Ate mid afternoon breakfast here. My friend and I both ordered biscuit and gravy breakfast. This was a bowl not cup of sausage gravy. Plenty of gravy! Tasty. Biscuits were good. The home fries were just average. Service was slow but very pleasant and professional server.

HORRIFIC! Seriously, stood at the door for 10 minutes before someone would seat us. Person tabbing out folks just kept saying, «be with you shortly.» Couple other employees would chime in and say same thing. After 38 minutes we were waited on… Here’ s How it Went: … 1. Ordered Cobb salad — Received some type of chicken Southwestern Salad 2. Orders Egg Breakfast — Received 2 pieces of cold, greasy toast. 3. Pancakes that sat in the window for 20 minutes 4. Meatloaf Open Face Sandwich — Burned So, the waitress who didn’t know her name… who wouldn’t make eye contact with… who was being punished by the kitchen staff(so it seemed) did this. 1. Delivered THEWRONGSALAD to the table 2. Stated the bacon was unfit so she wouldn’t serve. Eventually she went into the kitchen to the stove grabbed my bacon threw it on my plate in the window, walked around where she is to pick food up and brought it to me. She then DELIVEREDBURNED hash browns that looked they had been on the floor and scooped up. The bacon was there, with my cold toast, greasy eggs, burned hash browns, 3. She told kitchen staff she needed powdered sugar on the ice cold pancakes so it clumped together when she delivered to table. 4. Meat loaf my daughter just ate because of hypoglycemia. When we tabbed out the manager asked me… how was everything. I stated, Absolutley AWFUL, the worst service and food we had ever had. She looked at me and said sorry to hear that she would give us 20% OFF!!! What a slap in the face. IFTHISISN’T ENOUGH… WECOULDN’T GETBACKTONASHVILLEBECAUSEMYHUSBANDTHREWUPWITHDIAREHHEATHEWHOLEWAYHOME. Obviously Food Poisioning. As we stopped at a walk in clinic they advised us to contact Health Dept and to drink lots of fluids, etc… What a hole in the wall. Bob Evans has always been a place we stop but the service, attention to detail, courteous, efficiency in this place is a insult to the BoB Evans as a whole. So I wonder who is the guilty party in this whole disaster last night? 1. Manager — tabbing people out 2 Staff — Who kept repeating we would be helped but wouldn’t help us. 3.Waitress — Who delivered nasty food, poor service, didn’t speak, 4.Kitchen Staff — Who had attitudes, unaware of their menu, wore no hair nets, filthy in their food handling 5. MYFAMILY.. .. .. .. .. We should of gotten up and left. We were warned by a couple that was coming out… Don’t go in, they are as slow as snails. We didn’t listen because it is BoB Evans. Ha… Monday the Health Dept will be notified, my CC will be credited the full amount AND this post will be on out there so everyone can see. General Manager you need to CLEANHOUSE, get some employees who want to work, get employees who know the menu so when you order you GETWHAT you ordered, buy some hair nets, and don’t go on vacation until you get it done.

Service was great, very pleasant & quick… Sharon was our waitress she was very prompt & courteous. I had the potato crusted fish & it was delicious! Staying here overnight to catch a plan out tomorrow morning glad I had dinner here I would recommend!

To start… I called my order in due to Dennys not answering the phone. The girl who took my order was not very knowledgeable of the menu and when I asked to build my own omlette stated«we’ll see!». I asked for the boarder scramble omlette(making it simpler for her) I took out the Ranchero sauce and sour cream. Added bacon and ham. The original omlette comes with sausage, spicy pepper jack cheese and other yummy stuff. Needless to say when I got back to my car my omlette had diced ham, a ton of cheddar cheese and 1STRIP of bacon ONLY! I was SO dissapointed, guess a quick breakfast isn’t possible nowadays… However; the 1 star is due to the place being clean and Mrs Barbara who cashed me out was very pleasent.

Stuck out in Kentucky due to a storm back home, ate here several times. Had the pleasure of having the same server, Yolonda! She is wonderful. From the staff behind the counter, to management. They’re excellent! Now the people are great. The food… Holy smokes it’s even BETTER!!! I’ve had the sunshine skillet. Ridiculously delicious! I’m not big on the chain restaurants but Whoah! Bob Evans takes the cake!!! I recommend it to everyone that comes into town. If I have anything negative to say it’s that they close early 9PM so it’s a no go for the party people!!!

Horrible service. I mean the waitress was nice enough but extremely slow. It was 7pm on a Wednesday night and very few people in tbe building. Took 15 minutes to bring us our drinks, forgot straws, we had to fid those ourselves. After we finally were able to order foos it took 45 mins to come out. When the food did comeout 2 items were missing, those took another 10 minutes to come out. The food in itself wasn’t bad at all, but I will never go back.

Walked into the establishment on a slower morning with a group of 10 people. We had no problem splitting into two tables so the waitress wouldn’t be over whelmed. Immediately the waitress was rude. We ordered our drinks and waited 30 minutes for her to return with them. I’m not exaggerating. Finally she takes our order and is rushing us and politeness has gone out the windows and ran far far away. Several times she comes back and forth her mood changes from forcibly nice to blatantly bitchy. We honestly thought perhaps we were in a game show. Finally we ordered and got our food. I ordered a basket of chicken tenders and got 2. On what planet do we live on when 2 chicken tenders are an acceptable amount of tenders for a plate. I did not bother asking about it in fear of waiting another hour and a half for another tender. Leaving this restaurant was like being released from prison.

