Love this place! Delicious gelato and the service is excellent. Glad to have this new place to go to when I make the trip to Venice.

This place takes you back to a different time period. The morning breads are 40% off close to closing time. Also, if you check-in you get a 10% off on the spot or you may save it for next time. Delicious! thanks =)

Stepped inside for gelato! The mixed berry and mango were delicious. It is pricey for one small scoop but i enjoyed it for a beach snack. Theres seating outside and the inside is really cute.

Very unassuming storefront, I had no idea such a nice place was inside! Service was excellent, my husband went with a blended mocha and I had a scoop of rocky road gelato and both were excellent! Very high quality, rich and tasty. Portions and prices are fair, both were around $ 4 each. Super clean and bright store, you totally forget you are on the Venice boardwalk, so glad we stopped in, I’ll be back next time I am in the area!

Nice new shop on the boardwalk. They serve coffee and a nice selection of gelato. This location is good, but there seems to be some unfinished business with the building as it appears undone. There are a few tables outside, and it is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The menu offers many coffee and espresso drinks, and they have a variety of pastries in the display case. I have had the toffee chip and almond crunch gelato here before and it was very good. This time I opted for the mango and strawberry sorbet. The flavors were very fruity and not too sweet, it was very refreshing. Staff was attentive and friends.

You GOTTA try the turkey sandwich. The bread was off the hook!!! Amazing ice chai latte & overall service! Didn’t try the ice-cream.

Fantastic ice cream, Venice is a dirty beach loaded with hustlers slinging crap to tourists, but our friend who lives there took us here and this place is a gem in a sea of grime, once you get in you get a super clean, nice old school-ish ice-cream parlor. The staff is super friendly, and the ice cream is delicious!

Absolutely OBSESSED with this place… Anytime I bring visiting friends to Venice we make a pit stop here. The chocolate gelato is so rich, and they had a chocolate brownie flavor with nuts that was to die for! I very highly recommended this place. The staff is very fun and friendly. If you haven’t tried this place out yet you are missing out!

Surprised by how clean this place is in comparison to the rest of the Ocean Front Walk stores. Basic flavors and decent ice cream tasting flavors. The storefont is clean and nice which gives me a lot of confidence that it might be a good place to get ice cream. I find it to be good enough for a beach day ice cream but overall it is just average and a bit overprice for the average taste.

I was indifferent the first couple of times I tried this place. Then I had the ice cream. Man, it is gooood. Unfortunately I live closer to this establishment than my gym so my thighs may suffer but in the meantime I’m slowly working my way through all of the flavors(dulce de leche is the best so far). Some of the baked goods and other food has been lackluster. If this was just an ice cream joint I’d say 5 stars.

Food gooood. Prices Fair. Not a friendly staff though. I know it’s venice but still. You shouldn’t argue in front of clients about who messed up. Oh and it’s better if you greet customers by saying«what can I get you» rather than«what do you want?» Keep it pro people. Overall good spot.

Peanut Butter and Oreo ice cream all the way. Milkshakes are fresh as well. Delicious. Venue is nice. A good respite from the random and unruly crowds of Venice. Highly recommended

