I go to this school and frequent this place. It’s convenient for when I’m on break from class and need a quick snack. The prices are a little higher than average and I already know the reason for that. All in all it’s a coo place for students to get a quick snack

Just got take out from here. I’m not sure if it was worth the money. First I was waiting for my food for a good 25 min and then they put my food in wet plastic bags. The presentation did not look appetizing. I got a half turkey sandwich and cup of tomato soup. The sandwich had no flavor. It was dry and bland. The soup actually tasted pretty good.

I usually come here in the morning for their burritos. They usually have different one very day and it is usually steak, bacon, ham, or chorizo. But I have decided to come here for lunch. It is run by students so you will see your server in one of your class sometime and hopefully they won’t remember how much tip you left them. A lot of old and business people goes here so you hardly see any students dine in here. If you do, it is probably because you are there with your friends. The food was decent. The place seem to be under staffs, the place has two servers running around waiting tables and dealing with customers. Overall it was good and would come back here if it is not busy.

I tend to go here for lunch or grab a drink with my friends. The drinks are pretty cheap and affordable. The price is decent basically the normal price of any restaurant but not too pricey. They have been expanding their menu in the past it was hamburgers and a few other things but now they also have pizza too. My favorite is probably the chicken pesto pasta. Yum so goood! The only thing that sucks is the service can be pretty slow. So make sure you get their attention sometimes.

Stopped by to have a conversation with my prof and to have lunch. Walked in and the entrance was a little weird. They have a plant and the register write by the entrance/exit. Sat down. Tables had white table covers with white paper. I had the tomato basil soup. Very similar to the tomato soup at the Nordstrom Café. Nice creamy flavor. Decided to have BLT. Was not impressed. The sandwich was dry and it the bacon tasted chewy. I like my bacon to be nice and crisp. It felt like I had to bite down hard to make sure that the bacon was not torn out of my sandwich. When we left the waitress totally mixed up our receipts with another table. The other patron was upset. I didn’t think it was a big deal, but when I looked at the time, the food did take a long time to come out. I am glad I tried out this place, but the reality is that I won’t come again. The appearance is that the food is on a different plane than the university food court, but the reality is that it is barely a notch above Carl’s Jr. and Pollo Loco.

Business Practice isn’t straight. Prices fluxuate according to whomever is working at the time. Younger(possibly student) cashiers do not know how to work the cash registers. Make sure you have a couple more dollars in your pocket in case you get a student employee. If they charge you more, you should probably just pay the extra because the Two Women Managers are quick to accuse you of stealing from them. CSULA Business School deserves better.

Nothing really special about this place, other than the only food place in the bottom half of the campus. It’s pretty quiet in here and there are usually a few spare tables. There are no outlets in the front entrance. But in the back there are a few outlets. They sell fruit, sandwiches, breakfast food items(during breakfast time only), a few salads and a few wraps. Prices are standard.

As most business students know, this is the place in Salazaar Hall. Good place to grab a quick bite, especially when you’re taking night time classes.

AFAIK, they don’t serve beer here anymore, contrary to what the pictures might say. Don’t buy any bottled drinks here, they charge tax and are more expensive than the vending machines located 5ft outside the door. The boxed sandwiches are decent, but are $ 5. Don’t get any of the breakfast burritos, they are mostly filled with undercooked blocks of potato. Other than that, its a pretty chill place to hang out and use your laptop, plenty of outlets on the perimeter. Close to your classes in Salazar Hall. Good alternative to the Annex if you have your own laptop.

You know how sometimes even though there are a lot of food options around, you still feel like there isn’t anything good to eat? Well, after eating at the school’s food court for the past year or so, I’ve definitely grown tired of El Pollo Loco’s skinless breast meal, am bored of the baguette sandwiches from Dolcini’s, and have shunned the student store’s junk food. Since those places are where a lot of students go when they need to buy lunch, I basically ran out of options. That was, until I learned about the grand opening of a large café hidden somewhere at the end of campus inside Salazar Hall. Why would they even put this wonderful place in such a far away building? Everyone knows all the happening occurs around King Hall! Anyway, I guess if you are willing to take the long walk across campus or are(un)lucky enough to just have a class in Salazar, definitely drop by University Café. Don’t let its uninspired name fool you; it has a lot of goodies waiting. There is a wide selection of hot(like hot dogs, chicken wings, sliders) and cold food(sandwiches, salads), interesting beverages(dry soda anyone?), yummy treats(ice cream, candy), and spacious area for you to study and relax. Everything was pretty inexpensive, but if you get some of the hot stuff like the chicken wings($ 4 or so) you may need to get more than 1 serving because they are a bit small. However, the salads look like they will definitely fill you up. I really liked the lay-out of the café because as you walk in there are a couple of tables lined up against the right side of the wall(good use of space) and in front of these tables is where the food section is. Next to the food section are about a dozen or so tables, each large enough for 4 people to study together.
