«The food was great, the employees were amazing, they struck up a conversation like that and the food came like so quickly! The place was clean and looks good!» «Big Boy rocks! Big Boy rolls! I love Big Boy but the Boy is freaky but the food tastes good!» «The place looked nice and and I liked the baked apples really good… and they had cool straws!» Great family environment, good fresh food and super friendly staff. Will come back if I’m ever in LOUISVILLE again

Yep. Lunch time. Once again I had the salad bar. Doesn’t change much. Consistantly satisfies. Don’t understand how the lettuce has tan edges by 1230. Two heaping plates full and I’m okay. I really think it’s the ice that brings me back. Not cubes, but finely ground. Weird huh?

It’s a must that I visit Frisch’s when I’m in town. The Big Boy is a classic and the vegetable soup on the salad bar is as good as I remembered.

I used to go here all the time for lunch since I work very close. It was always fine. I tried it again yesterday out of the blue and it was still as good as ever. I had the turkey wrap with the spinach tortilla. It filled me up very well and was fresh tasting. Service was fast.

Went with my wife and some friends. The waitress was courteous. The food was good, I had their signature Burger which has Frisch’s famous tartar sauce on it, which is weird but surprisingly good. They had a nice big salad bar that my wife got, which was a nice alternative since she’s a vegetarian and usually diner type places like this don’t have too many alternatives for her. I would definitely recommend it, especially over a similar restaurant like Perkins.

Actually, this Frisch’s meets more of my specs for«diner» food than most of the indie joints in town. I do welcome new input on this matter, however. As such, this is the Louisville branch of Frisch’s to check out if you’re into the Big Boy scene. Far better than the one on Shelbyville Rd(although I did enjoy my one meal at the new Fern Creek location it is too out of my way for general use).
