Rude rude rude. Save yourself the trip because they won’t do what you want anyway. I have been in here multiple times with multiple people. They gave treated every single one of them like they were stupid and beneath them. We were sent away multiple times claiming they aren’t «allowed» to do certain things that other shops have never heard of.

I brainstormed for so long on what piece to get. I wanted something to represent my love of music as well as me and my own life. In This Moment is a band I discovered two Shiprocked cruises ago and immediately bought the music when I returned home and my daughters also fell in love with them. One of the things that has been very important to me as my children have been growing up is to live «in this moment» and take them to as many events and places as I could so that we could share great memories before they’re grown. Concerts happens to be one of the things we do and when we went to In This Moment’s tour they both said it was the best time ever. I agreed. The song «Sick Like Me» which this piece is from is about when someone loves you despite of your flaws. It’s that vision of people who are super eccentric and twisted, but they’re perfect like that because that’s who they are. «You’re beautiful and sick like me». That’s how I see me and my children. Despite our weirdness, we love each other and we’d do anything for each other. That’s something Maria Brink (pictured) reminds us of and damn she’s beautiful. I wanted only the best artist around to do this piece for me and that’s where Billy came in. He and The Hornet’s Nest are the very best around. From the minute you walk in you know you’re about to get some bad ass art on your body for the rest of your life. I love his work and have been following him for a long time. I’m so glad I chose him to do this. I love it! Just wait until the color is added. I just may faint!

Started going to Hornets nest for all my piercings after I had originally gone to twisted images to get my tongue piercing but declined to tell me that their piercer was out of town. They told me Josh would be the best piercer in Louisville so I drove half an hour to the small shop and I must say I left pretty impressed. Josh was really informational about all my piercings and had done my septum piercing, tongue piercing, ears, and helped stretched my ears as well. All of my piercings healed wonderfully and clean. They wasn’t kidding when they say that they’re the best in what they do.

Just started my third tattoo from Boomer. He’s the only person I get tattoos from since he did one for me a few years ago. I highly recommend him. He always does a great job & I’m always happy with his work. He is a great artist!

Brandon did an awesome job on my tats. I got my chest, biceps, and a couple touch ups. It was a pleasant experience. Shout out to Susan, Josh, Lisa and Brandon. They’re awesome and the prices are unbelievable.
