Fun place for fun drinks. They have a hipster drink menu that leaves you wondering of different tastes. Defiantly coming back to try out the rest.

The bar is fun but the fat bearded guy who works there is the rudest person, he doesn’t know how to treat customers. When the lights went on he came silently by our table took our drinks which were still full to the top without even saying they were closing. Then he just told us to get the f*** out the bar. How can you treat your clients like that? They know nothing about customer service, uneducated people.

This bar was really disappointing. We ordered three drinks each and each one was terrible. I ordered a mojito and it was literally watered down vodka with a mint leaf… And I asked if they made kir royals and my bartender asked two coworkers what that was to start and then proceeded to make it incorrectly. Too bad because I was excited to try this place. Bartenders were rude as well. Won’t be coming back.

Cool little hipster spot in Silver Lake. Felt like I was in New York with its old world charm and old little fireplace in the back. Downed some delicious Old Fashions. What’s better is that it only cost $ 6 each!!!

Happy hour everyday from 6 to 8 with 5 dollar Old Fashioned. No kitchen but the bartenders are legit and don’t take no shit. Old Fashioned as good as 7 Grand in my opinion. 受賞(that’s Japanese for winning!) It is kind of small and dim inside but more cozy to be next to your lady! They have bands play as well and it can be very«hipster» at times. Great spot in general to relax with very good cocktails.

Happy hour every day till 8pm! Great specialty cocktails too! Stumbled in while waiting for Silverlake Ramen & was taken back by the immediate historic interior architecture & décor. Well they fooled me as the bar is no more than 10 years old. The round bar provides plenty of counter space seats & there are plenty more tables on the periphery of the place. I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area!

Cocktails: amazing, very creative, good taste, they are one of the best mixology spots in the area Service: great, but remember it’s a bar. Approach the bar already with your full order. The bartenders are very nice. Music: awesome Atmosphere: fantastic, cool, hollywood, intimate. Dress code: not at all. Don’t wear crocs… Ever! Parking: valet Order this beauty: «Colibri Simone» from #ThirstyCrow #MezcalElSilencio Cardamaro Cucumber Mint Bitters #SharetheSilence #SilverLake

I came here for happy hour on a Saturday evening around 6pm. They have happy hour even on the weekend, which is nice. It runs from 2pm-8pm, and during this time you can grab $ 5 old fashioneds, moscow mules, and a few other beverages as well. When my friend and I arrived the place was pretty damn empty, but the music was pretty loud, which made chatting a touch difficult. But we were able to snag a table, and some drinks, which was our primary objective for the evening. If you’re looking for happy hour on the weekend in the Silverlake area, I recommend giving Thirsty Crow a go.

Really really liked the feel of this place. First time here and will def be back. A bar to enjoy creative cocktails in dim steam punk esque décor. Not sure how else to describe in but forgive me if that makes no sense. Had an absinthe cocktail which was really good but way too many blackberries muddled in so it was hard to drink. I feel like this place will become a favorite of mine. Couldn’t imagine it full of people since I came on a week night. Also, WHISKEY!

I’ve come here on their busiest nights, and also their more mellow nights. 5FUCKINGSTARS for the nights when there are only a couple handfuls of people, and a solid 3 stars for when it’s a clusterfuck here. Great selection of aged booze — if you’re a scotch and whiskey drinker, Thirsty Crow will not disappoint. Probably the best selection in Silverlake that I know of. They make a mean cocktail, although I always tend to steer away from ordering drinks that are complicated to make(I NEEDMYDRINKSTAT!). The music is always good, their happy hour is great, the place is sexy AF, and it’s always a treat when there is a live band playing.

We just left Knuckle and Claw and stopped in here for a couple of cocktails to wash down the amazing lobster rolls. From the outside this place looks like a dingy dive bar and I’m not a fan of dive bars so I wasn’t too cool about going it. I’m glad I didn’t listen to myself. Let me tell you this was the best mint julep I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect so shout out to the bartender. I don’t know his name but he was a tall skinny black guy. The crowd was mixed. There was an older gentleman that looked like The Marlboro Man(denim on denim on denim), a girl that looked like she thought she was too cute for this place, older people, younger people all in search of a great cocktail. Or at least I was and that’s definitely what I got. The only reason I had to take a star away was because the bathrooms were sketch as hell. I did my business and got out of there. STAT!

