Jack In the Box

Stopped by yesterday June 27,2016 on our way back to Los Angeles, big mistake!!! took forever to place our order Very dirty. Does anyone clean, poor customer service! especially the girl in the front taking orders, she was staring off into space or ???
very rude and disrespectful. Needs to be trained more, more, more etc. and learn manners she lacks communication skills plus she has a smart ass mouth. BEWARE!!!

Just passing through and thought i would stop to get something eat. That was a huge mistake. This place is nasty! Walked in and you could smell the bathrooms outside the door. Flys everywhere. No joke every single table is dirty remind you they are not even busy. The employees are standing behind the counter doing nothing. Food and trash all over the floor. Ewww. When I asked the employee to wipe down some tables she made it seem like it was a problem and didn’t even use a sanitizing spray bottle she just used a wet cloth. I work in an actual restaurant as a server, this is sad. I would hate to see what the kitchen area looks like.

The only way to describe the food depressing. It was soggy, poorly assembled and tasted like it was heated by placing it between a truckers ass and his seat cushion. Do not eat here. The choices in the area are all bad but this is the worst.

I wouldn’t normally wite a review for a fast food place but I had such a good experience here when we stopped on a road trip. They were really friendly and helpful. Our food came very quickly AND it was clean– an A rating.

Regular jack in the box but bummed the drive through was closed off by using two inside chairs to block the road.
It was also confusing getting in the parking lot at night. I missed the right turn and had to go to the stoplight and make a u turn.
Restrooms weren’t the worst but could use a little freshening up also no baby changer…:/
Speed of service on a Saturday night was acceptable about 10 minutes for 2 burgers but it was packed so I forgive them a little

We were there at 6pm. The store was clean so no complaints there. Order at the counter, get a number and they bring out your food to the table. Service was friendly. Food takes longer cause they cook your food to order. It doesn’t sit under a hot lamp waiting for a buyer.
A bit more expensive than a regular fast food joint…

If I could leave a no star I would. The employees are lifeless the food is overlooked, no napkins, flies are at the counter. The wait is about 45 min for food. The only good thing is they mess up your order and give you better fries or a bigger drink. Your best chance is the drive through. But you might as well go somewhere else. Save your time and skip this place. The bathrooms are dirty and is just a waste of life.

20 minutes to get order. They had no milkshakes, ice tea, or diet Dr. pepper. Slow slow service…

This is a real dirty Jack in the Box! Flys every where inside, trash cans full, tables are left with food trays, and debris on the tables and floors. Just nasty! JIB corporate, how do you respond to this?!

Out of everything and so so slow. Worst Jack in the Box I’ve ever been to. The bathrooms are completely filthy. Watched a girl stick new hoses into the large soda machine while her left foot was stepping on them with her dirty tennis shoe.

I’m gonna hop on the bad review train here. I went to this Jack, not once but twice. It was passing through both times but the first time it was at like 3:30 am so I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt «maybe they were short staffed and tired?» NOPE. The first time was definitely worse, we waited about 30 minutes for our orders. We were the only ones there… The bathrooms are disgusting. The people aren’t very nice and there’s a machine above the door that when you walk through, it sounds like a lawn mower turning on or something. No joke, that machine made my sister scream when it turned on.
The second time we went there we didnt use the bathroom, and we ordered very simples things. My sister and I ordered (separately i might add) a portabello mushroom buttery jack meal. I ordered curly fries and she asked for regular. The girl called out #428 … we were just standing there confused bc we were 420 and 421, and there was no one else. she kept calling it, so I went up, she said «oh sorry, the 0 looks like an 8» …so does she do that all the time? lol Maybe shes’s new… idk. We got our food and took off in the car, our mistake. She gave us both some kinda pepper buttery jack and both of us got curly fries. didnt think it was that hard of an order. I thought maybe the cooks made the mistake but when I looked over the receipts again it definitely didn’t say portabello mushroom, she didnt even put it in right. Twice. Maybe she cant hear well? idk… at least the burger she gave us wasnt that bad i guess.

Terrible. Super dirty & filthy, staff lacks and the wait is enormous. The need up to 30 minutes to get your order ready…

I barely give 1 star. But i should say this i hate this jack in the box. There are only 2 customers waiting in line the drive thru lane, yet, they took forever. Then, they handed me this vanilla milkshake with sticky and melted whip crème on top dripping on the side. Who serves that? I hope they’ll improve their service. They are located in a place where a lot of people stop by. (Lost hills)

If I could give this place a zero … I would. Line was super long and their service was SUUUUUUPER SLOW. The tacos weren’t all that great and my curly fries were over cooked. Bleh. Never coming back HERE again.

