This is my go to restaurant in Los Fresnos. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Giant homemade flour tortillas, need I say more. Delicious Mexican food for breakfast and lunch. Caldo served every other day and menudo served daily. Decently priced. It is a small place so the tables are tightly placed. The service is great, except for one of the waitresses. She(older waitress) always seems to be in a bad mood. I try to always get the same younger two because they are always nice and good at what they do. The other lady seems to wish she were anywhere else.

Great breakfast but prices have gone up! Their service is good too! Lunch is not that great considering their increase in prices. I’d recommend the place for a quick breakfast! Restrooms are dirty.

Good food and service although they can never get my over medium egg right. Prices have gone up and try use the Chinese method of reporting taxes calculator on the side for every other transaction.

The food here was good and so are the prices, but the tables are packed so close together that I felt like I was dining with the rest of the city. .. in my lap! This place is fine for a cheap meal, but if you want a little privacy and a more pleasant atmosphere you are better off going elsewhere.

In rating a restaurant on food, service, and value, Elva’s is maybe the best in the SPI area. It’s a bit of a drive but if you are in the Los Fresnos area you have to stop by for breakfast. The service here is great. Some of the waitresses don’t speak very good English but they are all very kind & helpful and eager to please. This time I tried the menudo. They have a large bowl for $ 5.99 or a mini bowl for a couple of bucks. It was the best menudo I’ve ever had. The breakfast tacos are huge and packed full of flavorful goodies. All the food comes out quickly.
