Gift horse in my NuLu neighborhood is full of interesting items. Went in to check out their selection for Derby season. Many new items.

Stopped in here to look around and was able to find something for my parents for Christmas. There was a selection of edibles (bourbon sugar, cherries and other things), some good Kentucky things to gift to people who don’t live here. The staff was friendly and even though my item will be packed in a piece of luggage, packaged it so I would have needed to rewrap as a gift. A great place to keep in mind for Kentucky gifts that are bourbon centered.

If you take a good look at this Gifthorse, you’ll only find good things.
It’s places like Gifthorse that make NuLu the destination that it is.
There are so many fun things to look at in this little shop: bow ties, paper goods, handmade jewelry, clothes, home goods. Gifthorse has a little bit of everything.
And the large wrought iron chandelier in the shop deserves a look or two as well.
Gifthorse is aptly named because you’ll come out with gifts — for others or for yourself. And also check out their other store on South Fourth Street downtown.
