Wow, I have been to a lot of haunted houses but have never been this amazingly unimpressed. This one is so bad that I literally added the business into Unilocal so I could share my experience. Bought our tickets via a Groupon(the deal was $ 15 for two, normally that is single ticket price) and we immediately lowered our expectations upon arriving. Essentially this is a crappy abandoned apartment building that I guess the facilitators rented to use. We stood outline for an absurd hour despite the line in front of us being relatively short. No port-o-pottys provided or any restroom options nearby, which made waiting more miserable. Once finally inside the decorations were extremely minimal; nothing really creative to be seen here, mostly strobes, red lights, and sheets hanging from the ceiling. The overly long walkthrough includes a trip to the basement where you venture down some hazardous dark stairs(thanks iPhone flashlight). Most of the acting left something to be desired — a lot of young kids and people in masks you could buy at Target. Honestly it kind of felt like it was being put on by a Church or a Boy Scout Troop — that kind of vibe. Call me a haunted house snob if you’d like, but trust me — your money is better spent elsewhere. This season I have personally been to Darkness Falls at the Asylum and found it to be MUCH better in every regard. I have also visited The Morgue(albeit quite some time ago) and remember it being far superior as well.
