Not well organized. Bid on a silent auction item and won. They said they don’t have the certificate there but asked me to put my name and number on a post it note?! Well they did charge my credit card the same day but as of today 1÷21÷15, I did not receive a call. I have had other problems with AEG related events and the Team LA store such as wrong orders received, delayed shipments etc. Makes being a Kings fan difficult.

Tip-a-King 2015. Better than last year. VIP(300) got to get the first 1−½ hours, the balance of ticket holders(900) got in at 530. The event ended like a sporting event at 730. Set up like last year with lines as short as 5 and as long as 100. Each fan got either two autographs OR one autograph and one pic. All players were there along with Coach Sutter and staff, and Bob and Jim. Tip-a-King dollars were needed to participate(Dollar for dollar). Most of the players were $ 5(King, Williams, Stoll, Greene, Kopi, Drew, Carter, Quick and more) — and a select were $ 10(Brown, Toffolli, Martinez, and more) — with these guys you got a photo keychain, flip book, magazine cover and more. Very well organized(except Martiniez — his activity took too darn long and his was the slowest moving and 50+ got shut out when 730pm hit). The players, despite playing a short overtime, in a gut-wrenching loss were understandably tired, but for the most part were cordial and having a good time). Fans had sweaters, hats, posters, trashcans, helmets, gloves, paintings, canvas prints, pucks, sticks, banners, and even a milk bottle or two. The time flew by, and at 730 sharp the players got out of there, their cars moved near the entrance of the VIP lot one since a Clipper game was going on at that time. The event also had a silent auction. Admittance, tip-a-king dollars, auction all went towards the LA Kings Care Foundation — it’s their biggest event. A box lunch was provided with the cost of admission. The event sells out every year, and I don’t know if the availability of tickets got past the season ticket holders. Very fortunate to be able to attend!
