I scratched my lenses in my glasses and ended up going here because of an emergency. I am thrilled it turned out this way. Dr. D is amazing. She is compassionate, informative and patient. I recommend this to everyone! My entire visit was 113. Everywhere else starts at 150 – 60. This is the place to go. Lovely energy.

My wife and I had a great experience going here. You’ll get a great eye exam without any pressure for add-​ons or services you don’t need. Van Nuys Vision Optometry is run like a «Mom and Pop» shop you’d find in your neighborhood:

They gave us the vision exam we needed, and answered all the questions we had about the process for getting glasses and working with our insurance. This helped us navigate the entire process of getting glasses, beyond just the eye exam.

This place is beyond amazing! Don’t let the fact that they are located inside Target fool you. Everyone on the staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Husain is a very patient and kind woman who was wonderful enough to stay an hour past closing in order to write up a report for my Boyfriend’s police medical evaluation in which they were requiring him to take an additional vision test with contact lenses (And we were just walk-​ins!) Mohammed, who is the manager, was also very helpful and nice. He took care of everything we asked for with a smile and was super warm and courteous. Lastly, Brenda, the team member that trains people in putting on contacts for the first time was so ridiculously patient. It took my boyfriend about 45 mins to pop both in, and Brenda kept trying to find news ways to help him in trying to put them on for the first time. All I can say was that she was fun and very professional. Everyone was super amazing and I wish I had more words to describe them. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed. P. S. They are are not Target Optical and they are not associated with Target. They are a brand new optical office that happens to be inside Target.
