Walt Disney’s Grave

Amazing spot to visit especially if you are a Disney fan of any sort… a little hard to find but once you do, it’s absolutely amazing.
It’s located at Forrest Lawn in Glendale… wayyyyy back.
When you first enter, look for the signs that say the Freedom Mausoleum, that’s the area you need to be… it might seem like you keep driving and driving but you will eventually see the building.
Park along the street and walk up the hill… when you are looking at the building, Walt’s grave will be to the left of the doors… its nestled right in the left corner, with it’s own gate and garden. You will see a little statue of the original Little Mermaid and a plaque on the wall with Walt’s name including those of Lillian Disney, Robert Brown and Sharon Disney Brown Lund.
It took me a little while to find the first time but now that I know where it is I like to stop by every once and a while and pay my respects to the man who figured out a way to make millions of people happy.
