After I read the reviews, we visited McGill Patio Furniture right away. We went back twice because we bought twice:)! Excellent customer service because both Minnie and Margaux were patient with our shopping; gave my husband and me time to talk about our likes/​dislikes and what our thoughts were. They knew the right time to offer their help. We told them what our needs were; and they matched it to the right model and layout. We bought a patio set and a dining set. We love our choices because it helps make our backyard look like a place of rest and refreshment. And the customer service doesn’t end at the store. Even the delivery guy — Indermeet was so helpful and easy to talk to. He took special care of the furniture and layed it out just as we wanted it. The entire staff was so friendly and kind in their unique special way; and it has been an absolute pleasure working with each of them! I highly recommend McGill Patio Furniture.

High quality teak furniture offering, not a huge selection but what we saw fits our need.
Very very good service. Reading through the reviews before our visit, I thought people were exaggerating but I found in our case the shop lives up to the high expectations. I love it when business owners understand great customer service and have good sales skills. The lady we spoke to (the owner I believe) is really good. The products sold here are expensive but all have great quality. Thanks to the advice and multiple suggestions of the owner we feel really good about McGill Patio and we would recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful teak furniture offerings, great selection, generally strong service!
We bought a slew of furniture from Minnie at McGill patio furniture recently for our home. We found Minnie to be patient, attentive, and not pushy, ultimately helping us find furnishings that both met our needs and budget. Minnie was also very good about communications (email, calls) from start to finish; we felt that we got very good personalized service.
Teak Furniture: We liked the wide range of Indonesian teak furniture pieces McGill had to offer, mostly of outdoor/​patio uses. The style and craftsmanship were clean and functional; generally very sturdy and well-​made, leaving us feeling that we’d invested in good furniture pieces that would last the long-​haul. I hope McGill continues to focus on quality and sourcing the best-​made teak pieces.
Cost: Not cheap. If you’re looking for cheap furniture, then teak is not for you. McGill’s offerings were not inexpensive, but good quality investment pieces meant to be kept and enjoyed over time. We were able to take advantage of «sales» ongoing at the time, which allowed us to buy the right pieces for our needs, tastes, and budget.
Delivery Service: Our only complaint was the delivery service was not properly executed. Delivery guy (owner?) was very nice, but a little clueless on the details of our order. Most of our pieces arrived as expected, albeit 5 days later than first committed. (Delays due to stalled weather sealing.) Also, we didn’t get all the pieces originally promised, which resulted in our having to go back and get loose items ourselves. A bit of a hassle. Minus 1 start for these lapses.
End result was we got furniture we love and enjoy every day, so I’m happy to have bought pieces from McGill. We’ve referred several friends to Minnie since, all of whom have been happy as well. Thanks again!

I feel that making a purchase of teak furniture is an investment due to it durability and cost. When shopping for our patio dining table and chairs we did looked all around at various site and check out the quality, but it was until we found McGill teak Patio Furniture that we were able to compare the quality and price and we found there was a big difference with McGill, it by far was more substantial and better built. We needed to set we selected in two days (table and eight chairs) it it was not a problem, service was very nice, fast without any problems. We very happy with our choices.

We found our perfect patio furniture set at McGills! The service was great, no pressure/​hassle, Minnie spent time with us helping choose the right chairs to match the table but would also work with our set up in the backyard. The overall experience was great. Delivered within a day of ordering and it was fast and clean! We cannot wait to start using our furniture this summer!

I bought a complete patio set from McGill. The set was great but had a few minor issues (I am a slight perfectionist). I talked to Minnie and still can not put in words how great is their customer support. I am 100% please with their product and 1000% pleased with their customer support!

