They’re a lovely mom and pop dry cleaner in my neighborhood that does its job perfectly. I was never disappointed by their services and kindness. The lady is really friendly. She feels like a real auntie to me, even though she’s Latina and I’m Korean. There is no need for me to go further to a bigger place for a higher price. It’s right there in front of my apartment. I hope they thrive their business for a long time. I’ll be really sad if I lose my neighborhood dry cleaner.

The new owner is a small and talented woman named Myra. She works magic on stains, has a terrific personality, and always does a 1st class job on any fabric — even a vintage ostrich feather cape that had a few stains. Myra managed to restore the cape to its former glamorous state. Prices are very reasonable as well.

the short version — i got ripped off and my stuff was ruined. I chose this place do to its close location to my building(literally nextdoor) and the amazing Unilocal reviews. here’s the story: dog threw up on my duvet. I brought the duvet cover, the duvet insert, a dress and one of my ex’s button ups to be dry cleaned. when i went to pick up the dry cleaning: 1. EVERYTHING had a very strong and distinct odor. after some googling I’ve learned this is an outdated dry cleaning chemical(thus why it is so cheap). 2. He said he got a stain on the dress so it would be «a few more days» 3. i hand him my ticket and he pulls my duvet cover and insert out of a dirty bin and throw them into a trash bag to give them to me, i ask for the cover to be pressed of the wrinkles which he does(he is very kind) 4. The stains from my dog were gone(great!) however, there were dirt marks on both as if they were drug across the floor and there were brown spots on my white duvet cover that were NOT there before. 5. He asks to keep my bedding another THREE days. this is WAY too long to correct a mistake! it should be made a priority! 6. when i went back and got the bedding and the dress the dress has water stains on a SILK dress. its ruined and i wouldn’t DARE bring it back to him to try to «fix» it. the bedding is STILL stinky even after being aired out for 5(yes FIVE) days with downy wrinkle release AND febreze applications and the final and WORST part is he somehow managed to SHRINK my duvet insert. seriously, it is 6 – 8 inches smaller than the duvet cover now — my bed looks RIDICULOUS and the down in the insert is all in one corner. Ultimately my dress and bedding are both ruined all because i tried to save a few bucks. That 40 i paid for my bedding to be cleaned was not worth almost 2 weeks with a bare bead and now having to fork over a ton of money for a new one. Beware, you get what you pay for. And yes, other Unilocalers are right — the guy who runs it is nice, but i would rather go to someone who isn’t as nice to me if they don’t ruin 3 or the 4 items brought there.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a dry cleaners. Friendly does not equal good. I would rather deal with a surly but competent clerk than this friendly moron. I took my clothes in on a Friday night just before they closed. I asked the man at the counter if he could clean and press them by the end of the day on Saturday. He hemmed and hawed and never really said yes or no, but gave a long-winded excuse about how overworked his employees were. So I begged him to only do the one suit I had to wear on Monday morning and the rest of the order could be done by Monday night. He perked up, smiled and said«no problem!» I divided the clothes into two piles, he wrote two tickets and told me to come back Saturday after 2PM. Saturday at 3 I arrive and he can’t find my clothes. None of them. Finally he finds them and admits that they aren’t done because his«assistant» has his«head in the clouds» and forgot to do them. But then he says they’re clean but not pressed and he’ll quickly press them. I leave, come back two hours later and he hands me … my clothes I wanted Monday. The ones for Saturday(that I need to wear Monday morning!) are nowhere to be found. He runs around in a panic looking for them, overturning piles of clothes and paperwork, and he offers me no apology other than again blaming his employee. At this point, I’m kind of stuck so I just say, «fine, I’ll come back Monday and pick them up». So I did. And not only did he not give a discount or an apology, he tried to overcharge me. Scatterbrained, full of excuses and expensive. Not going back here.

Excellent service(usually the owner is at the counter and takes your order), very reasonable prices(laundering men’s dress shirts $ 2.50), and fast(one-day service, no extra charge). I’m pretty picky about cleaners.(I once considered buying one, so I’ve done my homework). I really like 20⁄20 cleaners. Find them in the little corner mall just one block South of Wilshire at Normandy. Usually easy in-n-out parking to drop your clothes off, then pick-up same day. Love it!

In Koreatown, you have a wide spectrum of choices for dry cleaners. However, the friendliest and least expensive was 20⁄20. It’s located in a little strip mall near Irolo and 7th. They also had great hours, they opened at 7 am so I could drop off my stuff before heading to work and pick it up on my way home or on Saturday mornings. The owner is usually there and he’s super friendly. I never had large dry cleaning bills no matter if I bought a stack of slacks that needed cleaning and pressing or my suits. I can’t recall paying more than $ 20 for any of my orders, and usually paid within the realm of $ 7 – 20 for my orders. They always paid attention when I asked for no crease on my slacks and I never had a missing button or any weird chemical stains on my clothes. Everything came out smelling fresh and well-pressed. Highly recommended if you live in the area! Close to the Normandie and Wilshire bus lines, as well as the Wilshire/Normandie metro station, if you’re a pedestrian like me.

Just because this is my neighborhood cleaning shop doesn’t mean it deserves a review. But because I have never felt such lovin’ for my little buttons and seams, and because I have never had such continued success with stain removal, I am giving a shout out to my neighbors Twenty Twenty. I don’t know where the name came from, but my daily routine has resulted in at least twenty trips to the friendly couple who run the shop. Rarely, rarely has there been a mark amiss on my article of clothing that was not promptly and sufficiently remedied. Wine on a cushion? Gone! Muddy puddles on white pants? Gone!(white pants are so hot right now) You know you are in good hands when you don’t have to point out the dirty collars or stained underarms; they are bright as new when returned to you less than 48 hours later. Worry not, dear Unilocalers. If you are need of a Koreatown drycleaner for all your laundry dirtywork, look no further!
