Sunny Cuts

perfect place for senior ladies. I went in for a fill on my nails & the lady used pink filler instead of white. It was very noticeable. I paid extra for crappy nail art to hide it. Plus this place was very expensive.

I have been going to Sunny Cuts for — gheez — a very long time. Many years ago, I went to a more ‘designer-​esque’ salon, but the prices were horendous and the quality was not consistent.
At Sunny Cuts — Toni and Kim make you feel so welcome and the hair cut, dyeing and pedicures are of exceptional quality at a very good value. More important, they have become friends; we love hearing about our adventures from the last time we visited. They went above and beyond for my elderly mother; very respectful and patient.
I highly recommend them for the woman (and man) who are into quality and attentiveness, rather than designer (and pricey).

Our family has been going to Le for more than 20 years. She has done mine, my husband’s, my mother’s, father’s, etc… but I think that the real test is that of my 16 year old daughter. She has a thick lovely, wavy mane of hair and as is appropriate for a 16 year old young lady, she’s very particular about hair cuts, color, etc… We moved to NC a long time ago, but whenever we visit we stop in to have Le and Kim do our hair, brows, etc…
More than that, I want you to know that when my mother was terminally ill and unable to come in for service, that Le packed up her stuff and went to my mother to do her hair for her. It lifted my mother’s spirits and eased her difficulties. It was a loving gift of time, talent and friendship that was cherished by my mother and by me. It’s not that I suggest that Le goes to every invalid client’s home, but it is to illustrate that she not only owns this friendly establishment, but truly cares about the clients that often become very long time friends.
As another reviewer mentioned, Le is talented and quick. She gives a great cut and if you ever need it tweaked, just say so. She is always willing to listen and change course as necessary. While I often just walk in, she also takes appointments and if you want something like a perm and cut or cut and color, I think it’s a good idea. So… If you are looking for a great deal and great service, give Le and her staff a try.

I like coming to this place! I had received a recommendation from someone I work with about this place, and I decided to try it out. The owner, Le is very talented when it comes to doing my curly hair. I have a lot of hair and she does it quickly and easily. Kim does my eyebrows and upper lip and does a great job. You can’t beat the price either! I see families coming to this place for their haircuts. They must be doing something right. Le has owned this place for a long time. She and her staff do a great job! Give it a try, you won’t be dissapointed.

Hi! I come here to get my eyebrows (and apparently my lip now) waxed. They do a really good job here and its really affordable. For my eyebrows that resembled wooly mammoths and «light haired» lip it cost only $ 14 and they did a great job.
It seems that they mostly have the older folks in here for hair cuts so if your looking for a fancy doo, I dont know if this would be the place.
