Bryant’s Cake and Candy

I wish I could give Bryant’s 10 stars. I’ve never gotten such outstanding customer service at any other business! I’m thrilled they opened a second location in J-​town (close to my office). It’s like going to Disneyworld for me. Just being surrounded by aisles and aisles of caking products makes me happy!
Today I had a coupon for 15% off at both locations. I went to the Fegenbush Lane shop to get a lot of boards and boxes for upcoming cakes I’m working on. I also got dowel rods, fondant, and a butterfly cutter. I needed gumpaste, but they were out and I also wanted a 16“drum in silver foil. They called the Ruckreigel store and told me they had the items I needed. They had already special-​ordered a start shaped pan at the J-​town shop for me. When I drove over and walked in the door they had my pan, the gumpaste and the 16“drum ready for me. It was so convenient and I got 15% off each order! I wish all stores were this awesome!

I just love this store! They have a really wonderful inventory, with a ridiculous number of candy molds, baking pans, fun embellishments such as sprinkles, edible glitter and gum paste flowers… the variety is almost overwhelming. It’s really neat. Though I do like the charm of shopping at an older building in the Highview area, I think it would be great if they could relocate to a larger, brighter building. The last time I was there it just felt a bit claustrophobic, because they do have so much to offer in a small space.

They ordered the candy mold I needed and they called to tell me it was in less than a week after I ordered it! Wow! Nice!!!

This is a bakers dream house. Tons of items to choose from and the staff was extremely helpful! Customer service goes a long way for me and they answered every question I had.

I completely agree with everything the previous reviewer, Ashley, said. This place is phenomenal, and not just because of the great stock on the shelves, but because of the amazing *people* who work there. If you have any questions or concerns, you can get help. Whether you’re about to bake your first cake or you’ve been baking for years, this is the place for you. This gem of a store is what all local businesses should aspire to be.
