He did such a fabulous job, working 7 hours straight… we were all very impressed!!! Carl is exceptional — extremely professional, very hard working & has over 30 years of experience (it clearly shows!).
The amazing thing about Carl is I never told him what kind of music he should play & as our MC, he knew exactly the precise time to make announcements. I didn’t know what type of music to suggest for our ceremony and he chose all the right music. All I mentioned to him was that I didn’t want a few types of songs played during dancing. He selected ALL the music for our Ceremony, our Cocktail hour and during our Reception. Everything at our wedding was absolutely PERFECT!!!
Although I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, when I was engaged & in the process planning my wedding, I was living in a different state (not California) with my fiancé. Thus, I communicated with Carl by e-​mail the majority of the time. Carl has top-​notch customer service, was always enthusiastic, pleasant & answered my questions very promptly.

Carl Mindling is the incredible DJ, ceremony musician, master of technology, pace-​setter, shot-​caller, etc. for weddings and events. Look no further! He was fantastic to work with from the very first contact to the bittersweet end of our wedding. He was immediately responsive, enthusiastic, and helped us organize the timing of our whole wedding– from start to finish. We didn’t realize how critical of a role the MC plays in the whole event, but it was immediately apparent after meeting with Carl and we are so glad we made the decision that we did to hire him. It helped that he has DJ’d a million weddings at the site we chose (Nestldown in Los Gatos) and knew the ins and outs of the layout. However, he does weddings and events all the time all over the bay area so I’m sure he knows the inner workings of other venues as well.
I had the best day of my life at our wedding and the music, dancing and Carl’s keeping things running as smoothly as he did were an enormous part of it. Literally, EVERYONE at our wedding was on the dance floor, even the guests who do not typically enjoy dancing. This was no small feat. The afternoon and evening were stress-​free for me and my husband, our parents, and everyone involved. We got so many compliments, I would recommend Carl to absolutely anyone.
