Special thanks for Derek for his review — this is now the only place I buy my coffee. My favorite so far has been the Mediterranean coffee, which I grind at setting number 8 for our french press at home. It’s silky, dark, and almost chocolatey. I recently ran out of this heavenly stuff and used a bag of Peet’s that has been in my freezer(which I used to think tasted SO good) and was struck by how bad it tasted compared to the coffee I bought in this humble little shop. One pound is $ 4.99! Unbelievable! Why pay more at coffee shops or at the supermarket when you can buy delicious, fresh, complex and rich coffees from around the globe, right here?

World of nuts & coffee isn’t really a café by all means. Its a small local store that sells dried fruit, nuts, and about 10 coffees by the pound. I found this place while getting my wifeys car washed across the street. Each coffee is in a small barrel ready to be shoveled into a bag. They carry mediterranean dark & med blend, colombian, kona, tanzanian peaberry, french roast, espresso blend, costa rica, ethiopia, mexico, and a few flavored blends. The price ranges from $ 3.99 — $ 6.49 per LB. Now, if you get less than 1lb, it will cost you an extra dollar. They have a decent selection of dried fruit and nuts such as banana, figs, apricots, pumpkin seeds, almonds, cashews, peanuts, and they even carry curry powder. The lady behind the counter was really nice and she offered to grind my coffee for me and ask what setting i wanted. Im all for supporting a small neighborhood store like this since im a die hard coffee fan. I bought a pound of mediterranean dark & kona to try. Whose down for some french pressed coffee?