Fyi, I’m not a pro. I’m a regular guy who loves to eat. I started Unilocaling so I could help others find delicious places to eat. After reading some of the reviews on Unilocal,I thought«Why not try it?» I had just finished up lunch at El Huarique next door.(I highly recommend that place, read my review.) After lunch, I figured dessert would hit the spot. You can’t go wrong with dessert spots, right? Wrong. Wow, what a miss. This little spot does look quite appealing as you approach it from the boardwalk. The exterior patio looks very inviting and the number of people with smiles on their face looks inviting. I wonder if all those people are paid to look like the’re having fun, or maybe they were just chillin’ and didn’t really eat the food there. Regardless, they were quite misleading. Walking into the little shop actually feels good. You walk in and see a glass display of delicious items. The cookies, brownies, parfaits, ice cream, pizza, etc looks so appetizing. My sweet tooth was pretty much in heaven. I did see the prices were a bit absurd. $ 2.50 for a chocolate cookie, $ 3.50 for a brownie, etc. I figured I would still try it since I wanted to try a new spot that day and I was enjoying my beach day. I ordered a peanut butter and cookie ice cream cone($ 3.50), one chocolate chip cookie($ 2.50), and a powered sugar coated brownie($ 3.50). My first bite into the ice cream was pretty refreshing. The flavor was pretty good, but I did expect more. The texture was nothing new. It kind of felt like Dreyer’s ice cream and they probably added peanut butter to make it taste a bit different. However, I did not complain about the $ 3.50 price tag as they serve the ice cream in a sugar cone and fill the cone up along with your one scoop. This is the first place I’ve come to that actually fills the cone up with ice cream. Props to them! The cookie and the brownie were the biggest disappointments. The chocolate chip cookie tasted like dough. That’s it. Not really sweet at all and the only bursts of sweetness came from the chocolate chips, which were rarely found per bite. The brownie tasted liked burnt butter. I don’t know how else to explain it. My fingers were coated in grease every time I grabbed the brownie. It was«burning» through the wax paper bag it was given to me in. Not the best sign. Neither the cookie nor the brownie tasted fresh. I honestly think Subway’s cookies(about 3 for $ 1) are way better than the cookies here. Luckily, I used Unilocal’s check-in discount and got 10% off. So glad I didn’t pay full price for these so called baked goods. This place does have potential. Their customer service is okay, and the atmosphere is refreshing. The outdoor patio is very nice and I bet sitting out there with an ice cream cone in your hand and the sun setting is probably one of the best views you can get in California. They just need a better baker. I don’t even mind paying those prices if the sweets were actually sweet and delicious.

Ok. wow! What a great addition to Venice Beach! At first i thought. Eeaahh kinda spendy for one scoop of ice cream. But to my surprise every cone is a waffle cone and one scoop is a very healthy scoop! Well worth the $ 3.75. I had the toffee and my friend had AbbaZabba. All i can say is yum! The service was fast and friendly. The establishment clean and well lit. And the dessert case is something so far from what you before accustomed too inn the boardwalk! I give this place an A+ for bringing a little class and sophistication to the area! Thank you! Bummer I didn’t check in when we were there. I could have saved 10%. All good. First helpful tip ;)

As we were biking to Santa Monica, I noticed there was a new ice cream spot on the Venice promenade! Josh and Shawn had shakes and I went for a classic cone with 2 scoops! I was in a coffee mood so I had a scoop of brownie fudge and topped by a scoop of coffee ice cream! As they were tasty and we sat in front with a view of the beach — it was a little over priced for ice cream! $ 7 for a milkshake?

Not amused. Came in looking for a quick drink and ordered the Passion Fruit Jasmine Iced Tea. As a tea junkie and having tried various teas from many, many stores, I was super disappointed. Just by the name, I was expecting to get a really fruity and refreshing tea, however this was probably the most I’ve paid for substandard tea — ever. It tastes exactly like the free tea you can get at Asian restaurants. It wasn’t sweetened, had no sort of flavor, and the only option was to add Splenda or honey.

This was a golden nugget buried deep in the bum stink and bird poo of the Venice Boardwalk, laden with delectable eclairs and one of the most pleasurable lattes I’ve tasted… But maybe that was simply the kind of day I was having. To be honest, I wasn’t sure about it from the outside, as of 04⁄2015 they were still doing work to the exterior; but I could tell from the window that these people had something special going on. A boardwalk filled with more refuse than reasons to stay gives visitors a tough time finding the REAL good stuff. THIS café is one of those good places. Kristofer’s Morsel of the Day: Get the éclair. Get 4 of them. Give me one. Or 4.

A new development on the Venice Beach boardwalk… which is a nice change because most places on the boardwalk are fairly mediocre with a few exceptions. Its a café for ice cream, pastries, coffee, and juice. Place is super clean(well, it is new), and staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve been here twice. My only concern/complaint is if the café is too limited in what they serve, and if they will make it because their pricing is a bit out of sorts for the boardwalk. On my second visit I got a fresh orange juice and a croissant. Both were good/solid, but the total was $ 9 which I thought was expensive for the boardwalk. Also, slightly more upscale cafes equal or better their prices. A nice addition to the Boardwalk nonetheless.
