The best of Louisville indeed! Best businesses from Louisville have gathered at Play to give us a preview of their products and show us just how good they are. There were tons of things to try here, from Makers Mark to The Comfy Cow, Tito’s Vodka to Bluegrass Brewing Company. This event sure bought the Louisville pride in me. It was nice to dress up for this event, it was pretty crowded and everyone was looking real fancy. Some of the vendors I got to sample were Makers Mark, Tito’s vodka, Heine Bros’ coffee, Boombozz taphouse, Old 502 Winery, Joy Luck, BBC, Jack Fry’s, and of course comfy cow with some real tasty flavors! Yum. The food was amazing, if I had to pick one as my favorite it would probably be Joy Luck but honestly everything here was my favorite :) because it’s from Louisville! I like the red carpet set up at the entrance, taking a couple of pics there was pretty cool. Having the event at play couldn’t have been better I mean the setting was just excellent. We also took some pictures at the magbooth inside play! And I wish I could have entered the $ 10 spin the bottle but oh well. It’s great that Louisville Magazine partnered up with National MS society to bring us this lovely event at a great place and I am looking forward to next year’s Best of Louisville!

Always an amazing event, with tons of great local food and trendy people. The atmosphere of Play is perfect, with large, modern architectural details and lots of big rooms with even bigger bars. The«Best» nominees line the venue with an array of fine food and drink, plus coupons and free stuff for the taking. Nice. I was shocked at the many snappy dressers at this event, it was a very fashionable scene and I was gawking around at outfits most the night as I drank on 502 winery Chardonnay, which was quite good. Lovely time each year, well organized and lots of fun for a good cause – much support and love!

«Best of Louisville» is very fitting because I have to say this was one of the BEST events I have ever attended in Louisville. The red carpet was rolled out and there was $ 5 valet parking at the entrance of Play. Dressed in my favorite summer dress, I couldn’t miss the opportunity for a red carpet photo. The people greeting me and giving out wrist bands were very fun and friendly. The venue was beautiful. Play was a great choice! The building is huge with cool bars, stages and private rooms. The number of great restaurants and vendors was spectacular. I enjoyed the Markers Mark cocktails, beer samples from BBC and KY Ale and the Tito’s vodka drinks prepared as part of the VIP experience. I sampled tasty food from Jack Fry’s, Joy Luck, Boom Bozz and Mark’s Feed Store. There were amazing raffles and fun prizes. Needless to say, I look forward to attending this event next year.