Horrible. Waited 30 minutes with everyone else to get food then they forgot the utensils for my food… And that I ordered for take in. I rarely write reviews. 2stars cuz I’m too hungry to care at this point.

Do you wonder why this Jack in the Box has such a low rating? If you ever find yourself unfortunate enough to eat here you’ll ask yourself why the rating is so high.
This place is FILTHY! The proprietor of this establishment should be ashamed of this place. There is trash and old food, ketchup and whatever else on every filthy table, floor and the counters. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms.
Avoid this place at all cost!!!

3÷16÷15. One of the worst Jack’s I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting… it literally almost killed me! Even before I went inside…
After I parked my car I was walking across the parking and some crazy car speeding through the lot barely misses me and then stops. The dude inside yells at me, «They have sht inside. Be careful!» Like what T F??? Yes, those were his EXACT words. What could that mean? (Alright, so I probably wouldn’t have died… but you know…) I wanted to say something, but he immediately raced off. Still couldn’t really find the words (what do you say to that???), so I guess no loss…
So then I got to the door and carefully opened it expecting to see some brown smelly stuff waiting to soil my shoes. I stepped in and sniffed… hmm, smells normal. Well, I dunno what that guy meant.
Then I looked around, and other than the one family of 4 sitting at one of the tables, the place was empty but looked like a hurricane went through it! There were trays left on many of the tables, and TONS of numbers just sitting on table tops! Trash all over the floor, and all over the other furniture. Hmmmmmmm…
Then I got to the counter to order. And… stood there. Yup. Just stood there, for 2min. I start to hear BOOMING laughing coming from the back. It continues. Then gets louder and louder until I find what looks like the manager (based on his grey shirt and slacks) standing 5ft away. He glances at me and says, «I’ll be right with you» then disappears again. Then another min passes and a girl appears and also reiterates, «I’ll be right with you.» Then disappears. … And finally, she comes back and takes her station behind the register…
So I order:
1. Bacon & Swiss Butter Jack [small meal] $ 6.49: Well, I normally do like Jack and most of the burgers I’ve had at various locations have been pretty juicy and tasty. But this one was dry and just overall a mess. So I dunno if it really represents the chain’s usual quality. Anyway, tasted I guess alright. Had a nice sauce. But as I said the meat was worse than normal. As for this butter thing – yeah I see grease smeared on the bun, but it didn’t really make anything taste better. The bread was nice though – was kinda sweet like a Hawaiian roll. Fries didn’t taste as good as normal either. Welp, compared to my normal expectation of Jacks around the world ²⁄₁₀.
Back to the story…
So as I sat there eating and taking pics of my food, 2 groups of people enter at different times. Both times they stood there at the counter, like I did, and stood, and stood. One girl started tapping on the counter to try to get someone’s attention. But no one came. But we all heard the booming laughing… laughing constantly. The laughing was always there… mocking us…
I can still hear the coliseum-​shaking laughing as I write this review. It haunts me as it taunts me. Evil permeates this place.

Ugh socal tap water. Don’t drink it!
Jack in the box has the best curly fries and the burgers are pretty decent. I got the Jumbo Cheese Burger, which I think was the same size as any other sandwich. But it was just $ 2.99. The patty was meh though. I never wanna find out what’s in it…

YES! I have to do it! I just gave Jack in the Box 4 stars! Its my guilty road trip pleasure!
I don’t know why but I absolutely LOVE the Ultimate Cheeseburger… its like the sex panther of my cologne collection… you don’t get it very often, but when you do… DAYUM! So needless to say, I was on a road trip, and I had to stop for some of that Ultimate Cheez goodness!
This location was much like the rest, except for a few subtleties I noticed… first, they gave me a lot of fries! I always order curly fries with my UCB, and this time they definitely gave a hearty portion… SCORE! That being said, they did leave mustard out of the UCB, but it was still pretty tasty and I was starving so I didn’t really notice… and the staff here were super nice too, so they get a solid 4 stars in my book! Rock on, Jack in the Crack!

Stopped by this Jack In The Box because we didn’t want to stop at Kettleman City because the water at Kettleman is nasty!
This is a new modern Jack In The Box that has a drive thru and it’s open 24 hours everyday!
Ordered our food, and for some reason even though it wasn’t busy or anything, it still took quite longer than it should have in my opinion.
1 Regular Vanilla Milkshake
1 20 Piece Chicken Nuggets
1 Large Curly Fries
The food tastes as it normally does at any given Jack In The Box. Nothing special. The location was clean, because well it was late at night and there was a worker cleaning the tables, floors, and chairs. Although the garbage cans outside of this location, were pretty full and needed to be emptied…
Service wasn’t bad either, the cashier was friendly and helpful.