I found McGill Teak Patio Furniture in a web search. I ordered two outdoor chairs with cushions, and a round table. The cushion covers had to be custom made so that took a few weeks. When the furniture came I was impressed by the quality of the workmanship, the comfort, and the design. I’m very happy with the furniture and certainly recommend McGill Teak Patio Furniture. I recently bought a large «Titan» sized teak table, chairs and bench from McGill Teak Furniture. It was a terrific experience. Our saleswoman was well informed and patient, and helped us choose a right sized table that would meet our needs (no sharp corners since we have kids). She also let us try out all their chairs until we found the ones that we most liked, and arranged for delivery over the holiday season as well. The quality of the furniture is a cut above what you can find elsewhere (particularly at a bib box or chain store). The wood is beautiful, thick, well cut, and assembled properly with strongly made and well thought out joins. I’m a stickler for these issues being descended from two generations of furniture makers. The design is also clean and visually appealing. I felt pricing was quite good given the high quality of the workmanship. Finally, I am very pleased with their support after purchase. Some time after purchase, we changed our minds and decided we wanted the furniture sealed (you can order it with or without the furniture). They came out to our house, cleaned the furniture, and then sealed it for us. I can only imagine the difficulty dealing with such a change of heart had we not gone with a local supplier who takes their business and customer service very seriously. Overall, this business is top notch and a welcome addition to downtown Los Gatos.
Update — August, 2014:
We were very happy with our dining set, and so we purchased a bench for the front of our house. I remain very enthusiastic about the quality of wood and workmanship. The joins on the wood are very well executed. It is also worth mentioning that the design is both «sturdy» but also graceful — their design work is coherent and pleasing to the eye. We have a mid-​century modern home, for which our piece works very well (which is hard to find). They have alternatives that would also complement traditional homes. If you bring a picture of your house to the store, they can help you choose an appropriate style (as they did with us).

I initially discovered McGill Teak because they provisioned the comfortable seating area in the center of Santana Row (yes, the really nice deep seating under the oak trees). This is a family-​owned business and they carry the highest quality teak at reasonable prices, with fantastic (Sunbrella) cushions made to order. I’ve had a number of their pieces for several years now (outside year-​around) and they have held up very well, as you would expect. I just went back for more, and once again I was impressed by the selection, personal service, and quality of the materials.
The showroom in Los Gatos gives you a good flavor of what they have, but they carry much more and will work with you. Highly recommended if you want beautiful, durable, top-​quality teak and cushions at reasonable prices, and you like knowing the people you are doing business with.

This summer, I wanted to take advantage of the Bay Area weather and upgrade my patio with some furniture. As always, I checked out Costco for the collection this year. But they didn’t have as much selection as this place. With my indecisive personality, I liked how they had so many different varieties of chairs and table sizes.
Their service is great! Very helpful. They informed me with their 50 year warranty service and fast delivery. All their items felt durable (thick and heavy), you know these things will last for a long time. I really recommend this place if you are looking for to get your money’s worth.

This is the place for top quality outdoor furniture. I did a bunch of research on what the best outdoor furniture is. Teak seems to be the best for durability and ease of care. I search for places that make Teak furniture, and come up with McGill. Minnie was very friendly and helpful — and juggled all the customers flowing in and out of the store very well. The furniture itself is clearly high quality — you can see and feel that for yourself in the showroom. I ordered pieces that weren’t in stock, and got delivery within a week. Great value for the money.

Minnie’s customer service turned a quick look around the store while walking with my wife and baby into a nice bench purchase. I didn’t buy one the day I walked in, but I was so struck by how nice and professional (and not at all pushy) Minnie was that I came back a week later and bought a beautiful teak bench for the front of my house. Yes it was a tad expensive, but the quality of the bench tells me it will be worth the cost in the long hall. I would recommend and go back to them again.

I was initially hesitant in buying any furniture online because I like to touch the material but I found a very reasonable price teak outdoor dining table and chairs and finally took the step of ordering after talking with the owner. I must say we (my wife and I) were very pleasantly surprised when we received the furniture. It was great (and thick) quality teak that would have cost us (really) the double had we ordered in a brand store. We had done our research before.
They were also very courteous and informative on the phone. I highly recommend them.

I have been looking for top quality teak furniture to match what I purchased six years ago. Finally I found McDill Teak. Gill hellped me through the easy process of selecting exactly what I needed. for a good match and then assisted in helping me order cushions as well. I am much more than satisfied. The quality is so superior to anything I ever expected. It took only 10 minutes to assemble and it looks fabulous. I am ordering another piece from him this week! This is definately the best quality teak available online.

Amazing quality and selection!!! Not an ordinary retail store, but if you’re looking for great value for your money, this is the place for you. They have everything from dozens of different chairs to tables, benches and planters.
I’m still waiting on my custom cushions, but so far I’m thrilled with my new benches and my friends love them too.
