Hope is so kind! She will make an effort to get something special ordered for you if she can. This is the place to go to get the cheapest airplane around. Montana de Oro is close by too.

I truly love this place. Not that many people come here but if you’re making a trip to MDO then it’s worth stopping by! I love their houseplant selection most of all and have gotten several plants there, including two passion flowers and several pothos plants. The staff is clearly knowledgeable about the plants they stock and gave me several tips about how to care for my houseplants(especially to water them with leftover black tea). It is a beautiful place and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I just finished buying two blue berry bushes and had a lot of great help from Hope, Mother of Hope and Hanna! Great service and selection. My wife and I were having no luck funding blue berry bushes but Los Osos Valley Nursery had a great variety. The three H’s even was so kind to explain what type of soil and give me a bag so I can have great success with having a happy bush. I will definitely go back for more! Ryan

The Los Osos Valley Nursery is a hidden gem very close to the entrance of the Montaño Del Oro State Park! I used to frequent this place when I lived in SLO and went to Cal Poly. Every time I visit this nursery they have some new and exciting plants I have never seen or uniquely glazed and shaped pots! Some of their plants are super reasonable with air plants starting at only $ 1. I prefer this place, there ambiance, and customer support over all the other nurseries in the area. I love this place!

Great selection, friendly and expert advise. I love coming here and chatting with the owner or her daughter about all matters of gardening. Look for the black cat panther.

I grew up in Osos and was frequently brought by my grandparents to select one of those containers of live ladybugs for no reason other than it was awesome to play with ladybugs as a kid. I always enjoyed meandering around the grounds of the nursery, checking out the wide selection of beautiful plants. Recently I moved back to the area after being away to college and revisited this wonderful place. It is still exciting yet peaceful to roam around this nursery. You always hear windchimes as you’re shopping, and you will often run into the adorable and affectionate black cat who occupies the grounds. I have recently gotten interested in succulents and this place sells a variety of them for a better price than most places will sell them. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for anything garden-related.

This is a nice, old-fashioned family-run nursery. It is not your typical big-box-store garden center. The people who own it are kind and helpful. They have a good selection of plants and can order something for you if they don’t have it in stock. They also have some nice pottery and garden art. Los Osos Valley Nursery is not as fancy as the other nursery in town, but I don’t get sticker shock every time I go there, either.
