This is really for Sabrina Dunbar in the San Anselmo location! Because of her this is my go to for myself and gifts for the ones I love! Her customer service goes above and beyond anyone’s expectations. I consider her my personal shopper, just after one visit she knew what I would like for myself and even my mother in law! I wish she was in the Los Gatos location now that I have relocated here. Whenever I am back in Marin I stop in to see her! She also does the initials there!

I bought a blouse from this place. the tag said«mud-pie». since I have never heard of it, I googled the site to check out when I got home only to find that the same item I bought was $ 15 less than what I paid at Toss. I took the blouse back yesterday to ask them to match the price. They told me that since it was not from their website-although I noticed quite of stuffs are from Mud-Pie, they could not adjust the price. I asked the refund. I did ask their employee who was assisting me at the first time about their return policy, which I was told 14 days with the receipt, she did not say or mention that it was store credit not the actual refund. I had to reason this conversation I had with their employee so that she could refund my money not the store credit. The store looks nice but they will need to be bit more smart about pricing. With internet easily available for us to seek information, this was very disappointing. I won’t shop here again. If I want a Mud-pie product, go to their website: I do not even want to give one star to this boutique.

Yesterday was the second time in 2 days that I went to this store. The merchandise is cute and there was a good sale. The manager and customer service is very poor so I will not return. On my second visit, i bought 2 insulated lunch bags. The manager put one inside the other before I left. I went across the street and had an early dinner. Then I took the one bag out of the other bag and looked at it. The one bag had torn the insulation badly of the other bag. I ran back across the street and the store had just closed but the manager and another employee were inside. I knocked on the window and the manager motioned to go away. I kept knocking. Finally she opened the door and I told her how she had torn the bag. She said she had to go to a meeting, she had to go to a second job, her cash register was closed, etc and that she would not help me. I asked if I could just exchange the bag and she said to come back tomorrow. I told her she had caused the damage and I had bought this for a gift. She said no she would not help. I don’t live in Los Gatos and was not happy about having to drive back when she could have exchanged it right then. She didn’t apologize but just said come back tomorrow. So i went to a nearby bench and sat down. I watched and a few minutes later, the manger casually left in no apparent hurry. While on the bench, I looked inside the second bag. The insulation was cracked. So both of my purchases were ruined and of shoddy construction. The manager was completely unhelpful and didn’t care. I recommend that customers avoid this shop.

The absolute best place to find gifts of all sizes! They have wonderful bags in all sorts of patterns and sizes and have very reasonable prices. Just went in today to grab any last minute items for a trip to Hawaii. Walked out with a great beach bag, make up bag, and a sun hat! This is my go to place for birthday gifts and anything else.

The merchandise brought me in. Others have raved about it; they all love the designs, and especially the bags. My young daughter and I went in to pick up a bag on Dec 23– 2 days before Christmas. The only one that they had in the style we liked was on the floor; being used to hold other bags. It was a little dirty, which we pointed out. The nice lady behind the counter started to clean the spots with a wipe. When I asked if they would do a discount, since it was a floor model and a little dirty, she had to ask the manager. Ms W came over with a major attitude. She was not nice, stated that they would only discount if there was clearly something wrong with the merchandise. I pointed out that it was dirty — went nowhere. We started looking around and after Ms W, still with the attitude, asked us if we needed something else, we left. Good merchandise is one thing. Bad customer service /attitude is another.