Wow. I went to bob Evans on Thursday Nov. 20 to pick up some chicken noodle soup that my grandmother asked me to pick up. On recent past visits, ordering soup to go has not been an issue. On that Thursday, I ordered my soup and paid for it at the carryout counter. I was not given a receipt for my order. I then proceeded to wait and watch other customers order carryout and I proceeded to wait and then watch other customers order soup to go and I proceeded to wait and then I watch other customers receive their to go soup orders and I waited. At this(15 minutes of waiting had passed) point I got back in line just to ask about my simple order to go. Over twenty minutes of waiting for an order of soup. I could have walked down to the waffle house and ordered(and received) my food in that amount of time. I am proud of myself for staying calm because service like this is ridiculous. I have no issue with the food at bob evans– the soups are probably frozen and not made fresh– but it’s a fair price for the quality. The workers are friendly and nice, even apologetic but the staff needs some organization to say the least. Apologies are not required when providing adequate service. I will go back(if my grandmother wants bob evans) and this time I will get a receipt so I can call the 1 – 800 number on the receipt and complain. The two stars reflect the food quality. The service would get a zero.

Shittest place I’ve ever been in. Waiters and waitresses were very rude. Food wasn’t good. The atmosphere of the place is the worst. I don’t plan to go near these restaurants again.

Avoid this place like the plague, and that is being kind. The worst service on record. Upon our arrival this evening, my mom and I were blown off, by a server, saying she would be with us in a minute, and never came to seat us. We ended up ordering it to go, and the cashier had no idea to take the order, and had to ask a pre-occupied server how to ring it up. Then there was a server who spouted off to a customer how she was the only server to come in today. The manager was no where to be found, until towards the end of the excessive wait time we faced with our order. We ordered a half sandwich and soup, and it should had been a decent, quick, turn around time. The customer services skills of the staff needs to be refined greatly. They need it hammered into their head. There is no excuse for a poorly trained staff, with no customer service skills.

I’ve eaten breakfast here for the last two days. Both days at around 9:30am. They were quite busy. We had to wait both days while the hostess found someone to bus tables. Wait staff is painfully slow. Employees were chattering amongst themselves and commenting(out loud) on each other’s work. The ladies room needed immediate attention. The manager attended to that promptly after I told her. The store was very clean and the staff were all friendly. The food was standard Bob Evans fare but it was well prepared and served hot.

It is Bob Evans. A chain restaurant with the same food across the chain. It isn’t stunning but it is solid and great. I review this location specifically for exceptional service and treatment, particularly Yolanda. Our food was quickly served, prepared as ordered and Yolanda was cheerful, welcoming and exciting. She was constantly checking in, but never annoying. When we finished, she thanked us, wished us a happy holiday and had a smile on her face. I recommend the restaurant for this experience alone.

I don’t typically review chain restaurants on Unilocal, but the food and service at this Bob Evans has been so great the last few times I’ve been that I felt it was my duty to say something. I recently moved just a few miles down the road so this has become my family’s go-to for breakfast most weekends. The crepes and french toast are amazing as is the sausage gravy. One of my favorite things that I recently discovered, however, is their endless soup, salad, and bread lunch. The salad was so fresh and crisp unlike many restaurant salads(especially at a chain) and the unlimited bread includes their specialty breads like banana nut! If you need something quick or close to the Interstate/Watterson, you can’t go wrong here – they have something for everyone!

Depends in the time, for breakfast the earlier the better. Especial on Saturday mornings. If you get there after 9am good luck! That said breakfast is good mom & pop. Can’t go wrong with the café mocha either. Service is almost always great. But sometimes it bites because they have a high turnover. Overall decent breakfast. Can’t comment on anything else because I haven’t had it!

Rubbery omelet. Frozen hash browns. Passable coffee. Decent buttermilk biscuits with some hybrid science fiction butter-margarine yellow stuff. Higher than expected prices. Very good waitress. Asked at least eight times if everything was ok. We suspected that maybe she was expecting that things might NOT be ok, so we started wondering. Bad habit, I guess. Very traditional. There is not a half-inch of excitement here. Sometimes boring is ok. For some people. Not us.

Friendly service and food is great. Salads, tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, turkey bacon panini, and the straganoff were all good, nothing spectacular though. Right by the airport. Great prices.

I decided to give this place a try since it was so close to my hotel while I was in Louisville for the Lebowskifest. I can describe it very simply. It’s a country, Southern, home-cooked style menu. Large portions. You’ll definitely get your fill of carbs at this place. They also give you the big cup. You know, that big ass cup that’s more like a small to medium sized bucket for your drinks. It’s a family place, and the waitress was very nice and knew the menu really well. I had already pretty much set my heart on a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy before I even picked this place out as a place to go eat supper. So I was pleased that they didn’t disappoint me. It was on the menu, it was big, and it was tasty. The prices are on the upper edge of cheap for me, but I’m currently living in Hermosa Beach, CA, and everything costs 20% more out here simply because Californians falsely believe themselves to be 20% better than the rest of the country. But you know what, they don’t have country gravy out here. At all. Crazy huh? Shhhh, don’t tell ‘em. I don’t think they know, and I don’t want to share this with them. Keep your traffic L.A., and the rest of the good people who live in the middle of the country will hold onto our gravy. There may be other places that don’t have this wonder sauce, but don’t tell them either. Let’s just try and keep this as, «our little secret,» okay? Anyway, Bob Evans was awesome. THEKEETH
