Garden Gate Day Spa & Salon

Okay, so I had purchased this as a Groupon and I was decently impressed. The place is modern, and pretty clean inside. The people who work there are absolutely amazing. The girls do whatever it takes to make you have a pleasant and relaxing day. I don’t know if they hear it often, but they provide superb customer service.
The pros of this place include the mineral pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. They are wonderful to relax. The hot chocolate and biscotti are also great. My massage and foot treatment were also pretty good.
However, the cons included a broken steam room (I think for what I paid I should have gotten a credit because I mainly purchased this to use the steam room), the appointment times got messed up because the masseuse was running late, and lastly the girl who gave my facial had a bad case of the sniffles (head cold). The poor girl should have been at home that day especially because she is in direct contact with people faces, but I guess everyone has to make a living.
Overall, this is a nice place to have a day at the spa. However, make sure the steam room is working so you can get the full bang for your buck. Again I must commend the staff! They are amazing, and they were very apologetic for the schedule mess up. Check this place out, and I think you will be satisfied!

This place is a hidden gem that I came across by chance while looking at Groupon. My wife and I were visiting from California and I thought she could use a nice massage. We didn’t know what to expect. Once there, we could see that the facilities were modern and clean. (Don’t be discouraged by the rural location.) The staff were friendly and accommodating. They managed to get my wife in the same day.
My wife got the Chocolate Indulgence package which was discounted at the time to $ 89. She was very pleased with her experience. Her masseuse was Vanessa who is also the Spa Director. She is anxious to return.
The address Unilocal originally had for the spa was incorrect. I updated it so hopefully it is reflected soon.
There is also a nice bistro right next door to the spa that was highly recommended but we didn’t get a chance to try it.
