I’ve purchase stunning two rings (one multi irregular shaped diamonds and gold — the other a stunning rose quartz centered around pave diamonds set in rose gold) and a gorgeous set of oblong pave diamond hoop earrings over the last year at Blacy’s and I have to say not only did I get a great price but the quality of the pieces are exemplary. They are all my truly my favorite pieces. Blacy’s staff worked with me and were open to negotiating the price, which I appreciated — a little off here an there can sure make a difference in deciding one piece vs. two. I highly recommend this store and the quality they stand behind. BTW, I live in Danville and schlep all the way to Los Gatos to shop there. They are small — but specialized.

8 years ago, my husband proposed to me with a ring we custom designed at Blacy’s. Jeannette the owner worked with us every step of the way: from initial sketches to making the mold to the final product, she listened to every detail and was so supportive. Just what you need when you’re making a big purchase. The ring is beyond exquisite. Countless strangers remark on it’s beauty and uniqueness. The quality and craftsmanship remains excellent to this day!

I bought my engagement ring many years ago and from time to time, I stop by to get my ring cleaned for free of charge. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful. If you are looking for a jeweler with a trust-​worthy reputation who provides exceptional service, then come here.

This place SUCKS. Clearly don’t know what they are doing. Rude and unprofessional. No wonder the place is always empty…

If you are looking for something truly amazing and don’t want to spend a fortune this place a lot of great deals. I found my wife an amazing neckless and she loves it.

I would not recommend anyone go to this store. I took in a white gold, diamond and Burmese sapphire ring that I inherited from my mother-​in-​law to get a quote to have it altered for me.
«Give me 2 days» said the lady… after 3 weeks I called them to find that they had already partially dismantled the ring, but still no quote! «I’ll talk to my jeweler — give me 2 – 3 days» said the same lady. «Don’t worry — we’ll give you a great price. Another 3 weeks went by, when I finally went in personally to the store to find I have a ring, a bag with diamonds in it and another bag with the sapphire — I’m looking around for another, reliable, jeweler!

Excellent service for many years. The owner and her staff are consistently customer-​oriented, and the prices are what you would expect from a retailer in an upscale suburb.

I brought in a watch to have the strap replaced with a new one that I supplied. The watch uses very common spring bars that any ‘watch repair’ shop should be able to deal with. After 5 minutes of messing around with the watch the person working on it said she didn’t have the proper tool to remove the old strap. Huh? I went online and bought my own spring bar tool and removed the strap in two seconds. A simple watch strap replacement is clearly beyond the capabilities of Blacy’s staff.

You need to make an appointment to view the jewelry, you can’t just walk in. The pieces were not my style, and the quality of the jewelry was less than satisfactory.
I would suggest to the owner to remodel the interior.
Almost every jewelry store in Los Gatos and Saratoga is pretty much like this one. I am very surprised about the great reviews these jewelers have. People assume if a shop is in Los Gatos, it must offer quality products.

I had 5 watches that I didn’t buy there repaired. Very pleasant and helpful service. The Rolex came back repaired for almost $ 100 less than estimated. Seems like a perfect local place to buy jewelry

I give Blacy’s Fine Jewelers a 5STAR because of my great experience there, I was treated with the upmost respect and Jeanette made me feel right at home, I will never go to another jeweler again, this is my spot from here on out. The quality of the jewelry is over par, and i love the ambience of the store. Believe me, I am no high class person and this place worked with me and helped me find what I wanted at an affordable price within my budget. I recommend this place to everyone, you will not be disappointed, ask for Jeanette and your service and jewelry expectations will be met!

I don’t understand the bad reviews on here for Blacy’s. I have always had excellent service when browsing the store (and I don’t look like I’m a millionaire!). My rings are always cleaned, I’m always greeted in an extremely friendly and professional way. I have had two rings, including my engagement ring, re-​sized which only cost me $ 100, so not sure why the other reviewer had a $ 200 charge?! (mine were being made smaller, perhaps that’s why).
We just bought my wedding band from Jeanette, and plan to buy my fiancé’s there too, so would definitely recommend Blacy’s. Check the service out for yourself, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Blacys is the place to go! Jeanette has helped both my sons with all of their jewelery purchases and my sisters and nieces — her ability to figure out what works best and what gives you the most value for the money is astounding! Jeanette will also up grade anything you purchase and apply the full amount to the next purchase!.. additionally with the economy being as it is — we took out pieces that we dont wear and she took them all apart, melted the gold and re set the stones for a fraction of what a new piece would cost! woohoo new things to wear, her on site bench person will always clean and check all of our jewles, even it it wasnt purchased there — Jeanette appraised my grandma’s jewelery and mine. the work was reasonable cost, done swiftly and provided us what we needed for the insurance company– LOVE LOVE her confidentiality, professionalism and wonderful loving way! My husband and I went to Blacy’s to look for his wedding ring, as he didn’t find one at Shane Company which is where we usually go for jewelry. They had a good selection of rings, but I was NOT impressed by the customer service. I found them to be pushy and felt pressured to buy a ring that he liked but wasn’t sold on. The salesperson was prompt in getting back to me about ring prices, but the prices she quoted me over the phone were DIFFERENT from those she quoted me at the store. When I asked about this she made the excuse that it was because the price of gold has gone up. REALLY??? You expect me to believe that after only 3 DAYS the price of gold has gone up so the ring is $ 200 MORE? Yeah, right. So I told her we’d come back and look again after thinking about it, but I kept getting effing calls from her asking when we’re coming in! That by itself turned me off to the place.
Again, their selection looked fine, but overpriced, especially after comparing prices to other jewelry stores and their customer service turned me off to them completely.

I have shopped at multiple jewelery stores in the Bay Area, and I have not found a more sincere, honest and wonderful staff like at Blacy’s.
When my husband and I got married, Semira & Jeanette helped him pick out the most beautiful pearl necklace and earrings for me to wear on my wedding day. The quality was excellent and they created an appraisal that we were able to provide to our insurance.
I only wish my husband knew about Blacy’s when he bought my wedding ring. The stone was set too high and they were able to reset the center stone and repair the platinum prongs to secure the diamond. It looks amazing.
I have referred several friends and family to Blacy’s and they also have had top notch service and pricing. We are not disappointed one bit!
A fun thing they provide is a «wish list» to help my husband know a few things that I have liked in the store. So when a special occassion arises, he can shop with ease.

Oh my Gosh! I took my wedding and engagement ring to Blacy’s to be repaired and cleaned. They did such a wonderful job. My rings look brand new! Gorgeous!

I made the most important jewelry purchase of my life – my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band – from Blacy’s and had a terrific experience. The staff went above and beyond in helping me with my LOOOONG search for the perfect ring. They were amazingly patient and helpful. And their selection is top notch. I’m surprised by some of the other reviews I just saw on here. They don’t reflect the experience I had. I would not hesitate to shop here again and would recommend Blacy’s to any of my friends.

ummmmm what? everyone on the internet now basically now knows that the owner of blacy’s judges its customers with her comment that «your funds must be tight» — that’s why you want $ 200. that comment alone should tell customers to never go there.
if your going to charge people $ 200 for resizing and TRYING on a ring… hum… okay next shop!
again, $ 200 was NEVER refunded. We are sending her to Better Business Bureau.
Credit card company sent us a letter indicating that the merchant did EVERYTHING they could do stop the request for refund.
