The Yellow Brick Road

My girlfriend’s watch broke when she dropped it a few weeks ago, and we saw this store while walking down the street one Saturday. We thought we’d stop in and ask what it would take to fix the watch, and the gentleman graciously repaired it in a few minutes, free of charge! Plus, their awesome golden retriever, Riley, was there keeping us company the entire time. Great people, great service, great dog, thanks!

So nice to walk into a store in Los Gatos and feel welcomed. Gary and Diane are very professional and know their business. They have an amazing variety of jewelry, we have bought family gifts as well as our Wedding Bands there, and couldn’t be happier. Our daughter lives to go in and say hi whenever we walk by, that says a lot about how nice they are.

I have always had excellent service here and simply LOVE their jewelry. Their wide variety of jewelry helps you pick out the perfect gift for yourself! The jewelry repair they have done on my antique pieces is superb. Highly recommend them.
Yellow Brick Road is located right on North Santa Cruz Avenue, on same side near Apple Store but closer to the Town Plaza. Conveniently located where you can have a quality lunch/​dinner choices or a cup of coffee or cocktail nearby. Their store is comfortable and inviting. They give you space to browse without hovering like other places do.
Gary & Diane are very nice locals and I enjoy striking up conversations. They also have two stunningly beautiful Goldens who could win any beauty pageant. These gentle family members help keep the time you spend here looking for the perfect piece relaxing and comfortable.

I randomly stumbled upon this store while walking around, shopping in LG. The night before one of my necklace chains broke during a party, when someone came to hug me… I think it got caught in my hair and his sweater.
Anyways, I walked in and they graciously helped me. I showed them my necklace. I knew it was such a simple fix if you have the right tools (which of course I didn’t have). He took a look at it and he did it for free! Totally made my day.
I am hoping they fixed it for free because they are super nice like that, and not because I came in with a cheapy necklace dressed like a bum! The cheap necklace carries great meaning for me so I am grateful that they fixed it and hooked it up (literally)!!! Thank you so much! Super appreciate the awesome customer service. I know where to come next time for my other jewelry needs.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. They have an amazing selection of colorful jewelry, definitely the best in Los Gatos, and I’ve been a loyal customer for the past decade. The owners are friendly (if slightly eccentric) and I always enjoy chatting with them.

Please do NOT shop here, people are dishonest… they only think about their pockets. I wanted to sell back a Tacori ring to them that I purchased. which I find out later they should not have sold it in the first place as they are not authorized Tacori jeweler. You learn these things later. They do buy jewelry from you which I did sell my old stuff, due to my divorce. therefore, got this bloody one caret ring from them. Now they will not buy back. So dishonest… do NOT purchase anything from these guys.

Always walked by their windows and admired the sparkly things, so when «his» b-​day came around this year, the kids & I went in to look at their stainless steel men’s bracelets. Found one we liked, spent plenty on it and left happy.
It broke almost immediately after he get it so we took it back for repair — that was back in February and i’m writing this review on July 21^st — still don’t have a bracelet!!!
Finally told them I was tired of the «i don’t knows» and the run around about where our bracelet was and told them we’d be in to pick up our refund. Owner said nope — you can have a store credit — thats it.
I’m with reviewer Dan B below — these guys are slimy, dishonest, disregard the concept of customer service, and will NEVER have my business again!

I won’t bore you with the tedious details of my transaction, involving unscrupulous sales tactics and bold-​faced lying. Suffice it to say the people running this place are the sleaziest crooks I have personally encountered in the bay area. You can quote me on that.
