I’ve been on the lookout for a great wax place in the area for so long. Thrilled to have found Bare Wax. Wendy is fantastic! A lovely establishment and top quatlity service. Can’t be beat :)!

A wax on your most private of parts is painful, but a visit to Wendy ends up being luxurious. The plush memory foam mattress made me want to sleep (SLEEP!) through a wax! Wendy was extremely attentive and thorough, so there was no opportunity for me to steal the mattress, gorgeous décor, or amazing beauty products ;) Every detail from the friendly welcome at the front desk to the soothing hand wash made my visit to Bare Wax Lounge magic… every strip of the way.

This place was great!!! Totally recommend! The girl who helped me was so easy to talk to it was fantastic! I’ll go again!

This was my first time visiting Bare Wax Lounge, and my appointment was with Wendy. She was very warm and welcoming. As I was checking in Wendy ask if I would like a beverage, then she offered me water, wine, or champagne. I took the champagne, it was a delightful afternoon treat.
I had a bikini wax for my upcoming vacation and Wendy did an excellent job. The salon is beautiful and very clean, and I love the online appointment system. I will be coming back to see Wendy for my waxing needs, and I do highly recommend Wendy to others.

I came here to get my eyebrows done, and this place is amazing. The interior is very clean and welcoming. The owner, Wendy, is super easy to talk to and makes the whole experience really great. She took her time on my brows, which is something I really appreciate because of other experiences at other wax places I’ve always felt rushed out the door. I’m happy that I tried this place out. Definitely will be back!

First time visiting Bare Wax Lounge, and Wendy (owner and wax specialist) was awesome. Very welcoming and professional, the salon is beautiful and very clean (which is most important), online appointment system is easy and helpful. Highly recommend!

Bare Wax Lounge is located in Los Gatos, California right next door to Mr. Pickles Sandwich Shop. Parking is limited but there are 3 reserved spots with signs for BWL. I used to go to a spa in Santana Row for my waxing needs but I spend most of my time in Los Gatos so I did a simple Unilocal search. Thanks to Unilocal I found Bare Wax Lounge. The Los Gatos shop is the second location with their first shop being opened in the Willow Glen area of San Jose (on Brace Ave near La Villa Deli).
I made a call to book my appointment and requested Wendy because all the reviews raved about her waxing abilities. I wasn’t able to get Wendy for the appointment time needed so I booked with Alyssa.
The inside of the Los Gatos shop is cozy, clean and elegant (my inner Charlotte York Goldenbatt definitely approved!). I checked in with the front desk reception and was offered champagne, wine or water. I opted for water — it was filtered, cold and refreshing. Alyssa my esthetician led me to the room where the wax service would take place. The room was spacious, clean and the ambiance was relaxing. On the waxing table was a towel, clean wipe and numbing spray. The service I had today was a Brazilian Wax (not for the faint of heart). This was my first time using the numbing spray and it worked well. Alyssa has a kind, professional and personable demeanor. Out of all the Brazilian waxes I’ve had over the years undoubtedly she did the best (not one hair left, she has great attention to detail).
I used the Unilocal checkin and my Brazilian wax cost $ 45. I booked a follow up wax which will cost $ 50 (the regular price is $ 60). If you book your next Brazilian at the end of your current appointment you get the $ 50 price. I tipped Alyssa 20% because she was awesome– making what can be an unpleasant experience quick and almost painless. I’ve also booked a future eyebrow and lip wax appointments with Alyssa as well.
I’m really happy ((Thanks, Unilocal!!!)) that I found Bare Wax Lounge in Los Gatos and Alyssa who is one of the best estheticians I’ve had to date. Bare Wax Lounge is a winner in my Unilocal Notebook :)

Wendy is great and I’m delighted that she has opened in Los Gatos. She’s a lovely person and she does excellent work. I never used to let anyone do my eyebrows but I get them done now because I know I can trust Wendy and the people who work with her. Both of her locations are attractive and spotless. The on-​line reservation system is so helpful, the price is right plus you can count on things running on time.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I will never go anywhere else to get my brazilian done. Wendy is most probably the best I have experienced. She makes the most awkward situation seem so normal. You feel comfortable and at east. The salon is perfectly located with parking. When entering the salon, you almost feel like you are entering a zen retreat. And for the best part — I truly felt no pain. Her technique combined with the wax she uses minimize any real pain. I have waxed my entire life and I only wished I would have found Wendy and her salon a decade ago.

Wow, Wendy is absolutely amazing at what she does and super sweet as well. She knows exactly what she’s talking about and always makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, the girl at the front desk is very sweet and they make an awesome, professional team. Definitely customer service oriented, but also very trustworthy and make you feel like you’re valued and a friend. Had a whole conversation with Wendy and she did my eyebrows amazingly. Will definitely be going to her for everything. She works at both this one and Willow glen which is an added convenience. Thanks again Wendy and your team!

So happy to see Wendy expanding her business to a second location, she really deserves it because she’s seriously the best in town!
Before Wendy and her staff, I would only get my brows done once every sixth months or so (everywhere else made me break out or just didn’t do my brows justice.) But since going to Wendy’s, I get them done at least once a month, I just love the way my brows look after Wendy’s done with them. They’re very careful and use gentle ingredient.
Also, I really appreciate how advanced her website and scheduling system are. You don’t see this very often, most salons still go by the traditional «call to schedule an appointment.»
I always come in 10 min early just so I can check out the interior design and relax. Her staff members are also very professional and welcoming.
Last but not least, I love her monthly special and package deals, so don’t forget to check her website!

I will follow Wendy and any of her amazing staff wherever they go! I started going to her first store in Willow Glen and have always been blown away with their amazing customer service. They offer a broad range of services at competitive prices. I definitely recommend you to visit either the Los Gatos location or the Willow Glen one, you won’t be disappointed! Also, they have a special right now (⁰¹⁄₂₀₁₆) for a percentage off your first service at the Los Gatos location, so get on it!

The Bare wax lounge is elegant and beautiful I’m inspired by their décor.
I’ve followed Wendy from the Willow Glen location because she has done amazing work on my skin. As an African women my skin can be really irritated with in grown hair bumps. Her technique combined with the natural products she uses have made ALL the difference! I have no hesitation getting waxed as I feared in the past and would hold out for ages because I dreaded the bumps. She’s super fast, super cool, I love her positive vibe and the results are incredible! Go to the Bare Wax Lounge!

I LOVE Bare Wax lounge! Wendy was my waxer and she’s as good at it gets! She is very professional and makes you feel so comfortable! I also love the wax they use. I have never left with any residue left on me and all the products they use smell so good. I highly recommend bare wax lounge to anybody wether you’ve waxed before or not!
