Insomnia Cookies

This was the first time I have ever heard of insomnia cookies. They were delicious and perfectly cooked! Only gave four stars because they are a bit pricey and your friends will steal them but hey I guess you pay for the service and availability at 2am when you’re working night shift and have a sweet tooth.

Following a show at UofL, I knew I wanted a small treat for my way home. That’s how I found Insomnia cookies. This is the perfect location for a place like this, a college campus. There a variety of cookie options and they are given to you warm. You can also get a cookiewich with your choice of cookies and ice cream. They also have bottles of milk, if you prefer that form for your milk instead of ice cream. They deliver, and they even do larger orders of cookies so you can feed your friends. I got the M&M and snickerdoodle cookie. I can’t wait to try a cookiewich next time!

I don’t think there is any question as to why Insomnia Cookies exists. I mean, let’s be honest. It’s a place that sells cookies… they’re open until like 3am… and they deliver. Can we say stoner/​drunk food? I mean, that’s fine… Taco Bell’s sole existence is to provide food-​type matter to the drunken crowds on Friday nights and Saturday nights. It’s definitely a market that needs to be exploited much more than it is.
Apart from all of that — Insomnia Cookies is really good. It reminds me of Otis Spunkmeyer. Which is a compliment. I spent my high school years gorging myself on Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. They’re dope. Insomnia Cookies is dope. Stop in when you got that sweet tooth. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow. So good. All the different types. They deliver. Always hot and fresh. Moist, flavorful, not too greasy.

Normally I’m a little harsh on national chains, but this is seriously one of the best cookie places in all of Louisville.

I tried a couple of different kinds of cookies, I wasn’t impressed. They weren’t good to me. They were tasteless and dry. I personally haven’t returned but my friend loves them and goes there often.

They don’t bake any cookies after 1am. It’s called insomnia cookies and they don’t bake after 1. Not only that the lady was extremely rude about it. Used to love the place now I’m not going back.

After some hype and a trip across town, I was left feeling slightly disappointed. They may or may not make the cookies onsite, regardless they taste just like some frozen cookies I have found elsewhere. They have a different twist with the deluxe and the ice cream options but the overall taste is about the same. That being said they are still good cookies, just not $ 8 a half dozen good. Plus 7+ for a pint if ice cream that doesn’t come close to Graeters pint I can get at Kroger for a few bucks less. Seems way overpriced, but just perfect for a college kid who needs something to eat besides taco bell or McDonalds.

I first tried an insomnia cookies in nyc. Awesome, warm cookies from the oven and friendly staff. My experience here was the same, awesome cookies and staff.
Small little shop right off 4^th St on the north end of the UofL campus. Walk in, look at the display for cookies and pick the ones you want. Doesn’t get any simpler than that. They do have deluxe cookies which are bigger and a little more extravagant than the standard but all of them are delicious.
They are open till 3am and deliver. Although I don’t not eat cookies often, if I do I will always look for an IC before going anywhere else.

Insomnia cookies are probably the best cookies I’ve ever had. The soft and chewy cookies are so warm that they melt right away in your mouth ooooo so good. I’m drooling just thinking about the cookies. The cookies are 1.35 each and they have plenty of options.
You have different toppings and mix ins, deluxe cookies, brownies and also serve ice cream. Why not combine both and get yourself a cookiewich for $ 5.
My favorite is the double chocolate chunk cookie and if I get a cookiewich I’ll get chocolate chip dough goes really well with even more chocolate. Insomnia cookies is open til 3am and they even have delivery and cookie cakes for that celebration, special someone or just a good old treat yo self appetite. If you love cookies as much I do you won’t be disappointed when you check out insomnia cookies.

All their cookies are stored in a heated container to ensure that your cookies are just baked quality when you buy them. Still want to satisfy your sweet tooth but not a fan of cookies? Also, Insomnia Cookies is open until 3am which is one of the many reasons why I enjoy it. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, then definitely check them out.

When I was young, there was a small blue monster that used to run around everywhere eating cookies. I haven’t seen him in a long time. I believe that’s because he lives within the delivery radius of Insomnia Cookies. I know I do, and it’s difficult for me to find a good reason to leave the house because of it. Cookies may be Slightly warmer if you show up in person, otherwise, pick your favorite, grab some milk (which they have) and dig in. They are delicious!

Unfortunately I live right outside Insomnia’s delivering area, but let me tell you… The drive is worth it for this deliciousness! They are located on University of Louisville’s campus near Cardinal Towne, and they stay open until 3:00 am (hints the name).
You can choose from 6 – 8 different types of cookies and they also have about 8 different flavors of ice cream.
As is always the case, I was being extremely indecisive. I ended up choosing to build my own cookie sandwich. I went with the double chocolate chip cookie, a snickerdoodle cookie, and coffee ice cream in the middle. So. Good. I couldn’t finish it all, so half of it is still waiting for me in my freezer! I will definitely be going back.

You know? The first time I learned about such a brand was when I was browsing Craig’s List and found that this business needed brand ambassadors to help bring awareness to it. I never had actually taken the time to visit a business with this name.
My friend from Louisville decided to bring some over, when she had visited, for an event happening in Lexington. These were DELICIOUS. I would say they have the same texture as those soft gingerbread cookies you could get in the supermarket. I would still say that my ALL TIME favorite cookies, Mrs. Fields, are the winner. These come in a close 2^nd tie with Great American Cookies.

You know what I love? Cookies! These cookies are absolutely fantastic. The peanut butter cookies are some of the best cookies that I’ve ever had.
You know what I hate? The big ass attitude from the folks behind the counter. Am I interrupting your brooding self-​loathing? Maybe save that shit for philosophy class, okay, pumpkin?
I’ve stopped in here a few times and have been met with the same seething apathy each time. The last time was enough to make me never return despite the lure of that amazing peanut butter cookie.
Me: (After waiting a few minutes for the order in front of mine to be grudgingly filled) Hi! How’re you today?

Pop: *death glare* (while grabbing the box and sighing audibly)
Me: I’d like six peanut butter, four chocolate chip, and two oatmeal.
Pop: *death glare* (audibly sighing and muttering some incantation while slamming cookie racks around)
So, this broad slaps the cookies in the box and just stares at me with that death glare. She didn’t utter a single word. I handed over my debit card, signed the slip, and beamed cheer and good will at her just to piss her off even more.
I’ll miss the peanut butter cookies.

This place is fantastic!!! The cookies melt in your mouth!!! Had them delivered to my job and they arrived promptly!!! Will order from their again in the future.

I love Insomnia! We had one up in Indianapolis by my university and I am so excited there is one in Louisville! Fresh cookies and milk delivered to your door all night?! Yes please.
