(new and used hardware.)

I had a big 40th birthday bash for my boyfriend at The Loft at Liz’s and it was a huge success. Randi and Yvonne were part of the party and getting everything set up was a breeze. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a private event space on a budget(but still looking for that cool factor.) We had a blast and everyone was impressed with how awesome the party turned out. I hope I have another event to bring to this awesome space with these delightful people! Thanks guys!

Its been a week since my girlfirends bday party(SUCCESS), friends, coworkers, and family are still talking about the awesome location. Just wanted to give Randi(loft manager) and Yvonne(his wife) a special thank you. Randi was super helpful from the moment I rented the location to actually helping me serve champagne to the guests walking in. Also, Yvonne could have not been any sweeter and helpful. Thank you for helping me pass out forks for the cake and cleaning up after the guests. You guys rock. Thank you for this special night that we will all be talking about fo a long time. Check out the pics that I posted in my previous comment.

As a LACMA member you get invited to many amazing exhibits and I was lucky enough to attend The Loft at Liz’s. I think it is «adorable» and she always has wonderful, talented artists showcasing their work. As a matter of fact I was there today and I had such a Fabulous time. I would have to say one of my favorite exhibits was the Red theme in Oct or November of 2011 it was so «Cool», I of course, wore RED! Oh! and lets, not forget she always has such delicious food and organic wine. I simply love this place. The only downfall is that everyone wants be at The Loft at Liz’s… that it gets so «Crowded»! It is a bit small but, who cares… I love this Loft Gallery!

Love this gallery, excited to host our meetup group: Art Gallery Parties LA with the current show: Diverted Destruction and we were invited to create something special out of found objects and recycled materials. The gallery has some amazing artists as you will see from the photos and the hardware store is really cool. Love the artists box downstairs which is free, it’s got some great stuff for artists to integrate into mixed media or installation pieces. Friendly staff and great customer service… I highly recommend The Loft at Liz’s and she is friendly and quite inviting.

Yaay! First to review on one of the coolest little finds around!!! :) Yesterday I was roaming the streets of LA, hitting up galleries promoting our 1st Annual LA Unilocal Restaurant Week in conjunction with the LACMA/MUSE Artwalk. There are about 27 galleries participating and I was determined to meet, say hi, and get our posters up at all who wanted to support local community. Happy to say, The Loft at Liz’s is one of those strong supporters! This is great in and of itself, but what moves them from great to greater is this space. My oh my is this the definition of adorable! It’s like a little house, complete with a kitchen and vintage stove! The artwork hanging was fantastic and totally my vibe. Hanging just under the lights were these branch configurations that really stood out and rocked the cool factor. And speaking of cool, I also had a chance to meet Liz and she was marvelously cool to boot… a stark contrast from some of the gallery people I met yesterday, yeek. If you are hitting up the art walk or simply downstairs shopping for antique hardware, follow the arrows to the back and up the stairs and check out this space. It is tres fabulous and I will definitely be back to check out future showings!
