I had a good cup of Novo black coffee at Eclectic Café and the service was very friendly. They also have pastries, crepes, bagels and sandwiches that I’d love to try another time. The place is fairly big and it might be the reason why I don’t find it very cosy. I read on their website that they have live music, poetry nights and other events, which sounds interesting.

I had a very nice pour over at Eclectic and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. We had a chocolate croissant that was pretty average but it was around noon so probably not too fresh anymore. I didn’t find the atmosphere particularly warm or cozy so it didn’t really make me want to hang out. Eclectic was fine to grab a quick cup of joe, which is what I was after.

Very trendy looking place for the rustic charm that is the old town of louisville. I was surprised to see such a pinterest worthy café there, but was very pleased to see a little modernization to the area while still maintaining the homey allure with its dark words and cream toned accents. Dining environment put aside, the coffee was okay. Nothing too extreme for the senses, not horrible but not titillating to the taste buds either. No bells or whistles like impressive foam art or anything really. My coffee was fine, but my friend’s hot chocolate left her feeling a little nauseous afterwards. Perhaps, they mixed up her order and didn’t substitute for soy milk when she’s lactose intolerant? I don’t know. The real treat though was that on the particular evening I visited eclectic, there was some kind of coffee shop open mike entertainment where real hipster type people gathered the courage to take the stage and grace us with their lovely coffee shop acoustic covers of popular music on the radio. Super fun. Will try to figure out if that’s a regular event because although the coffee was nothing special, the music was something new and different that I’d love to check out again.

I wish I could rate this place higher because it seems like they’re really trying. All the staff are super friendly. The food is just not there though. The sandwich I got just didn’t have that fresh taste you want in a lunch sandwich … It was just blah. The one coffee drink I had here was pretty decent. The building itself is reminiscent of a VFW — drop ceilings and plain tile floor. I want to like this place but it’s difficult.

«How much is a refill?» «Let me figure out the register, hold on… okay it’s 54 cents.» That will be 4 stars my friend. Maybe 5. Because for me, most of the coffee experience is just finding a place to do work and satisfy a coffee need in a sustainable way — and the good people at Eclectic seem to understand this. Mhm.

Really impressed by this place. I was visiting the area from Pasadena and honestly did not expect to find the level of coffee that is served at Eclectic. I am so glad that shops are starting to embrace the art that is coffee. Eclectic does a great job making drinks that are both delicious and artfully prepared. I enjoyed a cortado that was one of the best espressos that I have had in the US. I also ordered a savory crêpe with lox and olive tapenade that was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly despite a good sized crowd. When I am in the area I will make stopping here a priority. Great Place!

Wow! The service here is sooooo slow. Don’t come here is you need to B nin and out in less than 30 minutes and that was just for a coffee and a cookie. I don’t know why I came back. I leave irritated every time. It would make it a little better if they would greet you when you walk in or say«be with you as soon as I take care of the customer in front of you who ordered a latte that will take me 20 minutes to make» or «SORRYFORTHELONGWAIT» but nothing. They could have the best coffee on the planet but the slow and ridiculous service is a complete turn off!

This place is the real deal. Best coffee in Colorado. Great Italian roast, brand new Rancilio machine. Crepes are absolutely delicious. Parking sucks.

I came here for the first time after getting a coupon from the RecycleBank. The two people that waited on me made me probably the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. The shop was not crowded, the staff was friendly and knowledgable, and it was a nice place to just sit and enjoy the morning.

Of all the coffee shops in town, these guys have the best espresso. Seriously. And the breakfast burritos are big and delicious.

The crêpe I had this morning was light, delicious and healthy. The serving is generous so you can eat one and share one with a friend! Whatever you do, don’t pass on the crêpe selection! It was worth the drive over from Lafayette on a cold morn.

Delicious food and great coffee. Super nice staff that accommodated my need for late night food for my pregnant wife even though they had already closed the kitchen. I had the iced coffee and it wasn’t the garbage you get at Starbucks, was fresh toddy coffee. Vibe inside isn’t incredible with fluorescent lights and only a few comfy chairs, BUT their service and quality of food and drink still deserves a 5 star review. Will be back often.

I wish I would have taken a picture while I was there! Met a friend for tea. Service was great and I like the way the place is set up. I would like to go again and try some food. But the tea and atmosphere were great!
