Our neighbor ran this place and she’s awesome. Too bad she had to close it due to all the dtla filth. Sad.

Its size is small and its layout is simple and uninspired, but the big draw to the Rosslyn Market is its humor. They have a hilarious chalkboard in the front which they change regularly. It’s sure to give you a smile. Regular convenience store fare, but I like to reward people with a sense of humor, so I definitely prefer this place to the 7 – 11 down the street. Stop by if you want a laugh!

The only reason I don’t give this five stars is that they don’t carry any more than the usual quickie-mart stuff. At first I didn’t shop here because I thought the prices were too high, but after looking at other markets with the same clientele and product offerings, I determined that they were actually a bit less expensive. The staff are great, dogs are welcome, and despite the small size of the store they have quite a bit of product on the shelves. They must be popular because if you go in the afternoon you might not find what you want. Go in the mornings, after the inventory has been restocked, to find what you need. I’m a regular customer now.

Pretty nice market with the standard stuff. It’s a walking distance away from where I live so I stop by here to get milk and other small food items.

Hair like a peacock and an awesome personality. The clerk was super nice and patient with us. We were there after a few cocktails at King Eddy’s and need some snack action. This place is a bit bare bones on the décor, but they’ve got anything you need if you live in the area. Don’t half step. Support local.
