Sorry to say that this place has closed. Very good and fast Thai/Chinese food. Is now a Chego restaurant.

Not being familiar with China town and not wanting to bug/get ignored by my friends who live in LA I decided to turn to Unilocal to find a place to eat. After filtering by distance, cheapness, open now and accepts credit cards I was lead here. It was a little hard to find and I actually almost went into the wrong restaurant. Unilocal said they accept credit cards but they have a sign up that says«Cash Only» If Unilocal had the right info I probably would have never gone here and after going here I kind of wish I never did. My Unilocal app said you could get a free Thai Ice tea for checking in but once I mentioned it to the server they said they don’t do that. That was the beginning of the disappointments. The Pad Thai was mediocre. Noodles were glass and the whole dish did not contain much flavor. It had most of it’s flavor when it was steaming hot after being prepared but that didn’t last long. The 2 positives about this place are the generous serving sizes and low prices. Pad Thai was only $ 6. If they gave me the free Thai ice tea maybe I would have given an extra star.

Very friendly service. Food was alright, but for the price, I’d come back! They even hooked it up with an extra Thai iced tea for checking in!

thai family. really sweet server/owner. great food, low prices, wished they had a better location though, cause they would have done fantastic without all that competition. $ 6.75 lunch special with soup, soda, egg roll, and an entrée The green curry was the BEST I EVERHAD. I’m salivating just thinking about eating it again. Seriously, eat at this place. You totally won’t regret it. Too bad they don’t have one in my location =\

Talk about cheap eats in Chinatown! $ 3.50 for a bowl Thai noodle boat! Tastes pretty good but do preferred pa ord’s in Hollywood better. A very small hole in the wall joint in a typical Chinatown shopping center. We had a hard time communicating with the staff. No one speak Chinese, and English was not fluent. But finally got that down to proceed with the order. Boat Noodle $ 3.50 for a small bowl. Beef with lots of veggies. Yen to fu noodle– with fried tofu and noodles, also $ 3.50. Tastes was decent! For $ 7 for two people, It was so worth it! They also have some new Thai desserts that they were making that day! * CASHONLY

Fantastic Thai food! We visited this restaurant based on the Unilocal reviews and we were thrilled at how wonderful the food was. The place looks like a dive in the middle of a mall area in the heart of Chinatown that you would pass, but don’t be fooled. The food is fantastic and the dishes are authentic Thai dishes. Quick and friendly service. Cheap eats and you get huge portions. The gyoza/won ton soup is served in a huge bowl enough to feed 3 or 4 people. And the fried rice with chicken is to die for.

Hole in the way place in Chinatown… Not to shabby. all their dishes are under $ 7… Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and other noodle dishes are $ 5. Noodle dishes are $ 5 and you can get smaller portions of the noodle dishes for $ 3ish… Stumbled upon here while looking for a quick bite waiting to get my taxes done… The large«grade C» kinda deferred me away, but the other restaurant options around the area didn’t seem as appetizing as this one. It had all the pictures and prices posted on their wall. so the pictures helped… I was en route looking for a place to pic up spring rolls to go, when I thought, hmmm $ 3 for spring rolls or $ 5 for a full meal, why not, lets give it a go. Ordered pad see ew with beef to go. Service was very fast and she was friendly… Food was up in less than 5 minutes… It was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I will definitely come back when I am in Chinatown. Looks can be deceiving, so don’t let it defer you to another spot. My dad told me he didn’t see this place when he got there earlier and he ended up eating at a restaurant to the right that had the sign pad thai… He paid over $ 8 for his plate and said it was too salty. This hole in the wall spot, definitely a winner.

So I was in Chinatown with my family and we walked by this place so many times, but we always look at the pictures. So finally my dad decided we should just try it because it was cheap and looked good. What I got: Pad Thai($ 5): I’ve had way better(I use to eat this once a week). It looked good when it came out and it came with a lot for that price. The taste wasn’t all that great though. The noodles didn’t have a lot of the pad thai flavor to it. Service: It was good. We got seated right away and after a couple minutes she took our order and it didn’t take long for our food to come out. It seems like she is the only one working there or maybe there is a cook in the back? Every time someone came in, she would take their order and go to the back. It’s a small place so I guess…

SUKIYAKI!!! SUKIYAKI!!! My coworkers and I can eat this dish 3 days in a row and not get tired of it. Its thin clear vermicelli stir fried with different types of veggies and meat of your choice(usually I get pork) The steaming hot and juicy dish when paired with their special hot sauce is just mouthwatering… So far I’ve also tried their pad thai, and tom yum but this dish wins by far!!! The pricing is great too… most dishes are only $ 5 with some half portions of soup noodles only costing $ 3.50! A MUSTTRY!

Bombizzle! Order the ~chicken noodle soup~ with the thinnest noodles they have! Pad thai and Pad See Ew are good too. Don’t forget to sprinkle their heavenly white pepper on whatever u order! Just do it… You’ll thank me later. ;-P Cheap and delicious authentic Thai food! Made by THAI People. What more can you ask for? My boyfriend and I come here once a week since we discovered it about 2 months ago. Yes, we DO go out of our way to come here. It’s so worth it Took my family of 4 here and fed us all for under $ 20…

Looking for a place to eat in Chinatown is like looking for a stolen item at Winona Ryder’s residence(ahh…has it been that long?), there’s at least two or three in every corner. Finding a good one though is rather frustrating as we have to resort to trial and error. Luckily, this was a success! Normally I wouldn’t have paid this place a second look as it did not look interesting both inside and outside. It’s a very typical hole in the wall joint in Chinatown with food pictures lining the front glass and on the interior walls, padded chairs and wood-colored tables with jars of condiments lining on the side. I blamed(or rather thanked) my dad for dragging me in here as he was in the mood for pad thai. With half of the restaurants full, the service was incredibly fast and done by just one lady. The pictures on the wall faciliated the process somewhat as we got our food within minutes of sitting down and ordering. The pad thai and soy sauce noodle that we ordered were both priced at $ 5 each and came in surprisingly large portions. I would give the taste 3.5 stars but for the price, it got bumped up. As mentioned by another Unilocaler, the watery red chilli sauce, as well as the green chilli sauce, were great condiments for the noodles. We had almost a plate full of leftovers which was perfect for my late night munchies. CASHONLY

good bye b’s wonton noodle house, hello wu ha thai noodle house. first time eating here was about 2 weeks ago when they opened. i ordered the chicken pad see ew. my friends got the pad thai and boat noodles. the pad see ew was great. they have grandmas in the back cooking, making everything taste like a home cooked meal. it just felt like they were cooking especially for us. i’ve already gone twice since the first time. great place. great prices. good food. the pad thai is quite good and they have this hot red sauce that’s so good on anything. i just pour that stuff on. expect to pay only $ 5 a plate. cheap is nice.
