In the beginning when they are trying to hook you in, they are really nice and friendly, but that’s all business. After you sing in, the only thing that matters is whether you pay on time or not. And they can be pretty hostile on those matters. The other thing is that when you pass to regular classes, there is not really a instructor telling you what to do, or how to do it. They assume you know it all… Third, after you cancel, you may still get charged. So be really careful. The price of this«grateful» gym is $ 90 a month. I’m pretty sure you can find something way better and less stressful for the same price at any other location.

day 41 of my vision quest i spent the last week training hard at derby city with some really cool guys. colin and kyle are the bjj instructors. they have boxing, mma, wrestling, muay thai, and some other martial arts. i got to train with amateur mma fighter and good buddy of mine chewy mainly. sometimes with his friend george who was closer to my size. not a lot of schools offer wrestling so that was invaluable. chewy got me in great shape. he is one of their best purple belts there and will offer to help anyone. as well as george who will drill and spend extra time that fighters need. i feel i got my game really sharpened here and my cardio is looking great. so are my six minute abs! lots of tough guys and a lot of pro and amateur local fighters. great place for beginners and above. its the best academy in the area, with weights, cage, 2 mats, bags, etc. if you live in the area and want to get in shape or be a fighter, this is your spot.
