Tonight I had dinner in the café. Sadly the service was not very good. They had no bus people therefore the servers and even the cook were trying to do everything. Naturally when you are short staffed you hurt your service. My heart went out to my server and the cut.
The food was very good. I ordered the grilled filet 5 ounce seasoned. I like my beef very well done. I had to send it back twice to finally get it cooked well done. It was very tender and flavorful. The filet also came with a side salad and choice of a side. I opted for the baked potato. Wish they had some green onions or chives to go with it but they did not. The salad had different kinds of lettuces with carrots, Shredded cheese, cucumber, and baby tomatoes. My server and the cook we’re very hospitable.
