Hiring this company was one of my best decisions. My husband is an executive who needed a wardrobe update. Our stylist was Melynda. She was awesome. We met her on 4 different occasions. The first was to clean out and organize his closet. The next three were to try on new clothes that Melynda had purchased for him and create a look book. Now he doesn’t even have to think about what he is going to wear!
It’s been a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

I had never used a service like this before and Michelle was fantastic! She not only saved me money but helped me find flattering outfits I never would have considered trying on, and they looked amazing! Her advice changed the way I look at how I dress and I couldn’t be happier with the Shopping Friend.

I am ecstatic about this service. I was paired up with Melynda who I can’t recommend highly enough. She is clearly an expert on fashion, highly trained, experienced and passionate about styling. I am an attorney and wanted a more sophisticated, feminine and stylish professional business casual wardrobe for the office. I was blown away by the A to Z service. Melynda called me the night before to consult and discuss my goals and ease my trepidations. We met the next morning at a Bloomingdales close by my house and then had a super fun 6 hour shopping spree. I literally tried on 400 – 500 pieces of clothing by days end. She was so friendly, professional and knowledgable about fashion. She taught me how to select good clothing, helped me develop a style, and explained what type or clothing would fit my body type best. I am feeling more confident and comfortable in my new clothes at work and couldn’t be happier. Will be setting up another session soon!

I had been looking for a personal stylist for months. When I was about to give up, I went on line and searched for a top Los Angeles personal stylist/​shopper. Michelle’s name came up and I contacted her. As soon as we were done shopping at the first store, I know that I had found the perfect stylist I had been looking for in Michelle. What I liked most about Michelle was her dedication and knowledge of understanding her client’s wants and needs. Her patience is a virtue and her eye for fashion is impeccable. Lastly, Michelle is organized, efficient and has an excellent rapport with people. I would highly recommend her services without hesitation to anyone. She is an amazing and wonderful person. I have also been working with Melynda and she is amazing as well!

This is one of the best things I could have ever done for myself! My stylist is Melynda and she came to my house to coach me on the proper fit for my body type. After about 3 hours we had gone through most of my closet, and I was well prepared to better shop for a more flattering wardrobe. What I liked the best is that Melynda didn’t try to change my personal style and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. In addition, it is extremely affordable, especially for what you receive. I will be using this service again, and highly recommend.

Kristin was amazing, working with my schedule in order to provide me the type of 1 on 1 support I was looking for. I have not done a shopping experience yet, but Kristin spent the time going over my goals with me, and then began working in my closet to determine what I already had before encouraging a significant additional spend. Further, she was very thorough about which specific brands, where to buy, and why so that it was not just about buying so big name item, but to find the best outfit that actually fit me. I would recommend The Shopping Friend to anyone looking for help in figuring out their style, or just trying a new look out!

I’m a guy, I hate shopping. Well, hate might be too strong a word, but I strongly dislike it. Years ago I heard about personal shopper services and finally decided to give one a try after reading reviews on Unilocal.
Michelle was very pleasant and accommodating via email and set up an appointment with Kristin, one of her stylists. Kristin was fantastic — full of energy and a great personality.; we got along with ease. I never felt pressured to try anything I didn’t like and she didn’t hesitate to give her thoughts about any color or look she wasn’t feeling. No pun intended but it really did feel like I was shopping with a friend.
I powered through an exhausting 5 hours (I don’t have much shopping endurance) and left with an assortment of new shirts, pants, jeans, and accessories. The experience definitely broadened my perspective and gave me a great foundation to continue with moving forward. I’d recommend The Shopping Friend’s services to any guy out there, whether starting from scratch or just fleshing out their wardrobe like myself.

Michelle completely helped me with my wardrobe. She has an incredible eye for looking at your body, finding out what is the most flattering shape, color, and style for your body type and a unique talent to grab items of clothing for you to try on that you would never choose for yourself and the outcome is amazing! It’s like going shopping with your best friend because she makes it so fun (and I hate shopping). She’s a miracle worker, I don’t know how she makes it so enjoyable. Michelle has helped style me for two different film projects I was cast for and I will continue to use her as my stylist for every project I’m cast for. She is the best! Plus, her prices are very reasonable. In my opinion she’s the top personal stylist in Los Angeles and judging from the press she’s been getting, others agree.

Michelle is an exceptional personal shopper and stylist. She has a clear vision of what works on her clients. She looked at me and knew exactly what type of clothing would accentuate my best features. She takes the time to listen and really understand what her client is trying to convey through fashion. Working with Michelle was fun and extremely productive. I was amazed at how quickly she created a distinct look for me. I would have never chosen the pieces she put together. When I came home, my husband was ecstatic. To this day, the outfits she produced are at the top of his list and mine.