Came here at around 9pm on a Friday night and it wasn’t packed at all. Pros: — no line — not crowded — good bar layout — reasonably-priced drinks — decent cocktails — good mix of a crowd Cons: — parking can be tough

Drinks are well made, decently priced. Usually plenty of seating. Bartenders are pretty nice at seeing you and getting your orders even though the bar can get pretty crowded. There’s no waiter service for the tables, so make sure you order your drinks at the bar and sit down. The music level is not too loud, so it’s a good place to have conversations with your friends without having the need to scream and lose your voice. Would definitely come back again.

Walking into this place is like entering a cool, dark, hipster cave with a bit of a wild west vibe going on – then the 90’s hip-hop comes on. You momentarily want to fight it, but flashbacks from your youth enter your head, and you just want to stay and sit with a drink for awhile. I tend to come here early(blame the blissfully affordable $ 5 happy hour Old Fashioneds and Manhattans), so I really can’t question how crazy things get here at night, but there is always a small crowd, yet never a challenge finding a seat. They have a handful of craft, foreign, and domestic beers, as well as wine, but I would say this place is thoroughly a cocktail bar, but one minus of pretension. As this is a pretty strait forward bar, this is a pretty straightforward review, so go, drink your fill, and enjoy the tunes.

Very cool bar that is centered in the room. THEAMBIANCE: I really liked the Ambiance at Thirsty Crow. I was bar hopping with a girlfriend of mine and we had never been so we decided to check it out. We walked in to a dark bar with a huge lit up bar. The bar is center stage at Thirsty Crow, which I really digged. Thirty Crow is a dive bar but not a dive bar. In other words, you can dress down but also dress up. No one cares anyway because its so dark in there you can’t really pay much attention to what someone is wearing. Dress as you like. THEDRINKS: We sat at the bar and ordered their signature drink, which is a blend of a bunch of stuff in a fat, tall, glass mug. Sounded dangerous for a Thursday night but what the hell. It tasted great! We also had a taste of some dark liquor that smelled and tasted herb-y. I wish I remembered what it was called! It was definitely something I had never tried before. THEBATHROOM: I had to write a bathroom heading because the soap dispenser was interesting. It was a glass ball. I had never seen one like it. I believe the bathroom is one(1) stall only. We didn’t have trouble but I can see how it might be tedious on a busy night. TIPS: Über it. No parking anywhere, ever.

If it was cheaper this place would be even better… but to sit and chill with an old fashioned or a snifter/dbl of whiskey, this place rocks. It doesnt matter if you are here alone, with a friend, or with a crowd. Literally I have been in all types of situations and this is an awesome bar. It would be much higher up the list if the drinks were a bit cheaper. None the less they mix a mean drink here and they are delicious. Pro Tip: They may make the best old fashioned that I have had in LA. I can say that this place draws every type of person in LA. There is not a bar that caters to a specific genre or clique of folks. Literally I have seen every kind of person in here; husky blue collar laborers, lawyers, medical professionals, hipsters, regular folks, yuppies, parents, literally you name it… What makes it better than average is that everyone here is pretty friendly overall. It doesnt matter if you are chillen at the oval shaped bar or off at a table in the back with a group or with a friend at one of the small tables on the edges of the room. If you dont know what you want ahead of time, you need to ask what they have, as you cant see everything from where you are at. Wherever that may have been… Regardless of anything else, this is my favorite spot to enjoy a spot of whiskey or tip back a brew in silverlake. Let alone its right next door to silverlake ramen and thus perfect to hit up after a bowl of ramen. To further make this place a bit more enticing, it would be included in my top 10 bars of LA =) So I highly suggest that you get your ass in here and enjoy an adult beverage with or without a friend or ten…

Sex in the air. I now understand what Rihanna means by «sex in the air». Not in a bad way, but the second you walk thru that heavy velvet curtain at the door, it just hits you in the face. All the smells of herbs and fresh citrus hand made drinks are in the air. It’s quite refreshing. Definitely a cool Silverlake vibe. You’re not a cool lounge unless you have hand crafted drinks anymore, times are changing.

Oh man! I’m all about this place, I’ve been telling everyone I know about this hole in the wall bar in Silverlake. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon looking for a good drink and I found it. They have happy hour specials on Saturday too. This is a whiskey bar, and I am no means a whiskey drinker but dang the drinks here were so good you wouldn’t think that there was whiskey in them. The bartenders here aren’t bartenders, they are mixologist with the highest honor. The ingredients are super fresh and the mixologists take such pride in making their drinks. I ordered a couple of margaritas and our mix-man hooked it up. We also ordered another couple of drinks but I forgot what they were because they were that good and fast approaching. My mix-man was also making drinks for other patrons and he let me taste the gimlet(I think). It was made with an egg, it was so crazy good. Come here and you wont be let down.
