Great efficient service this morning. Ari thank you for making our morning experience great! We previously stopped at Starbucks but the attitude was awful so we took our business elsewhere and happy we did! I already love peets but now I prefer it even more!

Been coming to this Los Gatos location every weekend with my little ‘buddy’ for the last few months. The service was always so-so compared to other locations(eg mt view, camden area), but I love Peets coffee over any other brands so no complaints there until… Today’s experience was bad. The barista/cashier’s body language was rude. As I was ordering she leaned forward to me and said something like ‘you want a what. a latte?’ in a dismissive tone of voice. Ok fine. so I said yes medium latte EXTRA shot please and said my name. Went outside because my little ‘buddy’ was a little impatient. I came back a few minutes later and I asked for my order, she pointed out the clear cup on top of the counter. Huh? Smh(in my thought who in the right mind would order a cold drink in a sub 40 degrees weather). I reiterated, she then took the cold drink and rudely poured down into the sink(what a waste) then she made me another drink — in a LARGE cup. wrong again! For those in a know, there is a big difference between a large and a medium size with EXTRA shot. I just sighed and let it go as it was the first morning of the year! I won’t be coming back to this location again even though it’s nearby.

Spend a lot of time at various Peet’s locations but have found that many of their locations charge different prices for the same thing being ordered. Recently ran into this at the Los Gatos store and when I raised the issue, the employee was pretty rude. Luckily, I am the editor of a consumer artist newsletter and will be writing derogatory articles on Peet’s until they change their practices.

I’m in love with Peet’s coffee. Why do people still go to Starbucks these days? Their coffee is so weak and plain. One cup of small Peet’s coffee equals one cup of medium Starbucks! I’m serious!

I love coffee. I must complete work on my computer away from my office too. Peet’s wifi is so bad, I can’t send even small work files in an email. The New York Times website on my iPad took 3 minutes to open– and then, not completely. I understand this is out of Brandon’s hands(the manager, a neat, likeable guy). Everything else is great there.

I have been buying coffee and tea from this Peets for about 20 years. I have to say that this location has always been great but, last 5 or so it has been a total pleasure to frequent. The manager is an amazing guy and really does a great job of getting everything done and having fantastic customer service. The drinks are always good and if there is an issue, they fix it, no fuss! Highly recommend!

I must say, I really like Peet’s Coffee! It was my first time trying Peet’s, and the flavour is definitely better than Starbucks(which I have been drinking for 15 years across multiple states and countries — they got me with the gold stars and free drinks!). We all got the Black Tie Iced Coffee, and it was great. I’m a fan! I’m actually a bit disappointed I didn’t get the great gift card Costco was recently pedaling. Woops… Next time. :)

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook This Peet’s Coffee and Tea is located right next door to my favorite local toy shop The Wooden Horse. It’s funny but most of my family, friends and even my doctor and his family frequent this coffee spot. What I love about Peet’s Coffee and Tea is the aroma of coffee beans– actually being freshly ground and brewed. This is a great spot for a hot cup of coffee and a pastry. They have an excellent selection of baked goods. The staff at this location is nine out of ten times friendly even under the most stressful circumstances when the coffee shop is packed with demanding customers. It’s clean inside and everything is well stocked. I’ve purchased K-Cups, whole coffee beans, contigo thermal commuter tumblers, citrus bread, snicker doodles(my son loves them). My current favorite drink is the: Black Tie!!! The Black Tie is cold brewed coffee, iced with condensed milk. It’s so refreshing and I’m hoping this is a long term menu item :) Noelle’s Notes Great customer service Amazing coffee Iced Black Tie is amazing!!!

The service is the best thing about this Peet’s. The baristas are quite friendly and happy to help, even when you get the wrong drink and want a new one made. Beverages themselves, however, are a bit lacking. I ordered a iced dirty chai and it was ok. My girl got a hot one but received an iced one. Ooops. No problem, like I said, the baristas were apologetic and made her another right away. The hot one she received had no real flavor though. Just tasted watery. Sigh. The establishment itself wasn’t the cleanest coffee shop I’ve seen. The garbage and«coffee condiments» weren’t located in the cramped corner where you pick up your drink but nearly across the entire store. They do have plenty of inside and outside seating though!

Went to Phil’s first because you can get what you want, but the line there looked to be at least 30 minutes. The line here was much faster. Peet’s gets a low rating because it took a long discussion to try to get the coffee I wanted: iced mocha with more coffee than milk. Didn’t really get what I wanted when it was all said and done. The coffee was OK. For what these places charge for coffee and considering they are made to order, I should be able yo get it how I want it.

I like this Peet’s– it reminded me of my old one. Big store with tons of seating. Staff was efficient and nice especially for a busy Mother’s Day Sunday. Would go back!

Been coming here about 2 yrs. Recently their coffee has tasted horrible — like it’s burnt– time & time again. I gave up trying. Ok otherwise. But I’m going elsewhere for my coffee.

Was here today with a friend after we had gone to an event the night before, so, we must go to Peet’s, this is one of his go to places. They only have one restroom here, so you might have to wait. There was a long line, a beautiful day outside, so people want to be out and enjoy the weather. Los Gatos is a beautiful city, and it was a beautiful day to be out and about.

The corner spot on this older strip mall collects a lot of Sunday loungers. It’s warm considering it is supposed to be fall. So we grab some iced drinks to go. Blended matcha, black tea. They got it to us right quick. There were a few places to sit but it seemed like for some reason we didnt fit. So took it to the park and enjoyed the sunset

A coffee shop CAN change. With the slide in service and no frequent buyer rewards program at Los Gatos Roasting Company, we’ve been finding ourselves back at this Peet’s again more and more often. The rude girl who prompted my previous negative review is long gone and they have more good people working there again. And, somehow, some way, they’ve managed to speed up the drink making process. There’s still a line out the door most mornings which should serve as a welcome sign for a Philz, Blue Bottle, or Barefoot type of shop to open a location somewhere near that LG Blvd/Blossom Hill corner.

Tried the new Mayan Mocha drink, and it was not good at all =/I always fall for those limited-time drinks! Otherwise, the lattes, coffee, and regular mochas are great! They don’t make it super sweet like Starbucks does, and the espresso is nice and tasty =)

Thought I was in a Starbucks for a sec. This place is crazy packed for a Thursday at 9:30am. Obviously everyone must be here and not at the Starbucks across the street. I am a spoiled Los Gatos Coffee Roasting person. Quality beans with good bites to eat and nice location. This Peets location is just too loud, too crowded, line is too long, too slow moving. Even all the outdoor tables were taken. The fact that there was extra noise due to some sign updating didn’t help either. However Ben who took my order was so nice and helpful. And the coffee master still kicked out a lovely blend. If you like Peets I prefer the Peets location at El Paseo instead because it’s calmer and not as hectic and you can actually hear yourself think. But this will do if you are close by.

I quit the coffee for a bit, but I’m back on the caffeine wagon, and a weekday regular at this location. again. it’s a mostly new crew since my last review, but with a few familiar faces. ah, like the old days… hahaha. the current weekday crew is great. most of the baristas are very friendly and make a good drinks. today was an exception, but not holding that against the others. the usual guy wasn’t there, and the fill-in girl didn’t seem to have it together. drink was wrong, and she seemed really scattered(kept complaining to the other guy there how tired she was). still a place to avoid on weekends… my opinion.
