Love this place hidden in the heart of Louisville, you never know what your going to find so you have to go at lease a couple of times a month. because after so many weeks they knock the price down. I have been looking for a chaise sofa for a few years now, but I was not willing to pay what most place wanted for one and then it was either to high or not of good quality, but what did I find at Charlotte’s web you know it a chaise sofa and my pockets love it yes they do.

Charlotte’s Web looks a lot like my great grandmother’s house. It’s not hip and their furniture is what I think of when I exclude anything mid-mod from the antique equation. However, it’s one of the very few antique/second-hand stores in Louisville that actually sell furniture. I searched this whole city high and low for a basic used bookshelf. I went to 3 Goodwill’s and every high-rated antiques shop/mall and all I found was knick-knacks. So if you find yourself in need of some furniture, you *might* find it here. Most of it felt like the furniture equivalent to a doily, but I found my bookshelf here, so.

It is alright by most standards; finally convinced Mom to quit buying all kinds of things that she would never use… go figure. Nice folks though!

Took in top quality items and received 5% retail value. Items left were damaged. I salvaged what I could. Not coming back. Majorly disappointed. Not even an apology from them.

Unfortunately, three dollar signs marked for this place is probably correct — it is kind of expensive, but the good news is the prices go down every few weeks, and on holidays they often have 10% off promotions. Definitely worth a try, no matter the budget or taste.

They did a great job with the consignment of my furniture and easy to deal with. The only small issue is that you have to call them to find out if you have a check waiting, they won’t mail it out. Great selection and friendly service.

I love Charlotte’s Web for cute furniture and home accessories. They have an excellent selection of high quality, durable furniture that matches(whole bedroom suits, for instance) and will look perfect in my home! It’s just a pity that this place is so close to where I live, I spend too much time finding ways to spend money here. You could outfit an entire house tastefully, several times over, with the selection at Charlotte’s Web. Every time I stop in, there is something that catches my eye and tugs at my purse-strings. Whether it’s a small end table, a decorative serving dish, or a framed picture for the wall, I am always inspired by a visit here. The prices seem reasonable to me given the quality of the furniture that the store stocks. I hope you’ll visit and find that Charlotte’s web draws you in like it has done to me!

This a very nice eclectic consignment store. If you need it and it’s vintage they probably have it.

What a fab concept, cute, local shop for gently used furniture, arranged under one roof. Found a one of a kind piece, at a reasonable enough price, low enough to overlook a few scratches. My «good find» feelings were dashed when I watched the proprietor manhandle our«treasure» onto a cart. My boyfriend(who was driving the checkbook, and the car) was outside lining the wagon with mover’s pads. Unnecessary, the man said. The piece was unceremoniously dumped onto the back bumper, as the cart skitterred across the lot about to bash into another customer’s car. As I arrested the cart our new find was given an almighty shove, got caught on the latch, peeling back a section of the aluminum veneer. Unbelievable! Then the attitude! Take it or leave it! «It Happens» Careless? or «Could You Care… Less»??? My «new» Buffet, good used, now Abused. A fix attempted by an apologetic worker, whose professionalism was not echoed by the Owner: Full — price holds, or full refund and dump it back inside. No token discount for his mistake. This is a CONSIGNMENT shop, whose«cut» is a hefty 50%. Sellers and Buyers Beware!!! I’ll stick to Craigslist
