Wang W Rosemary, DDS

This is for her Hayward office but I think it should apply here as well:
AVOID AT ALL COST! Extremely rude and unprofessional. This practice should be closed down for uncleanliness and her licence should be revoked for how she treats her patients!
The dentist, Rosemary is the worst doctor ever and not to mention dirty. She stopped working on a patient to come talk to me at the front desk with her gloves on. Then as I’m asking her questions she leaves me hanging in mid-​sentence to go back to the patient with the same gloves on. GROSS after she touched paperwork and everything else at the counter she touched the inside of that patient’s mouth. Poor guy! I was so disgusted I left, run people don’t sacrifice your health.

We came to this office twice. On our first visit the dentist wasnt there. But the ladies who cleaned my daughters teeth were very nice. We had to come back to see the dentist and get sealants put on.
Our next visit was with Dr. Wang she is also very nice, although her English is limited. I had a very difficult time communicating with her.
She said my childs top jaw/​palate was too narrow (which it is!) She showed me a device called an expander that she would like my daughter to wear. It was a bit pricey and our insurance didnt cover it. I was skeptical and wanted a second opinion.
Here’s the weird part– She said if I didnt want to get the expander just have my daughter eat whole apples. What?!
So, got the second opinion– this dentist said he wouldnt recommend the expander. I liked this new office and trusted the dentist and decided to switch to him.
I called Dr. Wangs office to get the x-​rays transfered to the new dentist. My child has a cavity that needs to be filled. The lady on the phone sounded like she was driving. The office number isnt actually to an office. She wasnt very nice. She is also making it extremely difficult to get the xrays.
They dont have digital copies (like most dental offices. So the previous Unilocal reviewer was wrong about this dr being ‘state of the art’.) She said to just have the xrays re-​done. She was questioning the type of insurance saying they would cover it. She was missing the point that I didnt want my daughter to have xrays twice in a matter of months.
She finally agreed to mail the new office the xrays. But said Id have to come to the office sign some papers and pay $ 20 (I have two kids– so it would be $ 40) What?!
I am not taking off work and paying $ 40. Our new dentist was shocked. She said she has never heard of such a thing. They will be contacting Dr. Wang and will try to get the xrays for me. We’ll see if they can. ?
Bottom line– AVOID!!!

This is the worst dentist, she is fraudulent, i wouldn’t allow heer to work on my dog… Do not go to her

For the last nine years Rosemary Wang has been my dentist. I have found her to be very a competent dentist who keeps up with the state of the art (as far as this layman can tell). She has a very gentle and
confidence inspiring touch and I would not hestitate to recommend her
to anyone seeking dental care.
